While on vacation our dog developed a skin infection. We brought him to the Fernandina Beach animal clinic and they were amazing. Even though they knew we were from out of town and probably a one time patient, they treated us amazing. I had a wonderful experience at the Fernandina animal clinic that came recommended on next-door and from two of my local neighbors in North Hampton. The entire staff  went above and beyond to help me manage Cloe and my two disabled people husband and father terrific and very attentive. Dr Fallion connected with Cloe 14 yrs old  like no other vet had in the future.  The rates are very competitive and then I appreciate the follow up call later to just check on Chloe and see how she's doing overall it was an amazing experience and we have found our vet and I recommend other people to give them an opportunity to serve your needs Read Less

Spent a small fortune one year ago for a routine yearly checkup including heartworm antibody tests (which were negative) shots, and heartworm medication. This year I went back to get a prescription for heartworm medication to fill at Walmart to save a few dollars. Receptionist refused my request saying that federal law required a yearly checkup to prescribe heartworm medication. In reality, as Florida is horse and cattle country, any animal medication can be purchased without a perscription so that people can treat their animals in a cost effective way. The vet herself, could not even trim my dogs nails without drugging her. I can not say enough great things about this office. The staff at the desk and the techs are always polite and friendly and they obviously love their jobs. The doctors are amazing. Dr. Carol Fallin has become more like a friend. I cannot say enough great things about this place. From the front staff to all the female doctors I have had on staff..they laugh with you and have cried with me during sad times too. Dr. Hart and Dr. Rew I just love. My cat has just been diagnosed with Cancer and I live in Cincinnati. I have made arrangements to be in Amelia just so I can be closer to these doctors. I am so happy to have found this vets office after recently moving to the area. All the staff has been VERY kind and extra accomodating to my pets needs. They were able to see us same day, within just a couple hours of calling, for what could have been an emergency situation. Another vets office told me what I was describing could be very serious, but... they couldn't see my dog that same day. I called Fernandina Beach Animal Clinic and they said to of course bring my dog right in that afternoon, as it could be something very serious and needed attended to right away.
