I have been taking my pets (dogs) to Fleming Island Pet Clinic for more than 19 yrs. Every experience has been the most professional, courteous &, caring.3 times now I have had to take a pet to the emergency hospital and, fortunately, each time one of the techs have been there as well. Everyone there is professional and still fun. Our baby Rochelle has been going there since she became ours. She was spayed and was treated wonderfully. My sister took her in when we were away because of severe itching from the groomer not using oatmeal shampoo or a flea she got there. They saw her and gave us medicine for her. The doctor and staff at Fleming Island Pet Clinic who worked with my cat are the best, most caring veterinary care persons I've ever come in contact with! The front desk staff are also helpful, pleasant and professional. My cat was scared and very upset when I came into the clinic. The technician and doctor calmed down my cat (and me) in very effective ways, created a space that helped him to feel safe and gave him a thorough exam with immunizations. They showed him such love, as well, which really touched me. I wouldn't go to any other clinic besides this one and highly recommend it! Read Less

I called Fleming Island Pet Clinic when my daughter's mouse, Cupcake, was sick. Dr. Antar saw us within an hour of me calling and got her into surgery immediately (she is doing great!!!) when no one else would even see Cupcake. The staff was very friendly and even showed us around the clinic which is very clean and has boarding for cats, dogs, and birds. I have been taking my 2 cats to Fleming Island Pet Clinic for the last 3 years and couldn't be happier with the care they have received here. One of my cats has had significant medical issues, and the staff here have literally saved his life twice. In one of those instances, the receptionist took one look at him and called a vet off her lunch break to see him, and in the other instance I was travelling abroad and the staff was so patient and flexible in working with my cat sitter and figuring out medical decisions and payment logistics with me across time zones. We left our old Vet for Fleming Island Pet Clinic and couldn't be happier. They have always demonstrated nothing short of caring medical professionalism. My cats are well looked after. Dr. Antar is amazing with my animals and always takes her time on our visits. Dr Lowery saved the day for one of my cats that had a huge abscess on his back. They showed me how to administer insulin shots that my cat needs twice a day. The vet techs are wonderful and thorough when inquiring about the health of my animals. And the front staff have always been very nice and fast when checking in or out. I would not hesitate to refer someone to their clinic. Read Less

The only clinic in Jacksonville that I'd trust with my precious furbabies. I drive 45 minutes one way to make sure that my bunnies and guinea pigs have the best, most compassionate, most-knowledgeable exotic animal veterinarians in town.They also have their own Rx compounding machine--which is mind-blowing in and of itself. Can you say banana-flavored Baytril???If you are lucky enough to be owned by a rabbit, a guinea pig, a pocket pet or a bird (Um...obviously...), THIS is the place to go when they need a little TLC. I can't say enough great things about this place!!!  We moved to Fleming Island 3 years ago and we've tried different vet clinics and we LOVE this one!  I know there are many other vets in the area with wonderful reviews also but this one is amazing!!!  All of the front desk staff are friendly, professional, helpful and really take the time to explain things.  Our dogs have seen Dr. Antar and Dr. Lowry and they are FABULOUS!!!  They are so caring and compassionate.  They really do take care of our dogs.  Thank you to all of you for all that you do!!! Horrible!! After spending a lot of money on xrays and blood work for my dog they sent me home to wait on the blood work to come in. They let me leave with nothing to help my poor dog who was in pain. I was told I would receive a call the next day. The next day I never got a call so I called them. I was told that the results were in and the vet would get back to me that day. Still no call that day!! The next day I called them as I was obviously upset and they told me my vet wasn't in that day!! Seriously?! They were obviously never going to call me back. I expressed my frustration to the receptionist again and later that day one of the assistants called me back with the results FINALLY, but give me a break!! It's very clear that they could care less about my poor dog. Also the diagnosis I was given from this vet for my dog was not even correct!! I switched to a new vet who got the diagnosis right thank god. Bottom line is...I would never recommend Fleming Island Pet Clinic to anyone. Read Less

I absolutely loved our visit to this vet office. The staff treated my Cooper wonderfully. Our dog is definitely starting to feel better already. Cooper even had several shots which were given in a manner that was quick and efficient. Cooper didn't even realize he was giving shots. Both the vets and the techs truly care about their pet patients. I truly felt that my dog received the quality of care he needed to feel alot better. They are very honest about Wal-Mart having some medicine cheaper them them as well as sending you to a different vet if they feel they are not able to handle the problem with your pet. I will be taking all of my animals to this vet even if I end up driving an hour to get there. Read Less
