Life is RUFF they say and it could be... but I believe with professionals that love furry friends, life can be PURRFECT! So my new little furry meow friend is 1 month old, we just got her, first meow friend ever and am kind of clueless how to care for one even though meow friends are easy to care for. Anyways, meow friend was throwing up in the morning for two days and so my common sense said take her to the vet. I happened to have passed Rogers Animal Hospital a couple days before she got sick and said how convenient this location was to my house. I called and received a friendly voice on the other end of the line that was understanding and willing to schedule meow friend an appointment asap. I was impressed on the friendliness of the staff and doctors. Everyone was super nice, professional and knowledgeable. Poor meow, they helped her, she was sick. Gave her shots, medicine, a check up and on her way she went to feeling like a brand new kitty almost immediately. They gave me some kitty tips as well on care taking and facts about her breed that happens to be a Russian Blue (smart, intuitive kitty). The animal clinic/hospital was very clean, sterile and spacious. Located right on Davie Boulevard. Parking is free, they have their own parking lot. They are also conveniently open on Saturdays but appointments book up fast (as per front desk personnel). On the way home meow friend was thankful and happy I took her to see the doctor. She told me to YELP about it and give this review 5 Paw Stars! ;) Read Less

0 stars. Stay away from this place if you love your pet.I brought my dog for a full physical and to have his mouth cleaned due to a foul odor. Dr. Marks said he didn't need a cleaning but that my other dog, whose mouth seemed fine to me, did. I did as told but brought him back in a few months later and was lectured for waiting so long although I had called and was told by Dr. Marks "this is a dog's mouth, it's always going to smell". Dr. Marks did a dental cleaning, removing flaps of skin which created pockets where whole grains of food got trapped. I called Dr. Marks because I thought this would lead to a bigger infection and was told to use a rag to wipe his mouth after eating. After a month, I took my dog back in because the pockets were obviously infected, and Dr. Marks had to remove teeth and bone and he was put on another round of antibiotics. A week after that, the anti-inflammatory medications and ice hadn't brought down the facial swelling and I noticed pus on the side of his lip from the outside which extended along a very cut up inside cheek. It seemed like the result of a sloppy surgery. I just really hurt for my poor dog. Dr. Rogers put him on yet another antibiotic and I started to see another vet.I also had another incident with my other dog where Dr. Marks drew up 2 syringes, one from a large, unlabeled bottle of pink fluid and another bottle and reached to inject my dog at which point I asked what medications he was using. Dr. Marks replied "If you don't move your hand, I will inject it into you" so I told him I still needed to know the names of the medications. He was obviously upset that I seemed to be questioning him and rattled off the generic names very quickly. Unfortunately, this did nothing for my dog's condition and about a month later, I took her to another vet who gave me a different diagnosis. Dr. Marks is an unsafe and cocky bully of a vet who doesn't know what he's doing and by my interactions with him, I'm sure has caused undo illness to many other pets. I only wish Dr. Rogers had the sense to remove this man from his staff long ago knowing all that he had done to my dogs. My advice is not to go to a vet because they seem "ok" and will save you money. Eventually going back to fix their mistakes multiple times will cost you much more than if you had gone to a safe and prudent vet in the first place. Read Less

I go to the location on 441 and broward BLVD. Dr. Rogers and his partner are absolutely excellent. I was so nervous about finding a vet that I trust. My friend recommended here and I love it. They are the most affordable that I've found. Dr. Rogers even gave me a tick med that he got as a sample from the company, and gave it to me for free. So clearly they aren't money hungry. They make you feel very comfortable and I trust them. I can't say enough good things about them. My dog was sick and they saw her the very next day. No negatives to report. They make you feel very comfortable and I trust them. I can't say enough good things about them. My dog was sick and they saw her the very next day. No negatives to report. Oh and they are open early mornings so I can go before work, and on Saturdays which is perfect. I'll never go anywhere else. Read Less

Owned and operated by Dr. Rusty Rogers of 441 Animal Hospital. Very caring, honest and competent. I have no hesitations in recommending this hospital.
