When I moved to the Ft Myers area 6 years ago, I was looking for a vet for my 3 cats. Animal Clinic at Kelly Crossing was close to my house at the time, so I began taking my cats there for vaccination...
When I moved to the Ft Myers area 6 years ago, I was looking for a vet for my 3 cats. Animal Clinic at Kelly Crossing was close to my house at the time, so I began taking my cats there for vaccinations and check-ups. This past February, I called the ACAKC in a panic because by 14 year old cat had seemingly gone blind. I was told that the Dr was in surgery and was instructed to take my cat to a specialty veterinary clinic. 7 hours and $1000 later, the specialty clinic tells me that my cat had high blood pressure, which had been undiagnosed for quite some time, and was, in fact, blind because of it.
A week later, I came home to find that my cat had experienced a stroke. Unfortunately, the brain damage was so severe that we had to make the decision to have her euthanized. You would think that after I called ACAKC in a panic, they would have called to check on my cat. But no - to this day, I have not heard one word from these people. I transferred the records of my surviving animals to a new veterinarian and haven't looked back.
I've also learned just how much ACAKC was overcharging me for medication and food. They used to charge me $65 for a bag of saline fluid for my cat who is in renal failure - my new vet charges $12. I'd be willing to pay the higher price if the staff actually cared about my pets...but it's apparent that they don't.

Brought my dog there on Wednesday and I told them he wasn't eating or drinking and he was lethargic. They gave me some medication for him and he was doing worst the next day. Waste of $200. Took him to Our Hope Center in North Fort Myers and we found out he had Parvo, they took him in and he's being treated there until he gets better. I can't believe the lack of concern here at this clinic.

My dog loves it here. All of the staff is so nice and friendly, and truly love and care for my dog. Their prices for everything are very reasonable and I trust that they take excellent care of my dog....

This is a family practice that has retained their employees for years. They have great respect for one another and ther clients. They saved our puppy's life on Valentine's Day, 2012. Our vet at Summerlin Animal Hosspital was no where to be found at 1PM on Thursday afternoon. We went to ACKC and they save her with major abdominal surgery. They are available 24-7! They offer pics with Santa every year with your pets!

I was amazed at the friendly staff and professional service I received. I was staying at our condo in Fort Myers when my Golden Retriever suddenly developed a severe "hot spot." Without knowing who to call, I quickly located your facility close to our condo. Without an appointment I was instructed to bring in my pet "Gus" in for an immediate examination. The staff on duty quickly determined the medical issue. Gus was given a shot and within 24 hours the problem was resolved. We now have established a veterinary clinic to bring Gus to whenever we are in Fort Myers.

What happened to the days of good customer service and people enjoying what they do? I called this clinic to inquire if they carry Advantage Multi, a flea/heartworm prevention for dogs. I asked the girl who answered the phone if they carry it, and her reply was simply "No" - and then silence. Well, "ok, thanks" I said and hung up. As with my complaint of Summerlin Animal Hospital - why wouldn't you try to get more info from me and get my business? If I'm calling to inquire about products and/or services I'm obviously looking to spend money and a place to do so!!Even if you didn't have what I was looking for. How about "we do not carry that product but have something comparable" or " We don't carry Advantage Multi, but have other flea and heartworm prevention - what is it that you like about Advantage Multi"? OR...even "We carry such and such product, we prefer it over Advantage Multi" Whatever...why wouldn't you try to get me to come buy what you DO have?I just don't get it. People always seem bothered by your call anymore instead of appreciative of your interest in their business. That's fine because whether or not I buy Advantage Multi - I will not be buying it there! We love Animal Clinic at Kelly Crossing. We take 5 of our animals there, our dogs Bear and Roxy go most often. We love that it is personalized care and you are welcomed and treated like a family member. Prices are afordable and average the same as other places in town. We would recomend Animal Clinic at Kelly Crossing to others.

I don't know what is about the other post. The only thing I can think of is maybe he mixed up the 2 vets nearby.. since they are close together.

Animal Clinic@kelly Crossing has always offered cheaper alternatives to me, making sure my pet is healthy, and offered sound positive advice!
The Group here is very friendly and kind towards, both you and your pet.
They are very reasonable on prices. For my pet medication it was only 9 dollars more than 1800 petmeds!
In fact I had expected it to be more and I would still have helped my local vet ( if they are competing with online retailers they will not make any money on such a little markup!)
I always recommend this vet to everyone..
I have tried the others close by and they where WAY over priced and did not even bother answering some of my questions, almost like I was a waste of their time!
We have been using ACatKC for 2 years now.. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMERS!

Brought my dog there on Wednesday and I told them he wasn't eating or drinking and he was lethargic. They gave me some medication for him and he was doing worst the next day. Waste of $200.
