Love taking Emma to Cat Nip Inn. She is very comfortable there waiting to see the vet without the stress of dogs barking. Staff and Dr.Bean are very professional and kind to Emma. The Inn is an excellent idea for all cats. My vet does not carry the Purevax rabies needed and the owner won’t order it. It makes me think that Coral Vet Clinic cares more about animals than money or convince. I love my vet and am not looking to change but I have question why they aren’t using the “safer” vaccine recommended by the breeder. Read Less

Just an average vet. Only went there once and not impressed. Vet answered all my questions. Seems like every vet has rude secretaries. One hung up on me. Price is very high. I have been to the clinic 4 times with my 5 month old German Shepherd puppy. The place is very nice and staff are friendly . We love our Vet, Dr. Braun. I have 2 negative comments..one is that there is no “walk in” doctor assigned so as a result, I was kept waiting for more than 45 minutes in the waiting area since our doctor was busy with an emergency. This has happened twice so far. This is stressful for my puppy since other dogs come in and start barking so it is very noisy. The second negative is that I was charged $162.60 for a test my puppy never had, because someone made an error and pressed a wrong button. I noticed this after I arrived home and it was corrected..but I would advise people to review their bill before paying, to make sure it is correct. The exam rooms are very small, but okay..they have a playground for group classes and for animals who are boarded. I will continue to take my puppy to Coral Veterinary Clinic and I hope the 2 negatives are resolved. They are open on Saturday, which is a plus. Read Less

Went to Cape Coral vet clinic a week ago. We live part time in Florida and part time in Ohio. I needed to get my Shih Tzu a shot of Adequan for her arthritis. She currently gets them once a month. They knew exactly what I was talking about and fit us right in. I brought all of her records so there would be no questions. They were amazing, so compassionate and caring as well as very complimentary about my baby.  They're prices ended up being a few dollars cheaper than our other vet!!  These folks will be our new Florida vet!  Thank you!!!! I took my indoor cat to this facility, I have recently moved here so I did not know much on where to go I came to Coral Veterinary Clinic & enjoyed that the cat appointments were in a separate building to make the ease of my cats experience much more smoothly. My cat received a check up and two shots (rabies & some other one) the total ended up being $200+ which shocked me.. even though the place was very nice the price of this trip shocked me and has me wanting to look for another place that is more affordable because for 2 shots and a check up to be $200+ is a bit crazy. We do not normally go to this vet because we adopted our senior dog at the humane society so kept her care and records there. However she was having a hard time breathing and they were open on Saturday, very close by,  and would work her in for us. Unfortunately our dog was not well and needed to be put to sleep. Dr Bean and her staff were sympathetic to us and our needs during this difficult time with our pet and I thank them so much for treating us so well and with so much respect. I was given a recommendation for Coral Veterinary Clinic from a friend who also takes her pets there. WOW...I am so glad I listened!!!! I loved the fact that they have a separate building for cats since going to the vet isn't always a pleasant experience for kitties. Dr Andazola and his entire staff were so kind and welcoming to myself and my 3 kittens. They loved on them, held them, and played with them as though they were their own. They even gave us a toy to take home. I have had pets all my life and have been to many different vets over the years. We recently made the full time move to Sanibel and have decided to stay with Coral Veterinary Clinic for the ongoing care of my mini schnauzer Jack. I started going there because of the convenience, I love not having to go off island. But after a few years of part-time care, I was really impressed with the level of care Jack receives. The doctors are very professional and competent, with an obvious abundance of experience. I am always on board with their recommendations for Jack. They are happy to explain why they think a certain treatment or vaccination is important. The staff is also very competent, and so friendly to Jack. He loves them all, and has no trouble going there for checkups or treatment. They are great about reminders, and very accommodating with our needs, such as requests for documents or emergency visits. I feel very relieved to know we have such a wonderful veterinary facility on the island, and they are available whenever I need them. Read Less

Over 30 years we have used Coral Vet. Recently we had to give our cat a pill every day for 10 days. Our Ivan has a bit of wildness in him and we were not able to do this on our own. They told us we could bring him in and the techs would do it for free. Yay!! So that is what we did. Cindy Andazola with the Cat Nap Inn is the most amazing tech. I truly don't know what we would do without Dr. Oyer and the staff here. Our English Bulldog, Dozer, has been quite the hands full for first time dog owners.  He ate a septic dead turtle and had bladder stones, but Dr. Oyer and the staff here has seen us through it all!Any emergency issue, and we were able to get right in! Even when he needed an IV for a few days after eating the dead turtle, Dr. Oyer sent us to a hospital and checked in with us throughout the process. I couldn't be happier with the level of attention and care that their entire staff treats us with during each visit! I only came here once with my wife to see if they were hiring. Place looks very clean including the bathroom and lobby, staff at front desk seemed to be very kind. From what I see looks like a good veterinarian hospital clinic. I haven't used them for our pets because they are a distance from our house but that doesn't make them bad at all. I have been going to Coral Veterinary Clinic for a long time. The remodeled office is beautiful. I have always felt the doctors and staff have gone above and beyond. When we lost 2 of our girls (1 to cancer at age 9, and 1 passed away at home at age 11), they were very patient and understanding. We received flowers and sympathy cards, which I was very touched by. We have our 14 year old girl still with us, and she's still spunky as ever. We have also used them to board as well, and it always puts me at ease knowing she's in good hands while we're away. We moved to Ft. Myers 3 years ago. Not knowing which vet to choose, realtor highly recommended Coral Vet. We boarded our 4 cats at the Cat Nap Inn for a week while getting our home ready. The staff is wonderful. They made my transition so easy and were so caring with our 12 year old cats! Our 1st experience was with Dr. Braun. She is so knowledgeable, is a great diagnostician, is easy to talk to, and takes time to explain things and make you feel better. She's cared for my cats and dog. Later, we had similar, very positive experiences with Dr. Curtis, Dr. Corbin, Dr. Oyer and Dr. Andazola. Dr. Oyer was very caring when having to euthanize one of my cats recently. Boarding my 11 year old Westie (for the 1st time) went really well. Most recently, Dr. Andazola performed ACL surgery on my dog. He explained everything so well and did a tremendous surgery. My first encounter with Coral was a sad one had to put down our 15 year old dog... They did an amazing job at comforting us and giving us time with her. I now take my puppy there and they treat him so good and are so patient with him (he's a brat) they keep me up to date with email reminders on shots and meds for Remmi. I love this place. I love this place! I've taken both my cats there, one for a check up because I saw spots on his belly that concerned me and Dr. Andazola saw him and was so sweet to him and explained everything to me in detail and it turned out to be nothing serious thank god! My other cat I take there to get groomed and she sees Cindy and loves her and she is so good with her and she stays calm and never meows the whole time and just lays there perfectly content! My dog Jake sees Dr. Nichols and he has always been thorough and competent. You can tell he is an animal lover! The front staff are very nice as well as professional and if needed you can always count on a quick appointment. Dr Nichol's assistant (can't remember her name!) If there were ten stars, I would have given it...WARNING: LONG POST - putting the best up front...Called Coral vet SANIBEL  in a desperate situation.  My dog was suffering from rotting front teeth. And YES I AM COMPLETELY responsible for this. There is NO reason that I should have allowed my dog's teeth to ROT. I COMPLETELY take full responsibilty for it. It's just that the breeder said, "Make sure you brush the BACK teeth." and so I did that. But I neglected the front teeth.  When my dog started licking his front beak intensely, I flipped up his front beak, much to his distress. I found that those front teeth were ROTTING. Really! ROTTING OUT. I felt like the worst DOG OWNER EVER! Called Coral vet and the receptionist talked me down off a ledge and told me I needed to bring my dog in within 45 minutes. And so I DID. The Doctor examined my li'l dog and reassured me that I was not to blame. They knew that I was leaving the island in a week and so ENSURED that li'l dog would actually UNDERGO an OPERATION THE FOLLOWING DAY. I Took him to the Coral Vet Clinic the following day. For some reason I was given 20 percent off the whole operation. They took out his teeth, gave me the meds he needed to take, and the WHOLE procedure cost lest that $400 bucks. They also clipped my dog's nails while he was under.  My dog is so happy and not the least a bit for wear. If I come back in another life, I want to come back as a staff member as Coral Vet Clinic. I've been taking my dog, Jolie, here since I got her as a puppy (a little over 2 years now). I was referred to the Coral Veterinary Clinic by my parents who take our family dog to see Dr. Braun. I can't speak for any of the other veterinarians, but my experience with Dr. Braun has been fantastic! She's always very attentive to Jolie's needs and takes her time assessing any problems. All of the veterinary assistants have been gentle with Jolie and have taken extra steps to make sure my dog (who is afraid of everything) is comfortable in the office. I am always greeted with a cheerful 'hello' and smile when I walk in the door. The wait times are never long and the office is always well kept. I've had a few emergency visits and the staff always assists me as best they can in getting Jolie in to see a veterinarian that day. Would recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone! We've been taking our dog here for about four years now and just love the place. It is small, but the service has always been outstanding and the facility is super clean. When our dog broke his leg a few years back. Dr. Oyer was always honest, kind and patient with our needs. Furthermore, even though we only come in maybe once or twice a year, he always remembers us and asks us specific questions about our lives (jobs, home, etc).
