Very pleased with my experience here! We're in the process of moving and don't have a vet here in Florida yet. My dog had an issue with his eye that needed to be checked so I called them since they were close to where we are staying. First off, they got us in the very next day to be seen. Second, I knew I wouldn't be able to go in with my dog who tends to have separation anxiety issues, but to my surprise the vet said she'd come out to us!! Rather then stress my boy out even more, she came out to my car and examined his eyes there ♥️♥️♥️. Thank you for taking such good care of Bennie for me!! Read Less

A few weeks ago I brought my 13 year old dog to be put down because she was very sick and almost unresponsive. The doctor was angelic. She took her time talking to us and gave us as much time as we needed. It was if she were caring for her own dog. A week after I received a personalized card from all of the staff. Just yesterday I received a condolence card from University of Florida letting me know that Daniels Parkway Animal Hospital had made a donation to their veterinary school in my dog's name, Bear Amber. BOARDERS BEWARE!!! This was the second time I boarded my dog here. The first time I guess I didn't notice the issue due to the 1/2 off promo for first time boarding. However today I saw the issue! I dropped my dog off Saturday around 11am I asked what time they would be open on Monday, they told me that they were not open due to New Years day. I said ok, I will pickup Tuesday at 8am. They then said if I wanted my dog to be bathed before going home they would have to do it Tuesday morning because no one would be there till then to do the bath. I said ok just call me when he is ready on Tuesday but it must be by 1pm. They said no problem. So today (Tuesday) I waited all morning for a call and nothing so I called at noon to see if my dog was ready to be picked up They told me he hadn't been bathed yet. They asked if I still wanted the bath. I told them I told them I needed to pick him up by 1. They replied ok, he will be ready by then. 1 rolls around and no call. I just go to pick my dog up. I pay and then while waiting for my dog I review the receipt. I ask the lady why am I being charged for 4 days, I dropped my dog off Saturday, and he isn't being boarded today. He stayed Sat Sun and Mon. The lady responded well today is Tuesday. I said yes but he is not staying here today. She then responded well it is after 1:00 and I replied but that is on you guys. I would of been here at 8 when you opened but you had no one here to bath my dog yesterday and when I called at noon you still hadn't given my dog at bath. The receptionist was silent so another receptionist jumped in and said well even if you were here at 8am to pick him up we still would of charged you for the whole day. So for my $238 Bill $90 was from Tuesday alone because I have a large dog he stays in the suites and his bath was $44 alone. THIS IS VERY BAD BUSINESS AND THEY ARE CHARGING FOR A SERVICE THAT WAS NOT GIVEN. Read Less

I have been taking my pets to Daniel's Parkway Animal Hospital for the last few years and I tell everyone who will listen, go see Dr. Hendon! The first time I met him he sat right on the floor and talked to me about my dogs, waiting for them to feel comfortable enough to walk up to him. He was kind and gentle, they immediately took to him. When my boxer was taken to the emergency vet Dr. Hendon's team called to check on her the next day immediately once the records were sent over, before I had even told them what happened. Dr. Hendon also gives his offices up to specialists once a week in order to make special care more easily available. (Side note: Dr. Ward, Dr. Sutton, and all the other wonderful people who make the drive to his office to provide that special care/treatment also deserve kudos and my special thanks for everything they did for me while my girl was receiving treatment). Not only is Dr. Hendon great, he also has a team of rockstars. Rainy was there for me when my boxer got sick and took care of me when it was time to put her down when Dr. Hendon was out of town. Recently she made a point to come out and say hi when she'd heard I adopted a new family member. Marlin is also great! He's always checking on the kids and greets them when they come in the door, even if he's busy. There is also Marni who works in grooming and would come out and greet my boxer even though she had never been groomed. She knew her name and her situation and genuinely cared about her wellbeing. All of them remember your pet, remember their personalities and their needs, and take the time to cater to them to make their already stressful visit as easy as possible. I constantly say the reason I can't move away is because I don't want to lose the support from them. Truly freaking awesome people who are in this field because they love animals. I feel like they care about your pets like they do their own.Read Less

They are extremely happy to see my cats and they always take their time to listen to my concerns. I've never had to wait for an appointment. If I have an urgent matter(especially having a kitten) they will accommodate me immediately. They give my cats treats while they are there (so going to the vet isn't so bad) and even if I just bring in one cat they always send home 3 toys for all of the cats. I will never go to another vet! Would give this no stars if it was possible. I brought my Siberian Husky/Wolf hybrid in on 11/16/15 to be groomed and get her annual shots. She hadn't been groomed in some time and her fur was overgrown. She also had a messy backside from going to the bathroom and it hitting the fur. I tried as well as I could to clean and cut the area before I dropped her off. I told the groomer I wanted her trimmed. She kept saying shave, and I said only her backside can be shaved. I repeatedly told her trim, not shave. I kept touching her back and saying No shaving here. She finally said trim so I let my dog go with her. Received a phone call hours later telling me that she was being difficult and could not finish the job. Also stated there would be no charge. When I picked her up, I paid the bill ($180.00) but they did not give me a receipt so I don't know if I was charged. I had to get back to work so I just left with her even though she was shaved. Called the same day before they closed to say I did not ask for her to be shaved. They seemed confused and eventually said they would check with the groomer and I would get a call back. As of this moment, they have not called. That was Monday and it is Friday. My dog had 3 layers of fur and looked like a white and black wolf. Her head, part of her neck, her chest, tail and 3 legs were not shaved. The shaving on her back is uneven. She was shaved so close around her private parts that it looked like she was cut but the groomer had already said that would happen because the blood was coming up to the skin? For 3 days she did nothing but look sad. She also looked like she was in pain when she walked. She also had loose stools for days afterwards because of the trauma. Last night was the first night she seemed to be herself. Why would I want to shave my dog when winter is coming? What I want to make sure that this does not happen to any other animal owner or their pet!!! I want is a form made that the customer must sign approving the shaving. Since it was verbal, it is not documented. They need a form that says if you want your animal shaved and where. It would also helped if they cared enough to call me back! I will never go back and tell everyone who sees my dog who did this to her and not to go there for grooming. Read Less

This animal clinic always has openings for obvious reasons.  I was charged 36.20 for seven antibiotics which you can order online for 1.60 for 100.  36.20 also (same price-interesting) for eyedrops which sell for about 15.00.  The tech was abrupt and crude.  The vet seemed annoyed and was very condescending.  He  made it clear that he probably wouldn't be able to cure the ulcer but proceeded to rip me off on medicine and "advice" all for 202.00.  Needless to say the kittens ulcer has not responded and I am headed to a specialist which is what an ethical vet would have done immediately Read Less

I have been to this animal clinic 4 times, and finally became disgusted with their practices. The first two times I was taking in my cat for regular checkups, and each time it cost me 400 bucks just to get out of the door. Nothing fancey was done, just a 400.00 fee. The 3rd time was for a spaying of 2nd cat and shots. 400 bucks once again. 4th and last time, we had found a kitten that had been abandoned, and someone had run over the cat's tail. It was dead material (I know how horrible this sounds, imagine how it looked and must have felt for kitty) so we took her in to have the dead material removed, and baby shots. WHAM!! 400 dollars. This last time I complained, because not only was it 400.00 dollars...again, but when looking at itemized bill, they had charged me for several services I know they had not performed. When I brought this to the receptionist's attention, she simply rolled her eyes, and took the bill back and removed these charges. All in all, I will NEVER use this clinic again. We had only gone there because we had just moved to this area, and knew of no other vets close by. Since this time, we have used several other doctors, all much better and not unscrupulous in their practice. Plus, the fees we have been charged from other doctors are less than half-for same services! And the rating Google asked of me? (Poor to Fair) NOT Fair- POOR is the only rating I would give these shisters.Read Less

If I have an urgent matter(especially having a kitten) they will accommodate me immediately.
