I've been taking my rescue fur-babies to Eastside Animal Hospital for over 25 years. They are true kind, compassionate animal lovers. Dr. Bowers is very through in his examinations and explains his diagnosis and instructions in plain language. The staff are very friendly, gentle with the animals in their care and accommodating. The facilities are clean and well kept.

The doctors and staff at Eastside Animal hospital are all truly amazing people. They treat my fur babies like they would their own OR BETTER! Adrienne (The oil that makes this machine work) and Dr. Bowers specifically, however all of the staff are phenomenal. I wouldn't trust my babies lives to ANY NONE else in the area. And once you take your babies there, I know that you won't either.

I had not found a vet for my very old cat when I moved to Fort Myers. My cat became very ill and I contacted Eastside. The person that took my call was so kind and compassionate. My cat was in heart failure and his organs were shutting down. We did not want him in pain and made the difficult decision to euthanize him. The staff were so kind and gave sweet Jazz a shot to relax him and knock him out. He was able to be in my arms while going to sleep his final time. They allowed this to be private time with us and Jazz. Making the decision to put a long loved companion down is one of the most difficult decisions I have ever made. I thank the staff at Eastside Animal Hospital for providing us support and kindness; despite the fact, we weren't established with their office.

I been taking my pets to Dr. Bowers for the past 21 years , always great, They have treated me and my pets like family , whenever I had to take care of the decision of euthanasia they were caring and compassionate Dr. Bowers as well as the Staff, Adrienne Clinic Manager is great , She's always helping ant trying to save every single pet. I Just trust them so much and I am about 25 miles away from the clinic , I still drive there for my pets. Thank you Dr. Bowers and his staff for all your hard work and Kindness to our precious fur family.

Only 1 star because zero stars is not an option!! Misdiagnosis. Last Monday we took our pet in for projectile vomiting. Dr. Bowers came in, poked her along her spine, no signs of pain but was diagnosed with back pain; prescribed Prednisone, muscle relaxer, recommended laser therapy at their office, given injections and told to bring her back in on Friday if not better. Vomiting continued, office not open on Thursday, referred to Small Animal Hospital. The Veterinarian at Small Animal Hospital listened to her symptoms (same symptoms, same explanation given to Dr. Bowers) and immediately felt she had an obstruction , ordered x-rays, confirmed the suspicion and was taken in for Emergency surgery. Thankfully she is home recovering now.

The staff at Eastside have taken great care of our permanent pets and more transient patients (feral cats) that I can count for at least 10 years. My wife bless her heart would rescue neighborhood strays, get them shots & fixed and find homes. They now care of Baxter, my personal rescue dog. We rescued each other. When he blew the 1st knee Dr. Bowers expedited initial care, diagnosis and guidance to the right specialist. Baxter has new back knees. He's still a high maintenance dog like his master (right Adrian lol), requiring frequent visits and the care level is always consistently great. I highly recommend!.

Good care for your pet. Although all Vets are way to expensive these days. They charge like a Human Doctor and don't have nearly as much overhead. This one is no different.

From birth to death, many different animals. They are kind and the utmost professional. We have never had a problem. Each time we visit we believe our animal was given the best possible care, and not overbilled either.

Best care I have ever received. I have a 9 year old Chihuahua that has never been diagnosed until Dr Bowers. My dog was in chronic pain for over a year. He and his staff are the best. Absolutely wonderful staff, vets, et al. I have had numerous dogs over the past 20 years. All of them were Eastside clients. They have helped me through having old dogs euthanized and adopting new fur babies. They truly care for animals and people. They have shared my sorrow and my joy. Chloe and I feel like we are visiting family when she makes her scheduled visits.

Unlike so many hospitals or clinics that "require" certain tests and procedures, which is nothing more than a veiled attempt at increasing their overall "take" from every patient visit, these folks are compassionate and understand that there are a lot of folks that have and love their pets, not everyone has deep pockets. They provide great veterinary expertise and care as well as being affordable. I pass at least 5 other vets to get to these folks, one of which is about a half mile from my house.HIGHLY recommend.

One sad experience, one better experience. The sad was that our little Westie had to be euthanized. She was near 15 and had a wonderful life. The wonderful people at Eastside were caring, thoughtful, compassionate and grieved with us. It made it a little easier for us.
Then we took our Doxie for a first time visit. Same wonderful care and professionalism. We love the staff and the way they run their business. Thanks Folks!!!

The most amazing people at the most amazing Animal Hospital EVER! We love them and they love our Fur Babies! I lost my Rotty to Cardiac Problem at this Hospital and I mourned for 3 hours while they comforted me. As a matter of Fact to get my Boy there I had to go to the Hospital and pick up a tech and a stretcher, the tech came TO OUR HOME, and Helped me load him into the Van and get my baby back for help. They WERE and ARE Amazing people! Dr. Bowers is A TRUE Animal LOVER!

I've been taking my rescue fur-babies to Eastside Animal Hospital for over 25 years. They are true kind, compassionate animal lovers. Dr. Bowers is very through in his examinations and explains his diagnosis and instructions in plain language. The staff are very friendly, gentle with the animals in their care and accommodating. I had not found a vet for my very old cat when I moved to Fort Myers. My cat became very ill and I contacted Eastside. The person that took my call was so kind and compassionate. My cat was in heart failure and his organs were shutting down. We did not want him in pain and made the difficult decision to euthanize him. The staff at Eastside have taken great care of our permanent pets and more transient patients (feral cats) that I can count for at least 10 years. Unlike so many hospitals or clinics that "require" certain tests and procedures, which is nothing more than a veiled attempt at increasing their overall "take" from every patient visit, these folks are compassionate and understand that there are a lot of folks that have and love their pets, not everyone has deep pockets. They provide great veterinary expertise and care as well as being affordable. I pass at least 5 other vets to get to these folks, one of which is about a half mile from my house.HIGHLY recommend.
