God help if you go there and you did not make an appointment.. then you are already in the whole for bunch of money... Then they cannot tell you what is wrong with your animal ...but you pay your six ...
God help if you go there and you did not make an appointment.. then you are already in the whole for bunch of money... Then they cannot tell you what is wrong with your animal ...but you pay your six to seven hundred anyway... Stay away... I think we all take our pets to the doctor more than we take ourselves so they should lower the cost for an animal... It's ridiculous the amount we have to pay... Help us out .they are my family..

My bulldog, Porkchop, recently had a soft tissue removal done. It turned out to be much more involved than originally thought. The Doc was very thorough in calling and explaining things to me and making sure I understood. The incision and penrose drains where placed perfectly and Porkchop doesn't even notice! While she was under the techs trimmed her nails as well. I truly value and appreciate the staff here everyone is considerate, knowledgeable, and concerned for your pets safety and well being. Thank you guys so much Porkchop and I couldn't have done it without ya!

I took my 11 month old German Shepherd in because she was peeing a lot. They took a urine sample off the floor of the vets office when she got excited and let a little out. The doctor then proceeded to spend the whole time telling me how to train my dog, rather than helping her feel better. They filled a prescription without telling me how much it was going to cost and told me she had a simple UTI. $140 later I took her home. Three days later I came home from my day at work and she was passed away on my couch. I wish the doctor would have spent more time caring about her health and less time telling me how to get her to stop jumping. Would never recommend. If it wasn't for them missing something/screwing up, I would still have my puppy.

With an emergency surgery needed for our baby, we felt at ease knowing he was in good hands! The staff is very nice and caring, they love on your pet as if it were their own. Updated us multiple times...
With an emergency surgery needed for our baby, we felt at ease knowing he was in good hands! The staff is very nice and caring, they love on your pet as if it were their own. Updated us multiple times over the phone to let us know how our pup was doing. When we brought him back the next day for more care after surgery they knew exactly who he was, took him with open arms, and showed him some love! Very satisfied with all the staff! Thanks for all you do! Hopefully we won't have to come back, but if needed, we know where to go!

Whether giving me advice over the phone or helping me with my rescue/foster dogs, they always give me 100% and with a smile! Dr. Skov is no nonsense, extremely professional but also very compassionate! I just adore all the lovely ladies who help him! I would never consider anywhere else to board my dogs either! The personal attention and care my dogs receive are unmatched by anyone else and the peace of mind they give me is priceless! Thank you for looking after all my furry babies for going on 12 years! A truly wonderful experience! Dr Mark Huff spent a long time with us developing a plan to manage and also get to the root cause of our dog's yeast problems. It was the perfect combination of effective drugs and holistic healing modalities; he has been practicing for 30 years and was well-versed in both. Erika was our wonderful technician and it's clear the staff love animals and love their jobs. I'm not sure what we used to pay at our former vet, but the prices seemed very reasonable and they definitely seem more knowledgable and spend more time at San Carlos Park Animal Hospital.

A truly wonderful experience! Dr Mark Huff spent a long time with us developing a plan to manage and also get to the root cause of our dog's yeast problems. It was the perfect combination of effective drugs and holistic healing modalities; he has been practicing for 30 years and was well-versed in both. I used Dr Skov years ago and remember being very impressed by him as well. Erika was our wonderful technician and it's clear the staff love both the animals and their jobs. I'm not sure what we used to pay at our former vet, but the prices seemed very reasonable (Exam $63, Rabies vaccine $32) and they definitely seem more knowledgable and spend more time at San Carlos Park Animal Hospital than our former vet.

My wife & I have taken our dogs to these wonderful people for over 20 years. They have always done everything to make our visits an extremely pleasant experience. From cheerful greetings when we call, to prompt appointments when needed. They have shared sympathy and compassion when senior children reach the end of their days with us. Dr.Skov treats us like "friends&family" and answers any and all of our questions. The Best !!

With an emergency surgery needed for our baby, we felt at ease knowing he was in good hands! The staff is very nice and caring, they love on your pet as if it were their own. Updated us multiple times...
With an emergency surgery needed for our baby, we felt at ease knowing he was in good hands! The staff is very nice and caring, they love on your pet as if it were their own. Updated us multiple times over the phone to let us know how our pup was doing. When we brought him back the next day for more care after surgery they knew exactly who he was, took him with open arms, and showed him some love! Very satisfied with all the staff! Thanks for all you do! Hopefully we won't have to come back, but if needed, we know where to go!

Whether giving me advice over the phone or helping me with my rescue/foster dogs, they always give me 100% and with a smile! Dr. Skov is no nonsense, extremely professional but also very compassionate! I just adore all the lovely ladies who help him! I would never consider anywhere else to board my dogs either! The personal attention and care my dogs receive are unmatched by anyone else and the peace of mind they give me is priceless! Thank you for looking after all my furry babies for going on 12 years! They have all seen us through the best of times and the worst of times with our dogs and have showed kindness and compassion in every instance. We wouldn't trust our dogs with anyone else!

A truly wonderful experience! Dr Mark Huff spent a long time with us developing a plan to manage and also get to the root cause of our dog's yeast problems. It was the perfect combination of effective drugs and holistic healing modalities; he has been practicing for 30 years and was well-versed in both. Erika was our wonderful technician and it's clear the staff love animals and love their jobs. I'm not sure what we used to pay at our former vet, but the prices seemed very reasonable and they definitely seem more knowledgable and spend more time at San Carlos Park Animal Hospital.

A truly wonderful experience! Dr Mark Huff spent a long time with us developing a plan to manage and also get to the root cause of our dog's yeast problems. It was the perfect combination of effective drugs and holistic healing modalities; he has been practicing for 30 years and was well-versed in both. I used Dr Skov years ago and remember being very impressed by him as well. Erika was our wonderful technician and it's clear the staff love both the animals and their jobs. I'm not sure what we used to pay at our former vet, but the prices seemed very reasonable (Exam $63, Rabies vaccine $32) and they definitely seem more knowledgable and spend more time at San Carlos Park Animal Hospital than our former vet.
