Our Scottish Terrier has a history of liver problems and she was finally diagnosed with Cushions Disease, but before she was diagnose with the disease she became gravely ill with symptoms of not eating, lethargic and overall not moving, we rushed her to Animal Emergency and Referral Center, and this all happened on a Sunday morning, our Baby (that's her name) was becoming worst by the minute, the vet and his assistance were wonderful with her, they ran test and the vet said that Baby had Pancreatic Disease, and a swollen liver also, she was in so much pain, but they quickly gave her pain meds and honestly told us that she may not make it through the night. I prayed that night for our Baby. The vet ask us if we were willing to have Baby be treated with their Pet Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and emergency meds, we agreed, so I called the vet on Monday evening, I was told by the vet to call in the evening so that I could speak to him directly, I was also great full that I didn't get an overnight call that our Baby passed. Well when I spoke to the vet Monday evening he was full of Great News, our Baby was recovering beautifully, he said she was begging for food, sitting up and anxiously wanting to hang out with everyone, we were able to visit Baby and when she came out to see us it truly was a miracle we had our Baby back. (I was a little concern when we visited Baby, because she would have rather hang out with the vet and his assistance ) So, we were finally able to bring Baby home and to follow up with our vet, but honestly, I would have loved if the vet that saved her life could be Baby's vet. Baby is doing well, she on medication for her Cushions Disease, and we will be celebrating her 14th Birthday this August.Read Less
