I have 4 chinchillas. One has dental problems. I raised her from a baby, she is 7 years old. I took her to Dr Patrick. He and Dr Sherry are so compassionate, caring, and go above and beyond. Dr Patrick takes his time to answer all my questions and returns all my calls. He and Dr Sherry are very knowledgeable, caring about my chinchilla, which her name is Girly girl. And they are very reasonable. I drive 45 minutes, and it is worth it, to get excellent and compassionate care for my Girly girl, she is so sweet.I cannot say enough about this family practice. They are great.

Both doctors here are WONDERFUL. It is a family practice, with just Dr. Sherry and Dr. Patrick. Unlike other places I have been, the same two doctors are consistently available for appointments. Dr. Sherry helped get my boxer through a very bad bout of digestive issues, and Dr. Pat provides excellent care to my cockatiels. Their knowledge is so extensive, and they are so gentle and loving with my pets. It is so nice to see people who truly love what they do, and treat their patients as family. I trust them completely with my pets.

I brought my very sick cockatiel to Dr. Pat. He was very experienced with birds and handled him well. He was extremely resonable about treatment and cost. The exam was only $50, the fecal culture was $30 and the meds $35. He spent the time explaining everything and called me a week later to see how my bird was doing. I would recommend this vet over anyone else in Gainesville!
