Wonderful experience. When another Vet gave me no options but to remive my dog's eye, I found another Vet that referred me to this doctor & his office in Gainesville. Dr. Mangan had my dog scheduled for eye surgery the next day. Very pleasant and compassionate staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Mangan to anyone having a pet with eye issues. His follow-ups were all done closer to me near The Villages so no hour-long drive involved. Nine weeks out and my dog is doing great and has vision again.

Excellent reception area. DR Clemmons explained problem with my dog and showed excellent knowledge of surgical procedure. All went as planned and I will recommend this facilities highly.

The eye Doctor who saw my grumpy senior dog was fantastic! This was our first and only visit and I was more then pleased. She has been into see a bunch of different vets almost twice a week for the past three months but the doctor and tech took their time and got her to cooroperate for her first eye exam. Even she started to pull away and not listen they paused the exam and found ways to make her comfortable again. I highly recommend this facility. You will love them.

Our one year old puppy Louie began scratching more than I thought was normal. I immediately called Dr Lewis at IVS. We booked an appointment and after a through evaluation Dr Lewis recommended that we switch our flea and tick medication and the frequency of it's use and recommended an anti-itch shampoo. The shampoo was soothing and calming and made his coat shiny and soft. Dr Lewis made a follow up call two weeks after the appointment to check on Louie's status and no further appointments were necessary. Once again, Dr Lewis was able to help us with Louie as she had in the past with our dog Cobie, thank you Dr Lewis!

Our dog Finnegan was very ill and we knew that dispite the distance that he would get the best care here. Luckily he was strong enough to take the ride up to Gainesville. When we arrived the staff was very helpful, truly concerned, and immediately began to provide care. They did not release him to go home until they felt comfortable he was strong enough to take the ride safely. Luckily, after a few hours of treatment they felt confident he was able to make the trip. They established a daily regiment of medication and gave us the drugs necessary and dosage instructions. A couple days later he has improved greatly. Niki and I will be forever grateful for the highly professional care they provided Finnegan. He is an important member of our family and deserves nothing less than the best care available. Again, Niki and I thank the Doctor and all the staff from the bottom of our hearts for taking care of our little man.

This place was recommend by my vet and a friend had a good experience with her dog who had hart problems. So I was surprised to have such an unpleasant experience. Dr. Lewis basicly just brags about herself. Shows little to no interest in my dog then puts me on the same medication he has already been on that hasn't worked, just at a MUCH higher cost. I am OVER IT. This review may be blocked, if not, do yourself a favor an check the 'not recommended reviews' at the bottom of the page.

Wonderful experience. When another Vet gave me no options but to remive my dog's eye, I found another Vet that referred me to this doctor & his office in Gainesville. Dr. Mangan had my dog scheduled for eye surgery the next day. Very pleasant and compassionate staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Mangan to anyone having a pet with eye issues. The eye Doctor who saw my grumpy senior dog was fantastic! This was our first and only visit and I was more then pleased. She has been into see a bunch of different vets almost twice a week for the past three months but the doctor and tech took their time and got her to cooroperate for her first eye exam. Even she started to pull away and not listen they paused the exam and found ways to make her comfortable again. I highly recommend this facility. You will love them.

Our dog Finnegan was very ill and we knew that dispite the distance that he would get the best care here. Luckily he was strong enough to take the ride up to Gainesville. When we arrived the staff was very helpful, truly concerned, and immediately began to provide care. They did not release him to go home until they felt comfortable he was strong enough to take the ride safely. Luckily, after a few hours of treatment they felt confident he was able to make the trip.
