Terrible , Kati Hill is a terrible heartless person, my dog was rushed in emergency situation having trouble breathing she is a senior 6 pounds, i was frantic my husband was driving as fast as possible to see what options we had, or possibly putting her down we just didnt know, i was told to stay in back with my pet to keep her calm , right as i got results heart failure , lung issue dr recommended bariatric oxygen room my husband was coming to go over pricing and check on his beloved bella, i noticed time i said i have to run get my boys they are 8 and 10 school had released them, desk clerk asked for a deposit i said i left in a panic i didnt even grab my wallet that we would pay in full when we got with dr, we have been there previously paid close to 2000, was given a list of fees and options we assumed thats how it was going to work, well we showed up at same time i go to take husband back to where they had me previously keeping dog calm, i was greeted very rudely by Kati Hill manager at all 4 locations very rudely yelling you cant see your dog you left without paying , I left to get my kids from school drove back immediately , my dog was in serious condition i came back to go over treatment options i was frantic to get my kids and get back to my dog, she then called police only after i told her i was calling them to see my pet, she lied said they were afraid for her life which was bull i was frantically crying we just wanted to sit with our dog and go over options to save her life or do humane thing if treatment wasnt a option , she assumed we were gonna run out door with a sick dog meanwhile we had 2 vehicles , 2 children waiting to see their dog, she yelled we were not customers there we have been going for 15 years, its not my fault reception created multiple accounts, they should be aware people love animals and were terrified and to accuse us of snatching our sick dog off oxygen and running is crazy , then she was not going to let us buy heart meds for our dog, or give us xrays even though we paid 300, thankfully the police officer asked and said its only fair, they promised to email xrays 3 hours later i still didnt have them, i had to call police again this time he said were not leaving untill she has email, i requested owner call me he never did they are lying saying this is under investigation with police thats crazy the officer was shocked himself , i am driving a 60,000 car my husband a 45,000 truck, we our local business owners and treated like this, this could happen to anyone under emergency situation , please beware

The staff and doctors here are very caring, professional, and knowledgeable. I lost my first kitten, Hennessy, to Feline Leukemia after having him for only a few weeks and the whole crew at the hospital were so nice to ask how I am doing even after the passing and even wrote me a touching card for condolences. I also had my other cat that I got weeks later, Tigger, cared at this hospital and they gave me so much confidence of being a responsible cat owner. Hardly did I have to run to the emergency because they were always accessible by phone or email and their health reminder service helped me keep my pet current on vaccinations, exams, etc. Thank you so much for your excellent service!

I adopted a senior dog a month ago from the shelter and for various reasons, we have had to come to Newberry about once a week since I brought him home. The staff here is so wonderful and caring. They are very thorough when describing procedures to be carried out at home and they are very gentle with my old man. I will easily be taking my pupper here for the remainder of his life. You guys rock!

Came here for the first time and was kindly greeted and taken care of quickly. Maybe even a little earlier than my appointment. I love that they have the names of all the pets they're helping that day displayed on a board when you walk in. I've never experienced such professional and kind staff at a vet before. They explained everything clear and thoroughly. I've had some horrible experiences in the past and I could never see that happening here. They took such good care of my baby and I will definitely be making this her only veterinarian. You can tell these employees really love what they're doing. Great job!

I love that they have the names of all the pets they're helping that day displayed on a board when you walk in. I've never experienced such professional and kind staff at a vet before. They explained everything clear and thoroughly. I've had some horrible experiences in the past and I could never see that happening here. They took such good care of my baby and I will definitely be making this her only veterinarian. You can tell these employees really love what they're doing. Great job!

The staff here is awesome! They are super sweet and very well organized. This is the first vet office that had a welcome packet for my dog and I as well as a chalk board with all the pets they have appointments for the day. I've never had to wait past my scheduled appointment time, and i always get a call back with in the hour (Depending on the call.) I absolutely love this facility and highly recommend them to everyone. They are amazing and will care for your pet the way you do!

Had an awesome first experience here the other day. My cats are very sweet but like many other animals aren't very fond of the vet. The staff at Newberry on Main really took care of them both and helped to ease my anxiety as well. They gave them kitty massages and sprayed the room down with some calming pheromones. I also liked the size of the office as it is more intimate than a lot of other vet offices. From reception to meeting the actual doctor, I felt like they actually cared about providing good, knowledgeable care for my cats. I will definitely be returning and would recommend them, especially for fussy kitties.

This is my Gainesville vet for my cat, Ocho. I really love it here - the vets and employees are all very nice, despite Ocho being very stubborn. They always know how to handle him even though he is a very strong Bengal. The first time I brought him here, they gave me a cute little care package to take home filled with sample cat food and flyers and other goodies. I also get email updates every now and then; they wished Ocho a happy birthday via email when he turned three. Appointments here are very easy to make - it's just a phone call away. I've called really early before for a same day checkup and they managed to squeeze me in flawlessly.You can really tell that the workers here care and that your pet is in good hands.

I rushed my cat in 10 minutes before they closed with a nasty eye trauma and Dr. M and her tech Dawn were so amazing and eager to help. They were very caring with my cat and made me feel like I was in full control of her treatment. Dawn was very attentive to my concerns and helped with whatever she could during my visit. After an exam, tests, and a blood draw the bill was very reasonable. Even 45 minutes after closing, these two were such a pleasure to work with, when I'm sure the rest of the staff was not happy with me. I will be returning to them for all of my animal needs in the future and will recommend them to everyone!

I recently started going to Newberry Animal Hospital after the addition of a puppy to my family. I was relatively new to the whole taking care of a dog thing but the vet techs were there with me every step of the way, making sure my dog has all the right medications to face whatever the world throws at him. There is never a wait when I set appointments and the techs really seem to care about the wellbeing of my pup.

What a great office! After adopting my dog Tessa, I took her to this vet to be seen. First of all, the woman working the front desk (I think her name is Kaitlyn) is SO NICE. Such a sweet voice to have on the other end of the phone when you call and a great person to greet you when you walk in. The techs are great and Dr. M is FANTASTIC! She is so knowledgable, easy to talk to and you can tell she really loves what she does. I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room or the exam room. I called the other day because Tessa had developed a cough and I was very worried. When I called, they asked me if I wanted to come right then. It was 5pm! I was SO grateful. Tessa got the antibiotics she needed and is doing so much better! I really love this office and all the staff and will recommend it to anyone I know with a pet. Thank you for being so great to Tessa and I!

On Friday, my wife and I had to put our cat Nala down. She was 19 years old. I want to thank everyone at the Newberry location for always taking such good care of her. She received fluid therapy 3x/week for about 3 years. The whole staff was always so friendly and kind when I would bring Nala in to be treated. I highly recommend their services for any pet owners!

I immediately took him to NAH and Dr. Baltzley made the time to check him over. He took the time to give my little "Sunny" a much needed exam (NOT a quick visit) and made sure that I had a plan for Sunny's future.
Sunny got his ears, eyes, heart, skin, teeth, gums, vaccinations, and general health reviewed. This was all done with a loving touch and at a very reasonable cost.
How can I praise this team enough? All I can say is "thanks for taking such an interest in such a forlorn little guy. His future is so much "sunnier" due to you and your team!

While this review is never easy, I want to rave about how amazing this place is. I had to put my sweet pug down, who I loved so much. The staff went out of their way to get me in at the latest time possible. (I called the morning of.) they let me spend as much time with her and treated her so well. While I was crying my eyes out they were all so sweet. A few days after I received a handwritten sympathy card in the mail. I can't say enough good things about this vet.

Thank you Dr. Stanley, Dr. M, and staff for the kind thoughts, it brighten my day. I found that if given time the Pet & Master relationship disappears and a real and loving friendship emerges. I had that friendship for 13 years with Snowball. I will miss him . Thanks for helping me bring his suffering to an end, It was done in a loving and caring way.

We love LOVE Dr. Stanley so much, but also Dr. Doll, Dr. M and all of the techs. They are always very reasonable with their pricing and don't do un-necessary things to jack up your bill. The only vet and the official vet of Earth Pets of Gainesville Kitten Nursery.

Absolutely fantastic staff and service. Dr. M took care of my dog bff Rajah when we went in after she stopped eating. Sadly she had major kidney failure and I had to let her go. But the whole time the staff was compassionate and brought a blanket for her to lay on as we stayed with her till the end. AND THEN I get a condolences CARD in the mail that the whole staff signed. So, so sweet. Their prices were affordable as well. Thank you Dr. M and company.

I can't say enough about the staff at Newberry Animal Hospital. My first encounter with them, sadly, had to be to help our 13 year old Affenpinscher over the rainbow bridge, due to his failing health from recently diagnosed liver cancer. I used to show dogs, as a hobby, and professionally. Unfortunately, as a breeder, I was not a stranger to having to say goodbye to beloved pets. I can tell you, in no uncertain terms, I have never been met with a more thoughtful, and empathetic staff. Never before, have I been allowed to hold my dog during that difficult time (always made to leave them on the metal exam table). To be able to cradle the little dog in my arms that had been born into my hands 13 years ago, and show him that final act of compassion and love, means more to me than I could ever say. And now, I am a client for life. I will bring my furry family members to the people who make me feel like they care about my pets, as much as I do. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

I absolutely love it here. My dog had surgery at the Newberry location and the surgery went exceptionally well. She had to be seen immediately due to her condition and they were able to take her right away. The cost of the surgery was half the price of the UF Animal Hospital, which was a relieve to my bank account. I had to get my dog checked up multiple times following surgery and was told I could go to the one on Maine since it was closer and the staff there is amazing. Everyone is so helpful, friendly, and caring. The check ups and follow ups were all inclusive with my dog's surgery payment, so I didn't have to pay for those visits. The veterinarian was extremely helpful with any concerns and questions I had. Overall, a great experience and I will continue to go to them for any of my pet's needs. I love my pets and I can see they genuinely care for everyone's pets too. I highly recommend this place and truly trust them with my pets

I would recommend this vet office to anyone in Gainesville with pets. You can tell they truly care and the service is exceptional. They always call to check up on my dog after a visit, wish him happy birthday, and call with lab results in a timely manner. They always get my dog in right away and the exams are reasonably priced and cheaper than most other vets, and when I had to take me dog to an emergency after hours clinic, they scheduled a check up for him for no cost. We never have to wait more than a couple minutes in the waiting room and the vets and vet techs really make sure you understand what's going on. Would really encourage anyone looking for a new veterinary office to check them out.

Terrible , Kati Hill is a terrible heartless person, my dog was rushed in emergency situation having trouble breathing she is a senior 6 pounds, i was frantic my husband was driving as fast as possible to see what options we had, or possibly putting her down we just didnt know, i was told to stay in back with my pet to keep her calm , right as i got results heart failure , lung issue dr recommended bariatric oxygen room my husband was coming to go over pricing and check on his beloved bella, i noticed time i said i have to run get my boys they are 8 and 10 school had released them, desk clerk asked for a deposit i said i left in a panic i didnt even grab my wallet that we would pay in full when we got with dr, we have been there previously paid close to 2000, was given a list of fees and options we assumed thats how it was going to work, well we showed up at same time i go to take husband back to where they had me previously keeping dog calm, i was greeted very rudely by Kati Hill manager at all 4 locations very rudely yelling you cant see your dog you left without paying , I left to get my kids from school drove back immediately , my dog was in serious condition i came back to go over treatment options i was frantic to get my kids and get back to my dog, she then called police only after i told her i was calling them to see my pet, she lied said they were afraid for her life which was bull i was frantically crying we just wanted to sit with our dog and go over options to save her life or do humane thing if treatment wasnt a option , she assumed we were gonna run out door with a sick dog meanwhile we had 2 vehicles , 2 children waiting to see their dog, she yelled we were not customers there we have been going for 15 years, its not my fault reception created multiple accounts, they should be aware people love animals and were terrified and to accuse us of snatching our sick dog off oxygen and running is crazy , then she was not going to let us buy heart meds for our dog, or give us xrays even though we paid 300, thankfully the police officer asked and said its only fair, they promised to email xrays 3 hours later i still didnt have them, i had to call police again this time he said were not leaving untill she has email, i requested owner call me he never did they are lying saying this is under investigation with police thats crazy the officer was shocked himself , i am driving a 60,000 car my husband a 45,000 truck, we our local business owners and treated like this, this could happen to anyone under emergency situation , please beware

The staff and doctors here are very caring, professional, and knowledgeable. I lost my first kitten, Hennessy, to Feline Leukemia after having him for only a few weeks and the whole crew at the hospital were so nice to ask how I am doing even after the passing and even wrote me a touching card for condolences. I also had my other cat that I got weeks later, Tigger, cared at this hospital and they gave me so much confidence of being a responsible cat owner. Hardly did I have to run to the emergency because they were always accessible by phone or email and their health reminder service helped me keep my pet current on vaccinations, exams, etc. Thank you so much for your excellent service!

I adopted a senior dog a month ago from the shelter and for various reasons, we have had to come to Newberry about once a week since I brought him home. The staff here is so wonderful and caring. They are very thorough when describing procedures to be carried out at home and they are very gentle with my old man. I will easily be taking my pupper here for the remainder of his life. You guys rock!

Came here for the first time and was kindly greeted and taken care of quickly. Maybe even a little earlier than my appointment. I love that they have the names of all the pets they're helping that day displayed on a board when you walk in. I've never experienced such professional and kind staff at a vet before. They explained everything clear and thoroughly. I've had some horrible experiences in the past and I could never see that happening here. They took such good care of my baby and I will definitely be making this her only veterinarian. You can tell these employees really love what they're doing. Great job!

Came here for the first time and was kindly greeted and taken care of quickly. Maybe even a little earlier than my appointment. I love that they have the names of all the pets they're helping that day displayed on a board when you walk in. I've never experienced such professional and kind staff at a vet before. They explained everything clear and thoroughly. I've had some horrible experiences in the past and I could never see that happening here. They took such good care of my baby and I will definitely be making this her only veterinarian. You can tell these employees really love what they're doing. Great job!

The staff here is awesome! They are super sweet and very well organized. This is the first vet office that had a welcome packet for my dog and I as well as a chalk board with all the pets they have appointments for the day. I've never had to wait past my scheduled appointment time, and i always get a call back with in the hour (Depending on the call.) I absolutely love this facility and highly recommend them to everyone. They are amazing and will care for your pet the way you do!

Had an awesome first experience here the other day. My cats are very sweet but like many other animals aren't very fond of the vet. The staff at Newberry on Main really took care of them both and helped to ease my anxiety as well. They gave them kitty massages and sprayed the room down with some calming pheromones. I also liked the size of the office as it is more intimate than a lot of other vet offices. From reception to meeting the actual doctor, I felt like they actually cared about providing good, knowledgeable care for my cats. I will definitely be returning and would recommend them, especially for fussy kitties.

This is my Gainesville vet for my cat, Ocho. I really love it here - the vets and employees are all very nice, despite Ocho being very stubborn. They always know how to handle him even though he is a very strong Bengal. The first time I brought him here, they gave me a cute little care package to take home filled with sample cat food and flyers and other goodies. I also get email updates every now and then; they wished Ocho a happy birthday via email when he turned three. Appointments here are very easy to make - it's just a phone call away. I've called really early before for a same day checkup and they managed to squeeze me in flawlessly.You can really tell that the workers here care and that your pet is in good hands.

I rushed my cat in 10 minutes before they closed with a nasty eye trauma and Dr. M and her tech Dawn were so amazing and eager to help. They were very caring with my cat and made me feel like I was in full control of her treatment. Dawn was very attentive to my concerns and helped with whatever she could during my visit. After an exam, tests, and a blood draw the bill was very reasonable. Even 45 minutes after closing, these two were such a pleasure to work with, when I'm sure the rest of the staff was not happy with me. I will be returning to them for all of my animal needs in the future and will recommend them to everyone!

I recently started going to Newberry Animal Hospital after the addition of a puppy to my family. I was relatively new to the whole taking care of a dog thing but the vet techs were there with me every step of the way, making sure my dog has all the right medications to face whatever the world throws at him. There is never a wait when I set appointments and the techs really seem to care about the wellbeing of my pup.

After you visit the clinic, across the street is a Winn-Dixie which has an AWESOME salad bar......

What a great office! After adopting my dog Tessa, I took her to this vet to be seen. First of all, the woman working the front desk (I think her name is Kaitlyn) is SO NICE. Such a sweet voice to have on the other end of the phone when you call and a great person to greet you when you walk in. The techs are great and Dr. M is FANTASTIC! She is so knowledgable, easy to talk to and you can tell she really loves what she does. I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room or the exam room. I called the other day because Tessa had developed a cough and I was very worried. When I called, they asked me if I wanted to come right then. It was 5pm! I was SO grateful. Tessa got the antibiotics she needed and is doing so much better! I really love this office and all the staff and will recommend it to anyone I know with a pet. Thank you for being so great to Tessa and I!

On Friday, my wife and I had to put our cat Nala down. She was 19 years old. I want to thank everyone at the Newberry location for always taking such good care of her. She received fluid therapy 3x/week for about 3 years. The whole staff was always so friendly and kind when I would bring Nala in to be treated. I highly recommend their services for any pet owners!

I immediately took him to NAH and Dr. Baltzley made the time to check him over. He took the time to give my little "Sunny" a much needed exam (NOT a quick visit) and made sure that I had a plan for Sunny's future.
Sunny got his ears, eyes, heart, skin, teeth, gums, vaccinations, and general health reviewed. This was all done with a loving touch and at a very reasonable cost.
How can I praise this team enough? All I can say is "thanks for taking such an interest in such a forlorn little guy. His future is so much "sunnier" due to you and your team!

I absolutely love my vet Dr. Doll, and all of the awesome techs that work here. I'm currently deployed but I know my babies are well taken care of by my husband and have great confidence that my vet will keep my kiddos healthy till I get home. The staff remembers me and my fur family by name, they are always polite and my kiddos don't even mind going to the vet. This place is the best! And they are affordable too!

While this review is never easy, I want to rave about how amazing this place is. I had to put my sweet pug down, who I loved so much. The staff went out of their way to get me in at the latest time possible. (I called the morning of.) they let me spend as much time with her and treated her so well. While I was crying my eyes out they were all so sweet. A few days after I received a handwritten sympathy card in the mail. I can't say enough good things about this vet.

I recieved a card yesterday from Newberry Animal Hospital (Main Street Location ) regarding the passing of my Cat Snowball. Thank you Dr. Stanley, Dr. M, and staff for the kind thoughts, it brighten my day. I found that if given time the Pet & Master relationship disappears and a real and loving friendship emerges. I had that friendship for 13 years with Snowball. I will miss him . Thanks for helping me bring his suffering to an end, It was done in a loving and caring way.

No matter the reason we have to go to the vet, whether it's s rescue kitty or one of our personal dogs, we get nothing but the best. We love LOVE Dr. Stanley so much, but also Dr. Doll, Dr. M and all of the techs. They are always very reasonable with their pricing and don't do un-necessary things to jack up your bill. The only vet and the official vet of Earth Pets of Gainesville Kitten Nursery.

Absolutely fantastic staff and service. Dr. M took care of my dog bff Rajah when we went in after she stopped eating. Sadly she had major kidney failure and I had to let her go. But the whole time the staff was compassionate and brought a blanket for her to lay on as we stayed with her till the end. AND THEN I get a condolences CARD in the mail that the whole staff signed. So, so sweet. Their prices were affordable as well. Thank you Dr. M and company.

I can't say enough about the staff at Newberry Animal Hospital. My first encounter with them, sadly, had to be to help our 13 year old Affenpinscher over the rainbow bridge, due to his failing health from recently diagnosed liver cancer. I used to show dogs, as a hobby, and professionally. Unfortunately, as a breeder, I was not a stranger to having to say goodbye to beloved pets. I can tell you, in no uncertain terms, I have never been met with a more thoughtful, and empathetic staff. Never before, have I been allowed to hold my dog during that difficult time (always made to leave them on the metal exam table). To be able to cradle the little dog in my arms that had been born into my hands 13 years ago, and show him that final act of compassion and love, means more to me than I could ever say. And now, I am a client for life. I will bring my furry family members to the people who make me feel like they care about my pets, as much as I do. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

I absolutely love it here. My dog had surgery at the Newberry location and the surgery went exceptionally well. She had to be seen immediately due to her condition and they were able to take her right away. The cost of the surgery was half the price of the UF Animal Hospital, which was a relieve to my bank account. I had to get my dog checked up multiple times following surgery and was told I could go to the one on Maine since it was closer and the staff there is amazing. Everyone is so helpful, friendly, and caring. The check ups and follow ups were all inclusive with my dog's surgery payment, so I didn't have to pay for those visits. The veterinarian was extremely helpful with any concerns and questions I had. Overall, a great experience and I will continue to go to them for any of my pet's needs. I love my pets and I can see they genuinely care for everyone's pets too. I highly recommend this place and truly trust them with my pets

I would recommend this vet office to anyone in Gainesville with pets. You can tell they truly care and the service is exceptional. They always call to check up on my dog after a visit, wish him happy birthday, and call with lab results in a timely manner. They always get my dog in right away and the exams are reasonably priced and cheaper than most other vets, and when I had to take me dog to an emergency after hours clinic, they scheduled a check up for him for no cost. We never have to wait more than a couple minutes in the waiting room and the vets and vet techs really make sure you understand what's going on. Would really encourage anyone looking for a new veterinary office to check them out.
