My pet has always received top-notch care here. The staff all seem to be happy to be there even though I know it's a very stressful job! Doctors take the time to explain things and the techs and receptionists are skilled and thorough. The facility is kept clean and there are two separate waiting areas for dogs and cats. Very nice staff and facility. My sick dog needed care and even though she had not been a client of theirs they made an appointment to see her the same day. The office was easily accessible with handicapped parking and a good sized parking lot. The facility was extremely clean and we'll organized,with special areas for dogs and cats to keep things less hectic and comfortable for either type of pet. When we arrived at the office the staff had already requested and received my dog's records from her previous vet in another city and were aware of her patient history so there was only a short information form for me to fill ' out. We were seen at our appointment time,and were seen without any wait time. The staff were efficient, knowledgeable, patient, and answered all of my questions without hurrying me out the door. Both my dog and I were treated kindly and Stella did not become anxious when being handled during her exam. The vet had a couple of tests done to be sure Stella would get the proper diagnosis and treatment so she would get well as quickly as possible. The medicine she needed was available in the office, and they showed me how to administer them in the easiest and most effective way at home. The vet and tech were very good and both of them had great bedside manners. Having had lots of dogs and cats over the years, I feel qualified to give an informed assessment of the Newberry Animal Hospital, and Stella did not mind going back for a recheck. Most importantly Stella was cured of a bad ear problem as quickly as possible,and was actually much improved the day after our initial visit. I recieved a call later that day from the office to see how Stella.was.doing and asking if I needed any help or had any other questions. If in need of a vet for your dogs or cats I highly recommend a visit to this veterinary practice. Also,if you have an emergency with your dog or cat after office hours, the message when you call the office number gives you name and number of two places you can contact that specialize in treating pets in need of emergency care. What a great vet office. The doctor's are all amazing and treat you and your pet like family. Truly love Dr. Grand and Dr. Doll, and the owner Dr. Baltzley is wonderful and all try to accommodate you. You can always get a last minute appointment and the care is stellar. Great techs, receptionists, and doctors. The kennel is also huge for the animals. Love they have a fenced in back yard for boarding as well. Highly recommend this clinic. Read Less

I have 16 yr old rescue pup that I've had for over 15 years, and a 2 yr old Boston terrier rescue with the entire check list of bad breeding problems.  This Vet and everyone in it are fast, accommodating, very skilled and compassionate, and will work with you on what you need and when.  I have a very busy schedule and when needed they let me drop my dog off so they could work her in in between appointments, and let me pick her up at the end of the day.  They have performed successful surgery on the Boston's eye, and have been so amazing through every visit.  They are also fairly priced, not cheap, but not astronomical either.  Very fair. I highly recommend all of there locations.  You will not be disappointed. Read Less

Our dog had a very serious skin condition, chewing and bleeding at times. He had an odor that bathing wouldn't get rid of. We took him into Newberry animal hospital and saw Dr. Grand. He immediately knew how to battle his condition and was respectful and compassionate while diagnosing. All staff was friendly and courteous. We highly recommend for all animal care needs! I've never been to a vet before because I wasn't ready for an animal until recently when I rescued my puppy. He was sick due to problems with a previous owner and I called newberry animal hospital they helped me right away. They were so polite about everything. I came in and the treated my puppy like he was a king. They are patient, caring, loving people and I highly recommend them to everyone!! I look forward to going back to them. Dr. Doll is awesome! When my dog, Penny, needed a suspicious growth on her tail removed, Dr. Doll walked me through all of the diagnostics and treatment options. I could tell she had both Penny and Is best interests at heart. We decided to remove the growth via a skin biopsy with sedation. I was a nervous wreck, but the staff were great and very understanding; they kept me updated during the procedure and about how Penny was doing. I was relieved to know my baby girl was in such great care. Penny recovered quickly and acted as if it never happened. Thank you for all that you continue to do for my furbabies!Read Less

Every time I enter this place I'm more impressed upon exit. As soon as you walk in the door they are friendly and attentive. I honestly feel like they care about my puppy as much as I do. I've never felt so comfortable and relaxed at a vet. Everyone is knowledgeable and willing to help in anyway to make your experience the best one. Everyone may think they found the right vet for them but you honestly need to try them out. It is definitely worth it!! Read Less

I was traveling through the state of Georgia and my older dog fell down some stairs.  I was so concerned she broke something a friend suggested I stop at this hospital and see Dr. Janine Tash on my way home to S. Florida since the dog still wasn't putting weight on her leg.  When I called they were so kind to fit me in even though they were busy and I hadn't an appointment.  This by far is one of the nicest, cleanest veterinary hospitals I've ever been to and have experienced quite a few with my many pets.  Like the other reviewer mentioned~it smelled good to.  Everyone was very nice.  After a very short wait we got into an exam room. After a couple x-rays which I knew were to be expected, I was back on the road again very quickly with some fantastic ideas and suggestions to help my aging dog and her orthopedic problems. I was also happy that they agreed that since the dog was calm there was no need to give her any drugs for the x-rays.  In a town full of veterinarians and schools  I would think this place stands out ahead of the rest! Today I took my dog up to Aalatash animal hospital. There was no wait , of coarse we had an appointment. There is a large waiting area and places for your dog to "walk" before you go inside. When we drove up they must have seen my dog because the moment i walked in the door they already had all my information ready to go and within a minute they took me back to his exam room. The buildings are clean and do not smell like you would think. The vet came in within 5 minutes of us waiting.... There was excellent communication between the vets the nurses and us. The exam was complete in short of 10 minutes. Shots were given and blood was taken. I think the speed was on account of there being two people in the room. The vet and then the nurse lady.. After all was said and done the vet gave him a bag of treats and hand fed a couple to him. Bottom line--I am really happy with bringing my dog here. I have had experience at other Vets and this is my favorite so far. My entire extended family uses Aalatash. from small dogs to big dogs and cats they are the best in town that I have found. Read Less
