ABOUT THE VETERINARIAN:
Dr. Jessica Robertson was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida but has lived in Gainesville for over 10 years. She graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, and has been practicing veterinary medicine locally. She loves working with her patients and clients; and her professional interests are preventive and internal medicine, dentistry and surgery. She has 3 dogs at home that keep her and her family company.

I had the pleasure of bringing a ball python to Dr. Robertson for treatment. The Robertson staff was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about my animal. Dr. Robertson is well versed in exotics care and took time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions about the chosen treatment to ensure I felt comfortable. I am so glad to have found a great team to bring my exotics collection to in the future! The Robertson Mobile Vet team is absolutely lovely!

What could be better than having a wonderful veterinarian and tech come to your home?! Nothing! And, the examination cost is less than I've paid at loud, overwhelming, expensive veterinary hospitals. I was so impressed with the care and compassion they showed my sweet pup. I will continue to praise Dr. Robertson and recommend her to all my pet owning friends!

Never thought I would say I had a "good" experience euthanizing a pet, however Dr. Robertson and her tech Debbie really helped make our experience putting down our parakeet with a tumor today as smooth and as comforting as it could possibly have been. Professional, helpful, kind, caring, and affordable. Highly recommend for pets of all kinds, especially exotics where it normally costs an arm and a leg to get medical treatment. I'm forever grateful we have found Robertson's practice for our menagerie of rescued pets of all species.

Dr. Robertson and her assistant Andreina (?) are wonderful and accommodating. My dog is elderly and is starting significantly slow down. I called her for advice and she immediately made arrangements for some anti-inflammatory medication for him. She is clearly proficient but more importantly, compassionate. Do not hesitate to call her for help.
UPDATE 2-21-2017: Not long after my original review, we had to put our old friend down. RMV came through yet again with compassion and helped us gracefully cross the threshold. Thank you again.

It is hard to find small animal & exotic vets in Gainesville that actually KNOW how to treat them. I highly recommend her with all your babies!!!!

I can't say enough to express how much I love Dr. Robertson and her great assistant Andreina. They're both two of the nicest people I have ever met and they care so much about the animals in their care. I took my dog to Dr. Robertson for almost two years until I had to leave the area. I knew she was great then, but finding a new vet out of state has been so difficult because no one can compare. Even as a mobile vet, her service was exceptional and of the highest quality. I would recommend Dr. Robertson to anyone!

Recently adopted a puppy and took him to Dr. Robertson for his initial exam. The staff was extremely friendly and answered any questions I had. Dr. Robertson was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond for me and my puppy. I will be coming back and also bringing my other dog to Dr. Robertson. I would recommend her to anyone.

Without a doubt Dr. Robertson is one of the best vets around. She truly cares about all living things and her compassion is obvious when she's with our animals. Not only does she do a great job, her prices are better than anywhere else we've been. We have 2 cats and a Rottweiler who all needed shots at once. Not only did Dr. Robertson save us quite a lot of money, she caught a minor thing on the dog that could've turned into somehting big if left untreated. Our other vet missed it. Dr. Robertson will be our vet for as long as she's willing!!!!

Extremely friendly and the atmosphere is second to none. Dr. Robertson is very genuine and you get the feeling that she really cares for the animals and its well being. If you are not happy with your current place you take your pet to, you might want to change to a nice, clean, down home atmosphere this office provides for their customers. I was extremely happy when I left, knowing my dog will be well taken care of.

Each visit contains specialized treatment that makes me feel like my 3.6 LB Chihuahua Brownie is her only patient. When Brownie had a reaction to an immunization, Dr. Robertson asked me to send pictures via cell and then gave instructions on how to care for him. She even called me back that night to see how he was feeling. His next immunization involved a one hour observation period which Brownie received lots of hugs and attention as he roomed throughout the office, while I went shipping. Her explanations are very thorough to ensure I know the importance of raising a healthy pet. I strongly recommend visiting Robertson Animal Hospital.

This is a long overdue review. But Dr. Robertson is amazing! Back in August I got a dental for my Papillon and after he got it done he has become a completely different dog! He acts like a puppy again. Super playful and happy! Dr. Robertson would call me and keep me updated because I was so nervous with him having to go under anesthesia at 8 years old. She made me feel very comfortable about the whole thing. I have seen her a few times and every time I am there she is so sweet and helpful. She is great with Bailey and he seems to love her as well!

I can't say enough to express how much I love Dr. Robertson and her great assistant Andreina. They're both two of the nicest people I have ever met and they care so much about the animals in their care. I took my dog to Dr. Robertson for almost two years until I had to leave the area. I knew she was great then, but finding a new vet out of state has been so difficult because no one can compare. Even as a mobile vet, her service was exceptional and of the highest quality. I would recommend Dr. Robertson to anyone!

Recently adopted a puppy and took him to Dr. Robertson for his initial exam. The staff was extremely friendly and answered any questions I had. Dr. Robertson was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond for me and my puppy. I will be coming back and also bringing my other dog to Dr. Robertson. I would recommend her to anyone.

Without a doubt Dr. Robertson is one of the best vets around. She truly cares about all living things and her compassion is obvious when she's with our animals. Not only does she do a great job, her prices are better than anywhere else we've been. We have 2 cats and a Rottweiler who all needed shots at once. Not only did Dr. Robertson save us quite a lot of money, she caught a minor thing on the dog that could've turned into somehting big if left untreated. Our other vet missed it. Dr. Robertson will be our vet for as long as she's willing!!!!

If you are not happy with your current place you take your pet to, you might want to change to a nice, clean, down home atmosphere this office provides for their customers. I was extremely happy when I left, knowing my dog will be well taken care of.

Each visit contains specialized treatment that makes me feel like my 3.6 LB Chihuahua Brownie is her only patient. When Brownie had a reaction to an immunization, Dr. Robertson asked me to send pictures via cell and then gave instructions on how to care for him. She even called me back that night to see how he was feeling. His next immunization involved a one hour observation period which Brownie received lots of hugs and attention as he roomed throughout the office, while I went shipping. Her explanations are very thorough to ensure I know the importance of raising a healthy pet. I strongly recommend visiting Robertson Animal Hospital.

This is a long overdue review. But Dr. Robertson is amazing! Back in August I got a dental for my Papillon and after he got it done he has become a completely different dog! He acts like a puppy again. Super playful and happy! Dr. Robertson would call me and keep me updated because I was so nervous with him having to go under anesthesia at 8 years old. She made me feel very comfortable about the whole thing. I have seen her a few times and every time I am there she is so sweet and helpful. She is great with Bailey and he seems to love her as well!
