Absolutely amazing experience and great care. Dr. Styles treated my pupper after she ate something seriously toxic. During the very stressful week she spent in the vet hospital, Dr. Styles called me every day with updates and suggestions, making sure I understood all of the possible treatment options. We moved from Indiana and needed to find a new vet for our cat. Could not be happier with Suburban Animal Hospital! All of the doctors are so kind and obviously very good at what they do! The first time we went was just to establish care/annual check up, the doctors/staff were so patient and good with our kitty! The second time we went was because our cat was getting sick, they not only fit us in right away but they called later on to check on her! The staff and Dr we're extremely nice. My puppy loved him and made sure to shower him in kisses. Prices were fare and I left very knowledgeable about my pet's treatment plan. Best vets! I have had dogs for many years. Dr. Sammy is my current vet, and is outstanding! He lovingly cares for my dog, who has a bad heart. She was not expected to live 2 years, and is now 10yrs old. She loves to go see him, and wags her tail when I mention his name. The staff is friendly and professional. I love this practice.Read Less

Everybody was kind and helpful, from the receptionist to the vet. Dr Stiles and the tech, Lauren, were great, very caring and sweet with our kitten, and very helpful answering all our questions and even showing us how to trim his nails and clean his ears. I also liked that we were told up-front about all the costs of each vaccine, test, and treatment beforehand. A little on the pricy side, but not much, and well worth it! Our pets have been patients of Suburban for almost 10 years. They've always been treated kindly from annual appointments to boarding visits. We've had a few operations performed at this clinic, and all have been recommended as part of reasonable treatment plans, and expertly performed. The vets here are always happy to refer to UF for complex cases, and we've never felt like we were being pushed to do anything, or spend money, that was not in line with our quality of life goals for our pets. This place is expensive but worth the money! The vets go above and beyond here. My dog had an ear infection and the vet took the time to show me how to clean her ears properly at home. They also took the time to answer all of my questions and explained exactly what the problem was and how it happens. They also allow you to drop your dog off in the morning for their visit if you have to work. They will then treat your pet and keep the dog in one of their kennels until you can pick them back up after work! That is a great service for those who can't take the day off for a vet visit. Over our years in Gainesville, our family been to 5 different veterinary offices for a pets. Once we found Dr. Sammy (Drs. Nipper and McDonald are terrific too) and the staff at SAH, we were sold and will never go anywhere else. Dr. Sammy is not only kind and compassionate, but he's the most thorough and accurate diagnostician I've ever had experience with. I'll probably ugly cry when Dr. Sammy eventually retires. Read Less

Amazing service, very accommodating. I found out that my dog was missing a vaccine that was required prior to boarding at another location. Of course I was informed of this about an hour before I had to catch a flight, on a Saturday afternoon no less. After frantic phone calls to a dozen vets, I got in touch with Suburban, who were able to give my dog the required vaccine immediately...saving my vacation in the process. Read Less

BEST animal hospital I have ever taken my dog. He is a 14 year old male maltese and he had to get his 21 bladder stones taken out, however he is doing great now and the doctor called me everyday to update me.
