I enjoy taking my dog to Town and Country Veterinarian. Everyone that works there is so amazing, especially all the techs. Town and Country Vet was originally recommended by a friend and I have taken my dog there every since. My dog is almost five years old. Every time I bring my dog they greet her with so much love and I see them do it with every dog. I take my dog there for appointments, the bath package, and boarding. My dog's leg was run over by a truck when she was 11 months, requiring surgery. They were so helpful with her rehabilitation. We had to go out of town during this period and they were so patient. They did her range of motion 2x per day whenever she boarded. Because of their help she was able to have a speedy recovery. I especially love taking her there for baths. She is always so shiny and clean. I have taken her to another well known pet store for baths and when I picked her up from there she was always shaking. When we get out the car at Town and Country she beats me to the door. She is always so excited!! I do have a French Bulldog so she does not require cutting. I am so sad we have to move. I don't think we will ever find another veterinary office like Town and Country Vet. They are caring, kind, and knowledgeable. I have been going to Town and Country Vet for well over a year and take both my dog and hedgehog there. They do great work with both of my pets and gain my trust more and more with each visit. I believe their prices are fair and are very reasonable for the quality of service you receive. I have never felt like they conduct unnecessary or frivolous testing either. If you have a pitbull and want a vet who holds a soft spot for them I highly recommend Dr. Ziegler. However, I see Dr. Tomlin for my exotics and he is wonderful too. Read Less

Town and Country is an outstanding clinic and pet resort! The veterinarians there are top-notch! They really take the time to conduct a very thorough evaluation, formulate a comprehensive treatment plan and implement their plan with the utmost of skill and compassion. My bulldog Maggie loves to spend the day at the resort, as evidenced by her frantic tail-wagging upon our arrival. The staff is wonderful! They make Maggie and Mom feel so welcome! We always receive a warm greeting from Brittany, Wes, Tyler, Kate, Nicole and the others. They are extremely knowledgeable and attentive to every detail. They take the time to listen to any health concerns I have and address any issues promptly and thoroughly. The kennel staff is amazing! Brandy and her colleagues provide superb care. We had an emergency on a Saturday when my dog was bit by another dog. Even though they aren't our regular vet, we called them to see if they could get us in because our vet was not open and they were, and they were also right down the street from us. They told us to come on in. I was so impressed with the care they gave my dog. He was taken in immediately and given excellent care. Dr. Ziegler treated his wounds and reassured his worried mommy. I'd like to share high praise for Dr. Terry Tomlin from Town and Country Veterinarian and Pet Resort on Archer Rd. My sweet hamster, Hunny, had a nasty bacterial infection and we went to him because he treats "exotic" animals. He treated her with antibiotics and took such elite care of my cute little rodent over several visits. In fact, you'd think she was as important as anybody else's horse (and to me and my kids ... she is)! The office is gorgeous, the staff is absolutely delightful, and the medical care was extraordinary. Hunny is well now, and he's to blame. I highly recommend this practice. Read Less

My dog has been going here since the first day she came home and cats even longer. The front of house staff is wonderful and always friendly (particularly Wes who loves Aussies). We have always had positive experiences. Haven't tried the boarding, so I can't weigh in on that, but I would definitely trust them to take care of my pets if I did need it.Read Less

We found this place when our gerbil got sick; Dr. Tomlin is a rodent specialist. He was amazing with our gerbils (finding a good vet who is good with rodents can be difficult). We then got a dog and they are great with her too! They offer affordable boarding and daycare and our pup loves going there, so they definitely treat her well! My dog is 14 years old and I have had her since she was 10 weeks old. We have lived in 6 different cities and seen countless vets. Nobody has ever made me feel better than Town and Country Vets. Dr. Ziegler is AMAZING with my little girl! He is genuine and sincere -- really cares about our pets. As he examines her, he talks to her soothingly, he looks at her problems from all angles, and he puts together plans that will be best for her by considering her whole picture. Our family absolutely loves Town and Country Vet! Dr. Tomlin and Dr. Kim (who we completely trust with our babies) are beyond amazing, patient, and compassionate. The techs and front desk staff are always a delight to work with making sure our pets (and we) are comfortable. We have taken all 4 of our pets for regular checkups, sick visits, and even surgeries on two of our pets. They are an absolute pleasure to work with and when your pets are part of your family it's so important to find a veterinary clinic that has the same belief. As a side note, Dr. Tomlin recommended Dr. Buzby's ToeGrips for our senior lab who slips and slides on our wood floors. They do not sell these at their clinic. He simply wanted what was best for our baby and they absolutely work! She has a newfound confidence and the ability to walk around without slipping--all without medication! Front desk staff is awesome- they did every bit of the leg work to pull the records for my two dogs (both seen at different vets). They were also friendly over the phone and in person. Vet tech and vet were nice, gentle and thorough -they answered any questions and took their time with me and the pups so we never felt rushed (my bigger dog HATES going to the vet). We followed Dr. Greene from a vet in our hometown of High Springs to Town & Country Veterinarians and Pet Resort. YES, we drive all the way from High Springs to T&CVets with our animals because what we find at T&C is a group of professionals that truly care for animals and want the most minimally invasive treatment available. When Dr. Greene was in High Springs, he was a new vet at our big, local vet hospital. Previous to Dr. Greene, every vet at this big High Springs vet told us our cat was violent and would not allow us to be in the room when they performed his annual exam. Our cat was muzzled for the exam. After Dr. Greene appeared, we suddenly found a vet who understood our cat and played with our cat prior to the exam. Dr. Greene took the time to make our cat comfortable and our cat would literally lie on the exam table purring for Dr. Greene. Dr. Greene also informed us that the treatment our High Springs vet had prescribed our French Bulldog for skin allergies was incorrect. He saved us $80/month on specialty dog food. Obviously, with this level of honest, compassionate care we quickly followed Dr. Greene to T&CVets and have never looked back. Dr. Tomlin is equally as kind and talented and even entertains my young kids by making balloon characters from his surgical gloves. LOL! For a mom who has to manage vet appointments with young ones, I can assure you a visit to T&C is not a chore, but a delight as my boys will pick out one of the many toys and snacks offered to keep them busy while I chat with the Dr. Greene or Dr. Tomlin. Recently, our French Bulldog sustained an eye injury on New Year's Eve. A local vet was able to stabilize his condition, however as soon as the holiday was over we were back at T&C and once again experienced their talent and concern. We learned exactly what was wrong with our dog's eye, how serious the condition was and options for treatment (all information that the emergency vet failed to share). Our decision to drive 50 miles round trip from our home to T&C was reaffirmed. We will never go anywhere else! Read Less

The care and expertise of the Doctors and staff at Town and Country are the best! The knowledge, professionalism, and care they provide my babies(dogs and cats) has been great. They are compassionate and caring. I feel so confident when I need to visit their hospital. I live over an hour from them and have vet hospitals much closer but I have the trust and confidence in the care they give to my pets that it's worth the drive.
