As a pet owner of many rescues, I am so grateful for Dr. Rae & the staff at Lake Area Animal Hospital. Dr. Rae has performed many surgeries on my various dogs with great success. She has returned to the office after hours & on weekends & stayed with myself & my dogs through the late night hours saving them from venomous snake bites. I am working for myself now and I am very happy Dr. Rae lead me to that. I wanted to thank her on her web page. I still send people to you because you are the best in the area. Your care for the animals you always put them first. Even on your days off, coming in the middle of the night. You are a awesome doctor and thank you for all the valuable information I learned from you and staff. I am super busy training dogs. We are expanding to Ocala I will be in charge of Gainesville location board and trains as well as private clients. We have worked with a few vet hospitals around town. Dr.Rea at Lake Area Animal Hospital is a wonderful veterinarian. She and her staff are professional, and operate with the highest ethical standards. I feel like I must comment on a review I read here that I feel is way off the mark. The person (not even the client) is alleging that a friends dog was taken from her, neutered, and re homed without her permission. Having worked in the Veterinary field previously for many years I can say with complete confidence NO veterinarian would accept care of a dog without a signed release form, or do any treatment or procedures without the signed consent of the owner. It is unfair and inaccurate for a person to post such a slanderous review with no basis in fact. At Lake Area Animal Hospital you will never find anything less than the best. As a client I have complete trust in Dr.Rea and know that her goal is to offer her clients the best care available for their furry loved ones.
