My family has been taking our pets here for over 25 years. The staff and the vet have always championed for the well being of our pets while taking into account one's financial limitations. I have strayed and tried other vets which are closer to my home (West Kendall), but have always found them to push unnecessary procedures and grossly expensive. Always a great experience when I take my husky. They treat Rosie with so much love! Love the lab and how fast they can get back results, I.e., fecal tests for heart worm. I have been taking my pooch to Dr. Perez since she was born, i cant say much more than Dr. Perez will forever be my Vet.  She truly cares for my Bella and  i have seen how she is dedicated to her profession every time i  visit.  The staff is wonderful too and on top of the required yearly vaccines.  The prices are very reasonable and Dr. Perez is honest if your pooch needs any additional services such as mine did... she was honest and didn't take advantage of my Bella's injury, i must add, thanks to Dr. Perez and the PRP procedure my pup is back to her normal crazy self.   They are very flexible with appointments and the wait, if any is normally minimal. I live over 40 minutes away and have about 3 vets closer to home but wont change because i know my Bella is always taken care of with love and patience. Read Less

HELL NO would I ever take my dogs to see this vet, hell no. I have friends who have had dogs with issues after they have left this place, so why in the world would I take my own dog especially after all these mixed reviews like honestly??? Think logically for a second and make yourself and your loved pet a favor and go somewhere that is NOT sketchy first of all and to a vet place that is well recognized and respected. A veterinarian who is of EXCELLENCE does not have to be placed in probation in the first place. Personally I would NEVER take my dog to a veterinarian who has been placed in probation in the past and I DO care about reviews. Have been taking my fur kids to Panda/Dr. Perez-Tirse for almost 20 years now and she has never let me down with the care of my babies!!! Cats, dogs, even our ferrets!! This past April our 8.5 year old shih tzu Bebe was lethargic and not moving or eating - since it was a sunday we rushed her to Leader ER vet in Cooper City (close to our house in Pembroke Pines. i will NEVER take my fur kids anywhere other than Panda!!! Leader was ready to euthanize our baby and basically held us emotionally hostage (and financially)... we finally pulled her out of Leader on a Sunday only because we agreed to call Lap of Love. After consulting with Dr. Perez we FINALLY brought our baby for one last try to safe her life and guess what??? OUR BEBE IS ALIVE AND DOING GREAT after two week of daily treatments and care at Panda!!! We CANNOT THANK DR. PEREZ-TIRSE AND HER STAFF ENOUGH FOR CARING FOR OUR BABY AND SAVING HER!! Our first legged kids Chanel and Divo were seen by Dr Perez at Panda Clinic since the day they were born until the day they passed at of all ages, 13 plus years. They were always healthy and strong. We have zero complain about this Dr on the contrary, my wife and I strongly believe she is a great person and an animal lover. Dr Perez came to help us in our own home during a hurricane because we were scare for one of our kids being sick. Thanks God everything went well. We will never forget that. We were so thankful at the moment that we tried paying her an extra amount of money and she completely refused it. We are very sad to see what happened to her clinic being exposed by the Media in a negative way that she does not deserve. As animals lovers, we completely understand and feel for those who lost their love ones (pets) but we know that unfortunately what happened was not Dr Perez intention. Horrible place! We are seeking legal action. My cousin brought her dog today to get spayed and the procedure was at 9am. Everything turned out fine they said to pick up the dog at 3pm. They go get the dog only to be sitting in the waiting room for while when they tell her we just checked on the dog and found her like thjs. Dead with her tongue out. Last Sunday my Maltese started bleeding from the rectum and vomiting uncontrollably. Mind you we had just lost a teacup Yorkie due to the same exact symptoms that Friday. We were referred to Dr Perez Tirse by a friend that saved her dog. We called Dr. Perez Tirse and elaborated on the dogs symptoms, she didn't hesitate in telling us to rush to the clinic so she can save our baby. What really intrigued me about Dr. Perez was that she was willing to go out of her way on a Sunday for a non patient animal knowing the urgency of care that my Maltese needed. We brought our baby in to the clinic, she ran tests it came to be that Sammy had a gastroenteritis hemorrhaging and Intoxication, and needed to be hospitalized immediately. In addition, she advised to pick him up on Tuesday. After we left the clinic I knew my dog was in good hands and he was going to live. Dr Perez Tirse's confidence, passion, and drive project in her personality. Its very rare to find a doctor that does what she does because she has a passion for it and really loves animals, and not in it just for the money. We picked up Sammy on Tuesday, and he was weak but happy and he lived which was most importantly of all. I'll definitely continue taking our dogs to Dr. Perez from now on. My friend's dog was brought in with an issue on his tooth...after 2 follow up visits with the clinic, and countless shots later, a diagnosis was not made and after an emergency stay at another clinic, Brownie passed away just 4 days later. A perfectly happy, healthy dog who became visibly pained after his visit, suffered in the days leading up to his untimely death. I would not wish that pain on my worst enemy. Losing a pet is literally losing a member of your family. No sympathy has been shown by any of employees nor do they assume any responsibility. Little Brownie fell victim to this place! DO NOT bring your pets here under any circumstances! They have a better survival rate healing on their own without the help of this place. Your death will not be in vain little buddy.Read Less

If you want your pet to die bring him here! I took my pet here to get him checked up and after suggested by the front office, I decided to vaccinate him. They did a routine check up on him (poop and blood exam). The blood exam was low on white blood cells but the "vet" there decided it wasn't "concerning." Upon leaving the clinic my pet was not the same. I took him back right away and they gave him a shot and told me he would be fine. Three days later and multiple visits to the Pet ER, (different clinic, as I was not coming back to this death trap)I lost my best friend. Till this day it is unclear to me what they did to my pet in this clinic and how he could still have been with me today had the doctors here decided to do something about his low white blood cell counts or even monitoring him further when I took him back that same day. My biggest mistake was not researching this clinic better and seeing all the other reviews of people who also lost their pets here. I know multiple people who have had healthy, happy pets that died as a result of very minor injuries, including a bee sting, after bringing them to this place. They have been accused of re-using dirty needles, taking blood from healthy animals, and feeding testicles and discarded animal parts to other animals while in their care. Dr Perez-Tirse is the best I have gone too and i have done my share of vets but i know from seeing when she graduated and when she got her Vet Boards, Because she has a complete wall of all her certifications and accomplishments when you go in for your appointment that your pet is being weighed in. She has 26yrs of experience and counting, and that is what i look for in my Vet to have a lot of knowledge and awareness to anything that is presented to her.   My Rubi a Pomeranian was a patient for 8yrs,  My Blackie a Chow Chow was a patient for 12yrs, and My two cats Mama and Papo were patients also for 9yrs.All animal run into concerns and problems but we as owners have to know when to move fast and not procrastinate, we always forget our pets get older and as they get older they need even more attention and medical care, why because things comeup and if our pets have depended on us all there lives and we don't do for them as much as we are supposed to do be it for any reason and sometimes the main reason is monetarily.Why do we say oh i love them so much, but why cant i do the right care for my pet.Dr. Perez is one to always mention to you the importance of Spaying and Neutering your little love one, the importance of a Dental Cleaning possibly every two or three years depending on the breed we may have, why because we don't keep up any maintenance with our pets.Dental Cleaning we see it as so not important because we might not go to the dentist, but in animals them getting tartar build up and there teeth getting brown/yellowish, that is an infection starting out in about 6 months to a one years time and most important that infection goes to the heart and causes congestive heart failure, specially even more if over 7yrs oldand what happens when something goes wrong we always look for someone to blame.We never say oh it was me as an owner, what do we do lets blame the vet. Think about itfolks its not always the veterinarian specially if you have been going to that office for so many years and all of a sudden something goes the wrong way. Sit back and think should i have done something different and not have waited for so long. Remember our pets with agecan have heart concerns, diabetes, skin issues from thyroid problems, kidney, liver and pancreatic problems why because of the foods we feed them throughout the years and we thought they were enjoying it because it tasted so good and we just were careless as owners of there feedings, also very important tumors that grow all over different parts of there bodies, and we just wait till it gets bigger to take it to the vet as we watch it grow and grow and then its to late because now the tumor is where it has grown so much that when you do a surgery and biopsy the results are malignant/cancer. So Dr. Perez-Tirse is awesome she goes way out and beyond for all the pets that have surgery and are hospitalized, and so many extra work behind the scenes you can not imagine, i have seen it because i have visited my pets being hospitalized or the ones that come for an office visit. She will always recommend the best medical attention possible for all your pets, its always up to the owners to decide.One thing that is important and we don't realize it is the Recheck Exams that she tells us to come back for and we sometimes don't do because we see our pet doing better, but when it deals with blood work from a treatment, ears, skin, glucose, heart murmurs, epilepsy concerns etc. , those followups are very important taking all medications that sherecommends is called practicing good medicine because she gives you alittle of everything so you can care for your pet at home nicely.So when you have to think of a Veterinarian think of Panda Animal Clinic with Dr. Perez-Tirse.Don't ever think Dr Perez-Tirse will not do the very very best, she always wants all her clients and her pets to leave with a smile. Why would you ever think otherwise, she wants everyone to keep coming for many many years, and that i know for a fact because i have heard her say it. I highly recommend to stay away from this place. No wonder they have gotten sued before. Whoever had a "good" experience here probably went on one of their very few "good" days. I, too, am someone who likes to make my own assumptions about a place, and not only go by what people say. But after my experience, I have something to say. Years ago, my Madison was very sick with blood in her stools. I we took her to Panda and after a lot of $$$, our baby was ok. Panda was our regular vet, and we kept taking her. This is the reason why I am giving 2 stars vs. 1. But, I guess it takes a lot of money to fund fancy cars and tacky haircuts. This Vet will have you supporting her habits from the get go.The straw that broke the camel's back was this.Last September, Madison started urinating herself uncontrollably all over the house. I knew something was wrong, so I took her to our vet at the time (since we had left Panda). Our current vet's blood analysis machine was broken, so he advised us to go somewhere else to see if Madison was diabetic. After a quick blood test, it was found that she was. Between September and December we spent over $1,000 caring for Madison... From glucose checks (the first which was an overnight stay to see how her body was reacting to glucose) to tests to see if she had other issues, to weekly glucose checks, to an at home monitor and supplies to care for her at home. I guess I shouldn't known better when she tried to call another patient about a blood glucose monitor they barely got to use because their poor pup had passed on... I guess I should've known that soon that would be me. About a week or so after picking her up from a test to see if she had Cushings, since her sugar was super high and we couldn't manage it at home, my Madison passed away in her daddy's arms just after midnight on December 9th. We were heart broken and still are. Obviously, she was a dog and wasn't meant to live forever... But it was so fast. We didn't expect it. What bothers me the most is the fact that they were always calling to see how she was and if we were going to bring her in for a glucose check (at $30 a pop). After her test for Cushings, the last call I got was to tell me she tested negative.. Then not another call until my Birthday to remind me that Madison is due for shots. If they would've kept up the facade that they cared with their calls, maybe they would already know my precious girl is gone and won't need those shots. But fact is, they didn't care... They just wanted our $$$. I have never met a Vet who was so dry and uncaring. It's all business to her, and I guess all that matters now is her fancy cars and her tacky haircut. The animals and their loving owners are just a stepping stone. Beware... There are WAY better vets who will care for your pets and who will give you proper bedside manner. If you're looking for someone who will value your pet as a patient, don't go to Panda Animal Clinic! Read Less

I make my own assumptions I don't base it on others. I came to Panda after having a horrible experience in another clinic my dog bleeding through his stool and everything. When I arrived the staff was super nice and answered all my questions very attentive. As soon as I was called into the actual room, the Vets assistant came in noticed that the nails were a little long and cut them I loved the attention to detail. As soon as the actual Vet came in she  answered all my questions and more!!!!! She surpassed my expectations, everything that they had given my Boston terrier in the other vet was what was making him sick practically ..., ahgggg so frustrating but all and all an amazing experience I would definitely recommend this place to everyone there Amazing!!! I honestly think this is the best animal clinic in Hialeah. I had a really bad experience with another vet. When I came here I felt very relaxed and the staff was very caring and nice. The best thing about this place is the lab that they have for analysis. At my other vet I would not get results fast, here I do. The wait was not long and the staff was very gentle with my pet. I brought my Doberman puppy in a few weeks ago for an ear cropping surgery, with after care and medication totaling about $400. The competitive price is what brought me here, but I wish I would have paid more elsewhere and received better care. During one of the taping/postings of my puppies ears, the tape was applied so tightly that IT CUT INTO BOTH HIS EARS. I went seeking the opinions of multiple Doberman breeders and owners and NO ONE had ever heard of a case like this. My poor little animal was suffering at the hands of this doctor. I took him in so that the cuts could be stitched, and the doctor could correct HER mistake. The ears were then left uncovered for 4 days. Today, on day four, I took him in to get them checked up, and for a set of puppy vaccines. To my complete disgust, when I picked him up the stitches had been removed after only 4 days, and his ears taped/posted WITH THE TAPE CUTTING INTO THE EARS AGAIN. I was in awe that any doctor would allow a puppy to go home in that condition. When I asked to confront the doctor about it, she blamed the puppy shaking his head, causing the tape to cut him. If this is the case, then why would she remove the stitches and retape so soon?! It is safe to say that I will NEVER be returning to this slaughter house of an "animal clinic". I started taking my Rottweiler & now, Doberman Pinscher to this vet at the recommendation of the Rottweiler rescue & I have had only amazing results. The facilities are clean, the staff are amazing & the vet knows what she is doing & is very reasonable in pricing. I have read the negative reviews, but my own very positive experience plus the extremely crowded waiting room tells you that Panda is doing something right. I recommend to all I know. Read Less

My cat was taken to Dr. Perez for a routine procedure, but my cat ended up with KIDNEY FAILURE AND GANGRENE as a result of Dr. Perez's negligence and ignorance! My cat died a few days later, and Dr. Perez denied responsibility, though my cat was completely healthy and happy prior to entering Panda Animal Clinic. Further, Dr. Perez could not have been more resentful and rude after my cat's botched procedure, which ultimately resulted in her death. This matter will certainly be escalated. Another vet full of tactics designed to separate you from your money.,, one that lures you in with a low consultation fee and then wants $350 for blood work, using multiple scare tactics. The vet "knew" what was wrong with my dog. By the way, my dog got better the day after our visit there with no help from the 'good' doctor. It's hard to find a vet that isn't trying to get rich off of each customer, playing on your emotions to bilk you with unnecessary tests.Stay away, your bank account will thank you. I have been taking my Maltese to Panda Animal Clinic for four years! Staff is friendly and always very concern about your pet. There are two full time doctors to assist the pets and a full staff of helpers. When you walk in there is a station for Cuban coffee (you can only find that in hialeah) since this location is in the heart of hialeah. They usually have a plate of goodies such as cookies or crackers! Nice touch It is more expensive than other animal clinics, but you're also paying for the attentiveness. Recently, I took lady for a skin rash condition and to update her shots. The doctor recommended a super long list and all very expensive I told her I could not buy all those medications and she was able to work with on which were most critical for lady to start using. The doctor has killed two of my family's pets. And told me my golden retriever needed a wheelchair but nothing was wrong with his legs. Thank God I never took him back because she killed my grandma's  Pomeranian after making her go through a couple thousand dollar surgeries. And the same thing happened with my little cousins rat terrier, of course this was all after the charges for overnight care over $7000 in fees. These are not even the same type of dog? I still don't understand how she is even allowed to be around animals. I have been going to Panda for several years and highly recommend this clinic. Dr. Perez and her staff are very professional, accommodating and friendly. We have several dogs and take all of them to Panda. The clinic is state of the art, clean and prices are very reasonable. The boarding facility is impeccable.  Whether regular maintenance for my dogs or surgeries that were involved Dr. Perez has always done a great job. STAY AWAY! Unfortunately our family got the news that our 10 year old husky had passed yesterday January 6. Had I have known the bad reputation panda animal clinic has had ahead of time I sure wouldn't have ever brought him here. My fiancé had took him here because he was sick. My fiancé was really concerned and had asked the nurse if they were going to take care of him. The nurse responds and I quote "well we get off early on New Years....but yea were going to take care of him." I couldn't believe that she would say that, and I should have just went to go get him at that moment. I'm not saying that they killed my dog, because he was sick, I just wish I would have taken him somewhere that would have fight to save him. But yea unfortunately after seeing all the horrific stories on the news about how they reuse needles and neglect the animals, I am just horrified. I cannot believe this place is still in business, and how much they really don't care about animals. I hope that something is done about this because It isn't fair for helpless animals that cannot defend themselves. We took two of our family dogs for a routine procedure. One died within 36 hours and our second dog continues fighting the infection till this day that she contracted from this negligent office. They reused contaminted needles to save a buck. My family's vet bills are in the thousands. I would NEVER advise anyone to take their pet to this office. This is the same office that was featured on NBC for their disgusting horrific practices. If it werent true NBC would never cover the story for THREE nights. They will deny this but it is absolutely the truth. They do not care for the health or life of your pet. Please look elsewhere for the care of your pet!!! I will continue to tell my story. My dog went into this hospital wagging his tail and walking and left with severe brain damage. He was doing well the first three days and suddenly After the fourth day in this hospital  He sustained a very high fever and started seizures.  This should not have happened. Dr. Perez was extremely rude to my family. My dog was  in a coma and we fought to save  him for several  months but he did not make it.  Please don't let your pet be hurt and suffer as ours did. If there were a NEGATIVE 20 score, I would choose that! I'm filing a malpractice suit against Dr. Perez, who operated to remove my 7.5 month-old cat, L.J.'s, hind claws last week. After she took out her claws, she kept the cat 2 days rather than 1 day, which is normal protocol after a claw removal. They told me she was fine, just had a swollen paw. But when she got home to me, she wasn't eating and was vomiting, so I took her back in to Panda Animal Clinic to see what was wrong. They did a test and found she had RENAL FAILURE --- she was PERFECTLY HEALTHY before I took her to them for the claw removal! They interned her and had her on IV fluids for 3 days, but her kidneys weren't getting better. The office was recommending I have her put to sleep, when they discovered, nearly a WEEK after her claw surgery, that she had GANGRENE in her paw, and she would require a $1000 surgery to amputate her paw and TRY to save her from the gangrene, but that she would likely die anyway because of the kidney failure. I had to make the terrible decision to put her to sleep, to avoid her any more suffering. IF YOU LIVE IN THE MIAMI AREA AND HAVE PETS, PLEASE, DON'T TAKE THEM TO PANDA ANIMAL CLINIC!!! Despues de que se quitaron las unas, ella se quedo con mi gatico 2 dias en vez del 1 dia que sea normal en una cirugia asi. Ella me dijo que la gata estaba bien, que solo su patita estaba un poco hinchado. Pero en la casa averigue que no estaba comiendo y estaba vomitando, era muy debil, y por eso la lleve otra vez al Panda Animal Clinic aver lo que la estaba pasando. Me dijeron que ella tenia FRACASO DE SUS RINONES y la tuvo q internar 3 dias con suero. Despues de los 3 dias, todavia no habia mejorado de sus rinones, asi q me estaban recomendando ponerla a dormir. Pero de repente me llamaron --casi una semana despues de su operacion de la patita -- para decir q tenia GANGRENA y la tuvieron q quitar su pata x $1000 de emergencia, o si no muera...pero q igual tal vez muera de todos modos x parte de sus rinones! If there was a lower rating I would give it! I was going to this vet for 7 years. I recently decided to go somewhere where the prices were a little more economical. I received a call today to inform me that my annuals are due for my pet. I told her that I already received them at a different vet. She asked why I went somewhere different. I told her that I found somewhere were it was cheaper. She told me that they are cheap and they only way I was going to receive it cheaper is if I was on government assistant. Her tone was that of disgust, I didn't think that she needed to judge me. I called back to talk to the office manager. And it was no help! She told me after much conversation, that I miss understood her employee. I told her that I didn't and I didn't expect to be treated that way. We then started talking about how my parents introduced me to that office. I told her who they are, and she told me "oh yes, the geriatric couple, who have like 4-5 dogs." "They always come in and talk about their diseases and what they are going to die of". I was in complete shock. She didn't get cursed out because I was trying to remain composed. But I informed her that her reviews on-line weren't the greatest and that I thought the doctor there was nasty. She then hung up on me because she felt insulted.Needless to say, I will NEVER return! The ONLY reason why I come to this vet is because it is close to my house but after my last 2 visits I am definitely willing to travel a bit further to another vet. I feel as if the vets at Panda do not truly care for the well being of our pets, their main concern is how much they can get out of you. Since we first got our new puppy, Jackson, we went to Panda because it was recommended by a friend. We took Jackson in for his first check up to make sure everything was ok after we purchased him from the breeder. Jackson only had one testicle drop and every time we took him in for a booster shot the vet kind of almost pressured us into getting him neutered. It was a choice we knew we wanted to do anyways but him pressuring us to get it done was an annoyance. I scheduled his appointment almost 2 months in advance to get him neutered and I called Panda not once, not twice but THREE times to confirm the price of the surgery and I was told repeatedly that it would be $95. On the day of surgery as we were picking him up there was a surprise additional $100 fee because Jackson only had one testicle, it was extra to remove the one that had not dropped. Please explain to me how the ONLY vet he has ever been too was unable to tell me that information none of the 3 times I called in to have the price verified? After that incident I promised myself that I would not go back but unfortunately he recently got sick with diarrhea and we need to take him somewhere quick so he could get better. The vet preformed all test on him including blood work, she advised us that he was perfectly healthy he just had some bacterial growth in his stomach that was causing the diarrhea. She gave him a shot to help control the diarrhea and some antibiotics and said she would also give us a 'little bit' of food just for the time being to help him get over it sooner. When we went to go pay the so-called 'little bit' of food was a 40 pound bag of dry food with 14 cans of wet food which was $50 each. The vet total was almost $300 for a "perfectly healthy dog with just some bacterial growth in his tummy". Today is day 4 after we visited Panda and Jackson STILL has explosive diarrhea. Are you fucking kidding me??? Avoid this place at all cost and if you have absolutely no choice but to take your pet here be a tough bitch and don't let them steal your money because it seems as though this is all they care about.
