This used to be the only Vet I would visit. In fact over the years, this was the only Vet I ever used for 4 animals. They have performed surgeries, routine exams, dental work, vaccinations and routine care for all four of my animals. I called today to get an appointment for a sick cat and was told that because she hadn't been there in three years, they considered her a new patient and they weren't accepting new patients until May because it's "in season"! No offer to call me if they had a cancellation, or of an appointment sometime down the road, just simply turned away a sick animal and a formerly loyal customer. They were kind enough to tell me that they may be accepting new patients again in May as if I would ever consider returning when they turn away a sick animal because she hasn't needed care in 3 years? This is the Vet who performed the spay on the cat in question. Good for them that their business is so good at this time that they can turn away animals in need (who they have previously treated), but I promise I will never return. Over the last 10 years, I have probably referred a dozen people to this practice, they will never get another recommendation from me. She was amazing and was able to save my Oats and stitch his wound closed so he can start his long road of recovery. My grandmother was visiting from out of state with her chihuahua, who had suffered a major spinal injury a while back. He had recovered from paralysis in his back legs and was finally walking again. It was a miracle... A few days ago, he re-injured himself. He was in so much pain that he was shaking like a leaf and vomiting constantly, not retaining any fluids. He became severely dehydrated and was also experiencing incontinence. The staff was annoyed with us when we showed up without calling ahead. The vet gave him a cortisol shot and sent him home with anti-nausea medication. He should have been kept overnight on an IV or euthanized. Instead, we were given false hope.That same night, he vomited until blood came out and died in agony, gasping for breath in my grandmother's arms.0/10 I'm never trusting them with any of my pets again. My 2yo (at the time) Boxer mix Jax suffered from severe separation anxiety since the day we adopted him. I could not leave him alone without him breaking out of his crate and eating the blinds. We tried trainers, behavior modification, and plain old exercise... Nothing helped! Dr. Jaffe & Dr. Cohen worked together to find the best plan for Jax. We started him on some medication, and within 6 months I was seeing my crazy dog change before my eyes! Here we are 1.5 years later, and Jax is completely weaned off ALL medication, and doesn't even need to be crated when we leave! AMAZING! I would not recommend this place the staff are rude and not compassionate ,. while in waiting for an appointment I heard them taking calls and laughing about peoples concerns about the pet the were calling about. .That was my first red flag. after that several problems arose a misdiagnosed ailment among other unprofessional acts I can only say from my stand point I would stay away from this place and all the unprofessionalism. If anyone is looking for a vet in the Stuart area, I highly recommend Federal Animal Hospital.  Every time we had to bring our dog there, we were seen quickly and they were very knowledgeable.  Unfortunately we had to put our sweet baby to sleep last week, and even though they were fully booked, they squeezed us in as they understood that once you make that hard decision, you want to do it right away.  Not only were they super compassionate throughout the process,  they also just sent us a condolence card...which every member of their staff not just signed but actually wrote a personal message.  I'm a bit blown away by it.  When the time comes for us to get a new pet, I know for sure we will be coming here.
