Just like everyone else who has reviewed this animal clinic, Dr. Stone does care about your pet! I took in one of my dogs for second opinion on possible leg amputation due to mast cell tumor. This animal clinic was recommended to my by a family member that currently takes her dog here. I was torn between the opinions of my dog's original vet and his current oncologist; his vet didn't want to perform the surgery while the oncologist said my dog would do fine. Dr. Stone suggested the tumor had to go therefore amputation was the next best thing. The oncologist wasn't optimistic about chemo to shrink the tumor and from what Dr. Stone also said, it probably wouldn't target the tumor. He doesn't perform surgeries but he did help break that barrier and I went with his suggestion. He hugged me and wished me luck. Dr. Stone and staff did a great job at cleaning my yorkies teeth. He also did 4 extractions and my baby teeth are pearly white. I am so pleased at how clean he was able to get his teeth. I plan on going back in 6 months to make sure it stays clean. Read Less

This has got to be the most professional and carrying vet I have EVER been to. Trust me when I say, Dr. Stone is not and I repeat is NOT about the money. Today was my first visit and I didnt even have an appointment. He saw my dog, showed me how to administer the medication, to come back in two weeks and walked right out. The staff are friendly, respectful and loving towards your animal. Definitely not the typical all cleaned, neat, expensive seats, furniture and equipment BUT my priority is the wealth of my pet, my priority is to make sure the vet loves animals and the staff are friendly and they met my every expectation!!!!! I visited a Veterinarian there, Dr. Stone, for a second opinion on my dogs health. I must say he is a very busy man. Very good Veterinarian, he is also very fair with his prices as oppose to the one I go to now. However; he does not do the operation my dog required, but I might start taking my dog there due to his fairness in prices and the good attention I received. Taking our puppy to Pasadena Lakes Animal Clinic was a great experience. We went on a Saturday (they take walk-in's) and although we did have to wait 45 minutes to be seen EVERYONE  including staff and patrons were very happy/friendly. Staff immediately greeted everyone with a smile, and were wiling to work witch the individual needs of every animal that came through their door. When it came down to our visit with Dr. Stone he was very warm and informative. He included us in the procedures and even had us look through his instruments to show us what he had seen when checking our pups ears. He is very direct and does not miss a beat! Dr. Stone is hands down the absolute best vet in South Florida. My family has been going to him for almost two decades now. He is the type of vet that will not try to charge you for services you don't need and is always concerned with keeping your costs down. He won't sugar coat anything for you. All I can say is that you can't always judge a book by its cover. The location of this office is not the best looking from the outside, but there are several restaurants ( Chinese place next door and the delicious Cuban cafeteria a few doors down)When you walk into the Dr. Stone's office it looks as it nothing has changed since they opened, like the original floor and everything else. The waiting room is also very small, inside two examining rooms. YET, the front office staff is friendly and always helpful. The vet techs are also extremely nice and they love and pet any animal that they see. Dr, Stone is very knowledgeable. He will not sell you services that you don't need or medicine. He will always try to save you money. His office is always packed and the animals are mostly, always happy to see him Its just the way that his office runs. What I like is that he also brings his dog to the office, as if he was part of the staff.I just love Dr. Stone, and would not take my pet anywhere else.Also, if he he knows that he can't do anything for your pet, he will recommend someone who can. Usually he does surgeries on a particular day and you must drop off your pet by 8 I believe.They also sell all types of medicine, by the dose or the box. Last Friday my poor baby girl had to have emergency surgery due to Pyometra... an infection in her uterus (which btw could have been avoided if I would have spayed her as I should've). My dog Zilla was adopted on November 1st of this year. Sadly in the shelter no one told me she was very sick, in her way of dying. After expending $2k in medical bills and desperate to find what was wrong with her my cousin Bridgette Kincaid recommended me to her vet. She told me, " Take her to Dr. Stone, he will tell you what is wrong with her". Thanks God I did. I spent 3 hours in Dr. Stone office, he was going back and forth between other patients trying to figure out what was wrong with her. He finally did and treatment started.
