Dr Cook is a great vet. He is very caring and compassionate and has been in practice a long time. I feel he is honest about his diagnosis and he has treated our dogs with the utmost care. They do everything in the room so there is no guessing when they take them in the back if something was done. Goes for injections also he does them right in front of us. I would trust him with any pet that I own. The staff is truly caring and explains everything. There are no surprises at check out because they will tell you how much it will cost up front. I will always recommend them to anyone. Read Less

When my wife and I rescued a cat off the street, we got really lucky to find Arlington Animal Hospital. My wife called and priced several nearby vets and while this place wasn't the cheapest, they were the nicest on the phone, and they've been the nicest bunch of people ever since. My cat says they're the nicest torturers she's ever seen. It really can't be overstated how important a friendly, easy experience is with this kind of service, and Arlington Animal Hospital just shines. I've stood in the lobby and had ten minute conversations AFTER everything was done. They always remember my cat and treat her like family. Read Less

If I could give 0 stars, I would. For two years, we were told that our Boston Terrier simply had horrible allergies and our only option was an excessively expensive immuno-therapy treatment, which they said would PROBABLY work after more than a year of treatment. Well, we did the treatment for a year with no improvement and just couldn't purchase any more. When I suggested other diseases that her symptoms resembled, I was met with condescending questions as to why we stopped the immuno-therapy. They simply refused to consider other possibilities. The only thing that made her better was steroids, which should have been a clue to the vet that maybe it's not just allergies. After two years, we took her to a new vet. That vet (within 60 seconds of seeing her) told us that she has SCABIES! She has had SCABIES for TWO YEARS! And the only place she came in contact with other dogs was at Arlington Animal Hospital while she was being boarded. To make matters worse, we just got a new dog, so now we have two dogs to treat. We feel horrible that she could have very easily passed scabies on to other dogs while she was boarded at Arlington Animal Hospital. It was not a simple misdiagnosis. It was two years of no improvement from allergy treatment which is a huge red flag that there is an underlying problem not being addressed. Do not trust your pet to Arlington Animal Hospital.Read Less
