DOING ANIMAL RESCUE FOR OVER 26 YEARS, WHILE WORKING WITH SO MANY VETS... IN SO MANY AREAS... THE STAFF AND THE DOCTOR BY FAR EXCEEDED, ABOVE AND FAR BEYOND, ANY OTHER VET CLINIC THAT I HAVE EVER WORK...

THE STAFF AND THE DOCTOR BY FAR EXCEEDED, ABOVE AND FAR BEYOND, ANY OTHER VET CLINIC THAT I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH, EVER. I WAS REFERRED TO THEM BY 2 OTHER RESCUERS... AND REMEMBERING A FRIEND USING THEM AND A NEIGHBOR TALKING ABOUT THEM AFTER WE MOVED TO THIS AREA. BECAUSE OF THE GREAT EXPERIENCE THEY HAD THERE, AS WELL. MY EXPERIENCE... IT WAS INCREDIBLY EYE OPENING AS THEY ARE ALL SOOO VERY EXTREMELY CARING... NOT ONLY ABOUT YOUR "PET BABIES", BUT THEY TRULY CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS... MORE THAN I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED OR EXPECTED. I WAS LEFT SPEECHLESS AND SO HEARTFELT TOWARDS ALL OF THEM... ESPECIALLY ALEX AND THE REST OF THE STAFF. I WENT IN NEEDING DIRE HELP TO SAVE 2 SURVING KITTENS OUT OF 5, THAT WERE FACING THE SAME FATE AS THE REST OF THE LITTER. THEY WERE THE MOST PROFESSIONAL AND CARING STAFF IN A VETERINARIANS OFFICE THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN, HEARD OF, OR WORKED WITH... AND I'VE WORKED WITH A LOT OF VETS IN MY YEARS. THEY WERE QUICK TO GET THE TESTS DONE, QUICK WITH RESULTS AND DID MORE FOR ME AND THE BABIES THAN EVER COULD HAVE ASKED- OR EXPECTED. I WILL NEVER USE ANOTHER VETERINARY CLINIC AFTER JUST MY FIRST VISIT. BELIEVE ME... THAT SPEAKS LOUDLY FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME WITH MY BACKGROUND IN ANIMAL RESCUE TO SAY.

I brought in 2 small long hair chihuahuas. And in the end they both suffered. They took both my dogs in the back out of my site to cut their nails. They billed me and did not inform me. I carried my dogs to the car, they did not walk to the car. So I was not aware until I got home. I had to pay for my babies to suffer for 2 days. The Negligent on duty Veterinarian Butchered all nails of both my dogs. They charged me and Didn't tell me they butchered my dogs nails. Both dogs were Limping and in Pain for 2 full days. All nails bled. Bartram Park Animal Hospital Veterinarians are Negligent. I WILL NEVER GIVE YOU A POSITIVE REVIEW, I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO Bartram Park Animal Hospital. You guys are Negligent, charged me and didn't not inform me THAT MY DOGS WERE BLEEDING ALL NAILS.... WHO DOES THAT. WHO WANTS SMALL DOGS TO BE LIMPING IN PAIN FOR 2 FULL DAYS. I will never never go BACK NEVER. All Day, Everyday Negligent. No mater what your response is to this post it will not change the suffering my dogs endured. And you the Professionals Did Not Inform me the Paying Client. Very Bad Practice.

Dr Akande and his staff have been taking care of our Weim’s medical needs since we moved to the area 3 years ago. I cannot say enough about not only the convenient location, cleanliness of the facility and most of all how wonderful everyone is at this office. We’ve had concerns about our 13 year old boy for a while now and knew due to his age we were blessed to still have him with us. Recently, I took him into the office as we could tell he had taken a sudden turn for the worse.
Dr. Akande and his staff took their time in determining the cause and spent even more time explaining our options. They gave me in-office time to consider as well as completely understood that I wanted to take him home for the night to decide. They gave me enough pain meds to keep him comfortable that night and scheduled us to come back in the next day. We made the hard decision to let him go in peace.
The next day was handled with so much care, understanding, and compassion and for that, I am extremely grateful. They gave us as much time as we needed, we were not rushed into any step that morning. They all made sure the entire visit was calm and caused our boy no stress at all. They even took care of arranging all of the cremation details and payment ahead of time so when we finally did say goodbye we were able to leave the office without having to handle anything else. I will say that my husband and I so appreciated Dr. Akande’s bedside manner and empathy during the entire process. He was so gentle with us and our dog and helped us through that hard experience.
I highly recommend Bartram Park Animal Hospital, they will care for your animals as much as you do.

I was worried about my older kitty losing weight and wanted to have her thyroid checked. I took her to Bartram Park Animal hospital and they had blood-work done. Before I could back to them to get the results, I moved to Connecticut and made an appointment with a local veterinarian. I called Bartram and asked them to fax the results to the new vet - the day before my appointment I checked and no results have been faxed. I called again and only then it was faxed. However, the results didn't include any tests for thyroid, WHICH IS SUPPOSEDLY WHY THE BLOOD-WORK WAS DONE. So, now I had to pay again for tests, which was the reason I visited Bartram in the first place.

The staff is nice and the facility is well maintained but they are super sneaky with their charges. I took my 3 year old dog there for the first time for a checkup and my puppy for more vaccines and a followup. My dog had gotten a 5 year rabies vaccine the year prior. I gave them her shot records, and told them not to give her the rabies vaccine. But they gave it to her anyways and a new license. This cost me $50 I shouldn't have had to pay. Between the two of them we owed over $500 at the end of our visit. OUTRAGEOUS. I plan to use a different vet from now on.

I believe this vet is an extortionist. Prices are outrageous. I brought my cats (2) in for a check up and rabies shot and had a $290 bill after declining all of the other superfluous stuff we didn't need. I believe this vet charges exorbitant rates in order to push his very own "insurance" program which is also ridiculously priced, to waive the fees on future visits. I believe it is probably impossible to leave this office without spending at least $150. Staff was friendly and seemed knowledgeable, but are pushy on sales. I'd suggest you find another vet.

I am so thankful for the wonderful staff here. I have never taken our dog here, but in an emergency, we rushed our choking dog here after not being able to remove the obstruction. They quickly brought our dog into a room, assessed his oxygen level and immediately started preparing him for sedation. Our dog was turning blue, so they pushed oxygen on him. They saved our dog's life before even knowing our name or checking us in. Even after all that, it was only a $65 fee. Thank you so much!

Bartram Park Animal Hospital is great. Dr. Akande is very gentle with my dog. He's very knowledgeable. The office is always so fresh and clean. It is difficult to keep a fresh smell in a clinic that treats animals. They tend to smell like animals. Not Bartram Park Animal Hospital. Also, after each visit we always receive a call to follow up with us to see how our dog is doing or responding to the medication. Love it. Highly recommend.

Always a wonderful experience! The care given by the Staff is extraordinary! From the 1st visit, you can see that they genuinely care for each & every animal as if they were their own. They truly understand that for most people, their animal isn't just a pet... but a member of their family! I've had my cat for almost 11 years now, & he'd had ongoing dental issues for years - It wasn't until I'd found Bartram Animal Hospital & met w/Dr. Akande, that I finally found out that it'd been an auto-immune disorder all along, and not just diet/age as I'd previously been told. Additionally, the disorder had been affecting his health & well-being for years. Sadly my cat had endured more than he'd had to; because I hadn't known... as the req'd routine treatment is minimal by comparison. I'm so thankful for the Staff @ Bartram, my cat has improved greatly since becoming a patient there, & today his whole attitude's different - He's both Healthy & Happy! If you're wondering, Bartram's not only affordable, but also accepts pet wellness/discount plans. I highly recommend this facility to anyone - if you're looking for routine care, or searching for a knowledgeable Vet (who will spend the time necessary to find the answer) I believe this facility offers the very best care possible! Lastly, if it helps to validate the above review - I've moved since first establishing my cat as a patient there & now live roughly an hour or so away from Bartram Animal Hospital, and happily make the drive when needed!

Dr. Akande is the nicest man and a wonderful, knowledgeable vet! We have visited him for well checks as well as when we have had emergencies with our 7 year old cockapoo. He is so calming to both his furry patients and their owners. : ) His staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable as well. Dr. Akande and his Staff at Bartram Park Animal Hospital are one in a million..Both our Australian Shepherds, Dexter and Elsa love the staff and all the treats they give them They always take extra time to make nervous Dexter feel comfortable. Dr. Akande answers all my questions (and I ask a lot) and never makes me feel rushed or like I'm asking a stupid question (even when I am). They really make you feel like your pets are their favorite and you can tell they love working with them. I cant say enough how much I appreciate the care they give my two babies. Their office is spotless their prices are great and I recommend them to everyone I know with a pet!

Everyone is so gracious and friendly! Brittany and Dr A are the best. The hospital is so clean and always smells so good! I have entrusted both of my dogs with their services and my expectations have always been exceeded! They did such a great job with my dog Gracie's recent teeth cleaning and was half price through PetsZoogle! I love them and so glad we found them!

DOING ANIMAL RESCUE FOR OVER 26 YEARS, WHILE WORKING WITH SO MANY VETS... IN SO MANY AREAS... THE STAFF AND THE DOCTOR BY FAR EXCEEDED, ABOVE AND FAR BEYOND, ANY OTHER VET CLINIC THAT I HAVE EVER WORK...

AND REMEMBERING A FRIEND USING THEM AND A NEIGHBOR TALKING ABOUT THEM AFTER WE MOVED TO THIS AREA. BECAUSE OF THE GREAT EXPERIENCE THEY HAD THERE, AS WELL. MY EXPERIENCE... IT WAS INCREDIBLY EYE OPENING AS THEY ARE ALL SOOO VERY EXTREMELY CARING... NOT ONLY ABOUT YOUR "PET BABIES", BUT THEY TRULY CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS... MORE THAN I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED OR EXPECTED. I WAS LEFT SPEECHLESS AND SO HEARTFELT TOWARDS ALL OF THEM... ESPECIALLY ALEX AND THE REST OF THE STAFF. I WENT IN NEEDING DIRE HELP TO SAVE 2 SURVING KITTENS OUT OF 5, THAT WERE FACING THE SAME FATE AS THE REST OF THE LITTER. THEY WERE THE MOST PROFESSIONAL AND CARING STAFF IN A VETERINARIANS OFFICE THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN, HEARD OF, OR WORKED WITH... AND I'VE WORKED WITH A LOT OF VETS IN MY YEARS. THEY WERE QUICK TO GET THE TESTS DONE, QUICK WITH RESULTS AND DID MORE FOR ME AND THE BABIES THAN EVER COULD HAVE ASKED- OR EXPECTED. I WILL NEVER USE ANOTHER VETERINARY CLINIC AFTER JUST MY FIRST VISIT. BELIEVE ME... THAT SPEAKS LOUDLY FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME WITH MY BACKGROUND IN ANIMAL RESCUE TO SAY.

I brought in 2 small long hair chihuahuas. And in the end they both suffered. They took both my dogs in the back out of my site to cut their nails. They billed me and did not inform me. I carried my dogs to the car, they did not walk to the car. So I was not aware until I got home. I had to pay for my babies to suffer for 2 days. The Negligent on duty Veterinarian Butchered all nails of both my dogs. They charged me and Didn't tell me they butchered my dogs nails. Both dogs were Limping and in Pain for 2 full days. All nails bled. Bartram Park Animal Hospital Veterinarians are Negligent. I WILL NEVER GIVE YOU A POSITIVE REVIEW, I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO Bartram Park Animal Hospital. You guys are Negligent, charged me and didn't not inform me THAT MY DOGS WERE BLEEDING ALL NAILS.... WHO DOES THAT. WHO WANTS SMALL DOGS TO BE LIMPING IN PAIN FOR 2 FULL DAYS. I will never never go BACK NEVER. All Day, Everyday Negligent. No mater what your response is to this post it will not change the suffering my dogs endured. And you the Professionals Did Not Inform me the Paying Client. Very Bad Practice.

Dr Akande and his staff have been taking care of our Weim’s medical needs since we moved to the area 3 years ago. I cannot say enough about not only the convenient location, cleanliness of the facility and most of all how wonderful everyone is at this office. We’ve had concerns about our 13 year old boy for a while now and knew due to his age we were blessed to still have him with us. Recently, I took him into the office as we could tell he had taken a sudden turn for the worse.
Dr. Akande and his staff took their time in determining the cause and spent even more time explaining our options. They gave me in-office time to consider as well as completely understood that I wanted to take him home for the night to decide. They gave me enough pain meds to keep him comfortable that night and scheduled us to come back in the next day. We made the hard decision to let him go in peace.
The next day was handled with so much care, understanding, and compassion and for that, I am extremely grateful. They gave us as much time as we needed, we were not rushed into any step that morning. They all made sure the entire visit was calm and caused our boy no stress at all. They even took care of arranging all of the cremation details and payment ahead of time so when we finally did say goodbye we were able to leave the office without having to handle anything else. I will say that my husband and I so appreciated Dr. Akande’s bedside manner and empathy during the entire process. He was so gentle with us and our dog and helped us through that hard experience.
I highly recommend Bartram Park Animal Hospital, they will care for your animals as much as you do.

I was worried about my older kitty losing weight and wanted to have her thyroid checked. I took her to Bartram Park Animal hospital and they had blood-work done. Before I could back to them to get the results, I moved to Connecticut and made an appointment with a local veterinarian. I called Bartram and asked them to fax the results to the new vet - the day before my appointment I checked and no results have been faxed. I called again and only then it was faxed. However, the results didn't include any tests for thyroid, WHICH IS SUPPOSEDLY WHY THE BLOOD-WORK WAS DONE. So, now I had to pay again for tests, which was the reason I visited Bartram in the first place.

The staff is nice and the facility is well maintained but they are super sneaky with their charges. I took my 3 year old dog there for the first time for a checkup and my puppy for more vaccines and a followup. My dog had gotten a 5 year rabies vaccine the year prior. I gave them her shot records, and told them not to give her the rabies vaccine. But they gave it to her anyways and a new license. This cost me $50 I shouldn't have had to pay. Between the two of them we owed over $500 at the end of our visit. OUTRAGEOUS. I plan to use a different vet from now on.

I believe this vet is an extortionist. Prices are outrageous. I brought my cats (2) in for a check up and rabies shot and had a $290 bill after declining all of the other superfluous stuff we didn't need. I believe this vet charges exorbitant rates in order to push his very own "insurance" program which is also ridiculously priced, to waive the fees on future visits. I believe it is probably impossible to leave this office without spending at least $150. Staff was friendly and seemed knowledgeable, but are pushy on sales. I'd suggest you find another vet.

I am so thankful for the wonderful staff here. I have never taken our dog here, but in an emergency, we rushed our choking dog here after not being able to remove the obstruction. They quickly brought our dog into a room, assessed his oxygen level and immediately started preparing him for sedation. Our dog was turning blue, so they pushed oxygen on him. They saved our dog's life before even knowing our name or checking us in. Even after all that, it was only a $65 fee. Thank you so much!

A little while later he had a seizure and had to cross the rainbow bridge, the staff and the doctor were very helpful and supportive. We received a sympathy card and so much love. We really appreciate your support in our time of grief. Would highly recommend to anyone who really cares about their animals.

Bartram Park Animal Hospital is great. Dr. Akande is very gentle with my dog. He's very knowledgeable. The office is always so fresh and clean. It is difficult to keep a fresh smell in a clinic that treats animals. They tend to smell like animals. Not Bartram Park Animal Hospital. Also, after each visit we always receive a call to follow up with us to see how our dog is doing or responding to the medication. Love it. Highly recommend.

Always a wonderful experience! The care given by the Staff is extraordinary! From the 1st visit, you can see that they genuinely care for each & every animal as if they were their own. They truly understand that for most people, their animal isn't just a pet... but a member of their family! I've had my cat for almost 11 years now, & he'd had ongoing dental issues for years - It wasn't until I'd found Bartram Animal Hospital & met w/Dr. Akande, that I finally found out that it'd been an auto-immune disorder all along, and not just diet/age as I'd previously been told. Additionally, the disorder had been affecting his health & well-being for years. Sadly my cat had endured more than he'd had to; because I hadn't known... as the req'd routine treatment is minimal by comparison. I'm so thankful for the Staff @ Bartram, my cat has improved greatly since becoming a patient there, & today his whole attitude's different - He's both Healthy & Happy! If you're wondering, Bartram's not only affordable, but also accepts pet wellness/discount plans. I highly recommend this facility to anyone - if you're looking for routine care, or searching for a knowledgeable Vet (who will spend the time necessary to find the answer) I believe this facility offers the very best care possible! Lastly, if it helps to validate the above review - I've moved since first establishing my cat as a patient there & now live roughly an hour or so away from Bartram Animal Hospital, and happily make the drive when needed!

I was very happy with the service at Bartram Park for my dog's dental cleaning. I got the reduce rate thru petzoogle which made it possible for me to do. They took good care of her & kept her thru the day to do lab work & allow her to come out of anesthesia. It worked perfectly as I was able to go to jax for the day so timing really good. I felt she was in good hands while I was away.

Dr. Akande is the nicest man and a wonderful, knowledgeable vet! We have visited him for well checks as well as when we have had emergencies with our 7 year old cockapoo. He is so calming to both his furry patients and their owners. : ) His staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable as well. Bartram Park Animal Hospital is very clean and also very reasonably priced when it comes to their services. We will always use this vet!

Dr. Akande and his Staff at Bartram Park Animal Hospital are one in a million..Both our Australian Shepherds, Dexter and Elsa love the staff and all the treats they give them They always take extra time to make nervous Dexter feel comfortable. Dr. Akande answers all my questions (and I ask a lot) and never makes me feel rushed or like I'm asking a stupid question (even when I am). They really make you feel like your pets are their favorite and you can tell they love working with them. I cant say enough how much I appreciate the care they give my two babies. Their office is spotless their prices are great and I recommend them to everyone I know with a pet!

Everyone is so gracious and friendly! Brittany and Dr A are the best. The hospital is so clean and always smells so good! I have entrusted both of my dogs with their services and my expectations have always been exceeded! They did such a great job with my dog Gracie's recent teeth cleaning and was half price through PetsZoogle! I love them and so glad we found them!
