My beloved Bosley was very ill and just after Christmas my bank account was drained! They were able to give me a quote and help me apply for Care Credit. I am very grateful and Bosley has made a full recovery.

My pets - 2 dogs - have been patients of Animal Hospital of Hodges for over a year. The staff is wonderful and the care provided is super. I have some time issues when scheduling appointments but the staff is very helpful in finding times when I can be fit in. The biggest reason I switched to Animal Hospital is due to the fact that the fees for services are MUCH more reasonable than other local vets. I highly recommend Animal Hospital of Hodges!!

I had taken my dogs here for many years then I moved 30 minuted away. I tried another very but they did not compare to the hospitality of the staff at Animal Hospital of Hodges. Dr. K is wonderful. When I had to send my fur-baby to the rainbow bridge this Christmas Eve I called Dr. K and he met me even though they were closed, no questions asked.
Thank you for taking such great care of my "babies".

I have been bringing my pets to Dr K. and Dr G. for some years now. I am always pleasantly surprised by the care and attention the Doctors and staff give my pets and myself. Customer Service seems to be a top priority and i always leave satisfied. Recently when it was my beloved Charlets time to go, i didn't think twice about where i would bring her. Dr K has always made me feel like family and on that day, that is exactly what i needed.

I do NOT recommend this place!! Took my precious dog here to board for ONE night and shortly after this he started showing signs of not feeling well, throwing up and having diarrhea and like he was in pain. We took him back to this vet at the end of that week and they did all these expensive tests but failed to do a fecal test until almost 2-3 days later after they prescribed all these antibiotics for something they cant even know exactly what he had. He had C-Diff (shown from fecal exam) and am almost definitely sure it was from boarding him there for that one night because he never had those symptoms until after he went there, and was never around other sick animals to pick this up. Its like we took him there, then he got sick from that place and we had to pay them for that! This was the worst experience I have ever had, and when we picked him up from the vet after getting treatment he was in soooo much distress from being locked in the cage freaking out the entire time he was there- he was sooo weak when he got home and sooo sick!.... we ended up putting him down and will never forget this!

Hoping it's just a fluke but I had a rather disturbing experience there this past weekend. My 1 yr old cat had been in labor for 12 hours and had only produced one kitten. They did an x-ray and said there were at least three others inside. I took her home. 24 hours later she had a second, still born. After no more kittens since, I took her to first coast on Norwood (Awesome btw) to find out there were no more kittens and no signs that she had... Eaten them... Morbid, but it does happen. So, what's disturbing to me is that Hodges quoted me at 1200-1500$ for an emergency C-section that first coast showed she didn't need. Not to mention first coast requested the x-ray from Hodges and never got it. I have helped many feline mother's bring their brood into the world which is why I let some time go by. My advice, shop around. I was freaking out that my cat might die of sepsis bc I couldn't afford the bill of an emergency C-section and not only will first coast work w you to form a payment plan on surgeries but the staff was AMAZING. I usually got to Herschel but I have been to multiple vets in the area. Again, shop around and when in doubt get a second opinion €

Dr.K and Dr.G are exceptional doctors they took their time to treat her. The boarding area is clean and spacious, customer service is great and prices are affordable. I strongly recommend going to this animal hospital.

We live close by and were in need of dog boarding. It was the worst experience ever. They told us dogs would be walked twice a day which I don't believe happened. The lady complained that she had to clean out one of the crates because the dog had an accident...well yeah thats because she didn't show up to walk them. One dog had to poop so bad she went immediately on the sidewalk outside, she never poops on the sidewalk only in grass but she had to go. That tells me she didn't get walked. We live down the street and never see them walking dogs and they have no where to walk them so we should have known better. They asked us to bring their bedding which we tossed in the trash because it was so gross when we picked them up. Please please board your dogs somewhere that has a yard for them to run and lets you see the back where they will stay, if they don't let you see the back, it is a big red flag!!!

This past week I felt I was living at the hospital taking so many puppies in for their health exams and shots !!! I once again have to praise Dr K and his staff for recognizing how valuable my time is and truly caring about me and my puppies. Thank you guys job(s) well done ... we will be back!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I've had animals all my life and feel Dr K and Dr G are top notch excellent Veterinarians that are very good at what they do .... so impressed with how they run their two clinics caring, friendly, compassionate, and their staff is awesome !!! Only interested in making money. Do not care about the welfare of the animal. Example. Buddy my Lab was sick. They were the original care givers. They knew about Buddy and his illness.
Buddy was on 2 medications for fluid build up. We needed to order additional pills . The doctor refused to issue them until we brought Buddy into the office. Buddy was in no shape to go to the office. We were told Buddy needed a Rabies vaccination. Dr. K. stated it was the law. He failed to state or did not know about a exemption for elder, sick, animals who did not need a shot until they were healthy. Here is the Exemption according to Florida Law. (2)A dog, cat, or ferret is exempt from vaccination against rabies if a licensed veterinarian has examined the animal and has certified in writing that at the time vaccination would endanger the animals health because of its age, infirmity, disability, illness, or other medical considerations. An exempt animal must be vaccinated against rabies as soon as its health permits. If he thought Buddy was so Healthy or his wife Dr. G. why did Buddy have distress 2 days later and die. Is this the kind of Vet you want to take care of your pet? They work on families emotions and drive up the bill. If they had their way, my bill would of been over $800.00. They placed this dog under stress, and gave him not just a annual shot but a 3 Year shot which they knew he would not need. They just find ways to increase the bill and do not truly care. Example, they sold me pills, but only could give me 100 out of 200 pills. They refuse to refund as of this writing not even the amount for the pills I never received. They forced a Rabies shot, for 3 years on a elder sick dog which should of been exempt based on the real Florida Law, which should of been followed. My suggestion is to not use these 2 vets. Unless you do not care about your pets health or lives.

So my cat had surgery there Monday. They told us to pick her up on Thursday. When I went to pick her up Thursday they charged me an extra $20 for an extra day of boarding. This is not an extra day, we were told to pick her up Thursday. Then the tech tells me she spoke husband the day before and told him we need to pick her up Wednesday. My husband never spoke to her, so he gave them a call and they told him they tried to call me... So obviously they never tried to call either of us. So then my husband goes back Friday to clear things up, and they told him they forgot to give us her antibiotic. When I was there Thursday, I asked about meds, they told me she was good on the meds and didn't need anymore.

I was even charged $22 for a replacement license that only costs $6!! over $50 for a heartworm test, and $80 for an exam! As a former Vet Tech, I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

I have been bringing my pets to Dr K. and Dr G. for some years now. I am always pleasantly surprised by the care and attention the Doctors and staff give my pets and myself. Customer Service seems to be a top priority and i always leave satisfied. Recently when it was my beloved Charlets time to go, i didn't think twice about where i would bring her. Dr K has always made me feel like family and on that day, that is exactly what i needed.

I do NOT recommend this place!! Took my precious dog here to board for ONE night and shortly after this he started showing signs of not feeling well, throwing up and having diarrhea and like he was in pain. We took him back to this vet at the end of that week and they did all these expensive tests but failed to do a fecal test until almost 2-3 days later after they prescribed all these antibiotics for something they cant even know exactly what he had. He had C-Diff (shown from fecal exam) and am almost definitely sure it was from boarding him there for that one night because he never had those symptoms until after he went there, and was never around other sick animals to pick this up. Its like we took him there, then he got sick from that place and we had to pay them for that! This was the worst experience I have ever had, and when we picked him up from the vet after getting treatment he was in soooo much distress from being locked in the cage freaking out the entire time he was there- he was sooo weak when he got home and sooo sick!.... we ended up putting him down and will never forget this!

Hoping it's just a fluke but I had a rather disturbing experience there this past weekend. My 1 yr old cat had been in labor for 12 hours and had only produced one kitten. They did an x-ray and said there were at least three others inside. I took her home. 24 hours later she had a second, still born. After no more kittens since, I took her to first coast on Norwood (Awesome btw) to find out there were no more kittens and no signs that she had... Eaten them... Morbid, but it does happen. So, what's disturbing to me is that Hodges quoted me at 1200-1500$ for an emergency C-section that first coast showed she didn't need. Not to mention first coast requested the x-ray from Hodges and never got it. I have helped many feline mother's bring their brood into the world which is why I let some time go by. My advice, shop around. I was freaking out that my cat might die of sepsis bc I couldn't afford the bill of an emergency C-section and not only will first coast work w you to form a payment plan on surgeries but the staff was AMAZING. I usually got to Herschel but I have been to multiple vets in the area. Again, shop around and when in doubt get a second opinion €

I took my dog to the Animal Hospital of Hodges. Annie was well taken care of, the vet techs knew what they were doing and were very kind. Dr.K and Dr.G are exceptional doctors they took their time to treat her. The boarding area is clean and spacious, customer service is great and prices are affordable. I strongly recommend going to this animal hospital.

We live close by and were in need of dog boarding. It was the worst experience ever. They told us dogs would be walked twice a day which I don't believe happened. The lady complained that she had to clean out one of the crates because the dog had an accident...well yeah thats because she didn't show up to walk them. One dog had to poop so bad she went immediately on the sidewalk outside, she never poops on the sidewalk only in grass but she had to go. That tells me she didn't get walked. We live down the street and never see them walking dogs and they have no where to walk them so we should have known better. They asked us to bring their bedding which we tossed in the trash because it was so gross when we picked them up. Please please board your dogs somewhere that has a yard for them to run and lets you see the back where they will stay, if they don't let you see the back, it is a big red flag!!!

I've had animals all my life and feel Dr K and Dr G are top notch excellent Veterinarians that are very good at what they do .... so impressed with how they run their two clinics caring, friendly, compassionate, and their staff is awesome !!! Buddy was on 2 medications for fluid build up. We needed to order additional pills . The doctor refused to issue them until we brought Buddy into the office. Buddy was in no shape to go to the office. We were told Buddy needed a Rabies vaccination. Dr. K. stated it was the law. He failed to state or did not know about a exemption for elder, sick, animals who did not need a shot until they were healthy. Here is the Exemption according to Florida Law. (2)A dog, cat, or ferret is exempt from vaccination against rabies if a licensed veterinarian has examined the animal and has certified in writing that at the time vaccination would endanger the animals health because of its age, infirmity, disability, illness, or other medical considerations. An exempt animal must be vaccinated against rabies as soon as its health permits. If he thought Buddy was so Healthy or his wife Dr. G. why did Buddy have distress 2 days later and die. Is this the kind of Vet you want to take care of your pet? They work on families emotions and drive up the bill. If they had their way, my bill would of been over $800.00. They placed this dog under stress, and gave him not just a annual shot but a 3 Year shot which they knew he would not need. They just find ways to increase the bill and do not truly care. Example, they sold me pills, but only could give me 100 out of 200 pills. They refuse to refund as of this writing not even the amount for the pills I never received. They forced a Rabies shot, for 3 years on a elder sick dog which should of been exempt based on the real Florida Law, which should of been followed. My suggestion is to not use these 2 vets. Unless you do not care about your pets health or lives.

So my cat had surgery there Monday. They told us to pick her up on Thursday. When I went to pick her up Thursday they charged me an extra $20 for an extra day of boarding. This is not an extra day, we were told to pick her up Thursday. Then the tech tells me she spoke husband the day before and told him we need to pick her up Wednesday. My husband never spoke to her, so he gave them a call and they told him they tried to call me... So obviously they never tried to call either of us. So then my husband goes back Friday to clear things up, and they told him they forgot to give us her antibiotic. When I was there Thursday, I asked about meds, they told me she was good on the meds and didn't need anymore.

I was even charged $22 for a replacement license that only costs $6!! over $50 for a heartworm test, and $80 for an exam! As a former Vet Tech, I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!
