Vet was yelling at my daughter for choices in food we made for our dog, staff was very judgmental. They were mocking my dog for markings on his face. Behind my daughter’s back... yes, she heard them! Very uncomfortable, hostile, rude environment! Not an experience we expected. We will NEVER go back to this place again. No, I would not recommend this place to my friends.

From the moment I came to visit this place I wasn't impressed. For minor things this vets office kept over charging us. Found out about this after calling a lot of other places and a good friend that is a vet in Palm Beach. When going to get my dog fixed they wanted to charge us almost $600 for fixing a male 90lbs dog. This place only cares about the money and less about the animals.

The Staff of Marietta Animal Hospital are always caring,courteous and professional. My dog Sascha loves all of the staff and Dr. Gilbert whom continue to exhibit professionalism and concern for my dog and myself when medical needs arise. They are always there to answer questions and provide helpful advice when deemed necessary. I wouldn't take Sascha any where else.

Neighbor took dog here, after having an altercation with another dog. Dog only had a tooth hole on his back side and a 2" diameter blood blister under its right arm visible. We knew he didn't have any...
Neighbor took dog here, after having an altercation with another dog. Dog only had a tooth hole on his back side and a 2" diameter blood blister under its right arm visible. We knew he didn't have any broken bones, but just wanted to make sure he didn't have any internal injuries. Instead of letting him know they don't treat internal injuries(i.e surgery) and referring to an ER, they went ahead and admitted him. After bill of $456 for an X-ray and poke & probe, was told he has low blood oxygen and MIGHT have a punctured lung and that they don't treat that, internal, or do surgeries. That he'd have to go to an ER to confirm if he did or didn't for sure. The ER they referred was even worse. $456 for nothing but x-ray, if dog had had a punctured lung it would have died while they wasted time figuring ways to up-charge! Whatever you think the bill might be, multiply it by at least three!

This place is clean, and so naturally its overpriced.
The staff is ok at best, if you like fake-friendliness than they're probably your cup of tea.
They will run tests without making sure your budget can handle them & then push medications on you that you'll only find out about when you see your bill at the checkout counter.
My Advice:
1.) Whatever you budgeted for, make sure to bring an extra $100.
2.) The Doc will be abrasive, but I am (pretty) sure she means well.
3.) DO NOT expect the online pharmacy process (order/approval/delivery) to go smoothly. They will mess it up, Your pet will not get its meds on time, its kind of their thing.
For us, the medication issue/screw-up was the last straw. Good Luck!

I told the lady I was not sure if this dog had been there before so instead of looking my name up she looks at me and says does you dog go to a vet (rude) I said yep to the navy base.. so sits me down talking to the lady next to her and says well I need his vet records before I can trim his nails policy is policy if that is the issue have no problem with it... The girl to me was kind of rude... Unless a dying emergency I will not be back.. I only went cause I had been there before with no issues.... I would like to say not mad about if it is policy to show records before you can trim nails it was the lady to me being rude you could see it in her face... You can be the nicest person ever but you face tells all

Recently I got burned out and the staff at Marietta came to my rescue and took in all my dogs because we were homeless and the hotel they put me in wouldn't house the dogs..They were there about a month and they never complained or said WHEN ARE YOU PICKING UP YOUR KIDS..I had just moved here from New Jersey and Marietta Animal Hospital came recommended to me from my co worker who uses them also for all his dogs shots..I will forever be indebted to them for there First Class Service. We had a fantastic visit! I was a new patient this Saturday, but I loved it when the doctor walked in the room she didn't even knows me she went straight to my dog. Some people may get offended by that but I also am a dog person so I completely understand going to the first. She also gave me lots of helpful advice and took the time to answer any questions I had nothing was rushed. if you are looking for a new vent you must come here! also the staff has been there for years so your dog actually gets to know the staff. loved it loved it loved it!

As long as I live within driving distance of Jacksonville, I will take my pets here! The care and service that we have received has been superb. Plus, the clinic is beautiful and always immaculate. I feel that the level of care that my dog and cats have gotten is above and beyond what I have ever experienced at any other practice with other pets. These are people that care a lot about their clients - both animal and human - and who go the extra mile. When I first returned from living in West Africa with my African dog and cat in tow, Dr. Cinque and her excellent staff manage to win them over (after some traumatic experiences with "vets" in WA, this was no small feat)...and they never once made ignorant Ebola jokes, which is more than I can say for 99% of the people I talked to! They were thorough, honest, and extremely accommodating of my "helicopter mom" attitude. Because of their unique background, my pets needed several years of medical care in a short amount of time...They knew that I was a newly returned Peace Corps volunteer with limited funds, so they made sure to give me a list of all the treatments/procedures that they recommended and their costs, so that I could budget accordingly (which was much appreciated). Seriously, take your pets here! You won't regret it.

First let me say that the office is beautiful, clean and well maintained. I was very pleased that the clinic did not smell (there was absolutely no odor). The lobby was clean and modern and I loved the decor. The staff was extremely friendly and thorough. I am preparing for an international move and there is a lot of paperwork involved that requires specific procedure. All of the team members were so diligent and helpful. I cannot thank them enough. They were also very forthright about pricing and went above and beyond to provide great service. They also really took to Desi and he to them although he was a bit grumpy at first, he definitely warmed up after the treats. If you live on the Westside, GO HERE!!!!Thanks Marietta!

MAH is the best! When I moved back to the U.S., I brought my West African dog and cat with me. My dog had seen other "vets" and had had horrible experiences with them - she would freak out if anyone so much as thought about trying to treat her for anything. My cat was terrified of all humans except for me. On the first visit, Dr. Cinque and her staff were able to examine them and treat both without any issues! Everyone that works here is fantastic - compassionate, honest, knowledgeable, and kind. They have a way with animals and they treat their human clients just as well. The clinic itself is beautiful and has been immaculate every time we've come. I am confident that the standard of care my pets receive at MAH can't be beat and as long as we live near Jax, we will never go anywhere else!

The vet that we have there is one of the nicest people I have met and also is very knowledgable. She helped our puppy get better when we bought her from a breeder store - she had pnemonia and parasites. A+++++ We wouldnt go anywhere else.

I feel that the level of care that my dog and cats have gotten is above and beyond what I have ever experienced at any other practice with other pets. When I first returned from living in West Africa with my African dog and cat in tow, Dr. Cinque and her excellent staff manage to win them over (after some traumatic experiences with "vets" in WA, this was no small feat)...and they never once made ignorant Ebola jokes, which is more than I can say for 99% of the people I talked to! They were thorough, honest, and extremely accommodating of my "helicopter mom" attitude. Because of their unique background, my pets needed several years of medical care in a short amount of time...They knew that I was a newly returned Peace Corps volunteer with limited funds, so they made sure to give me a list of all the treatments/procedures that they recommended and their costs, so that I could budget accordingly (which was much appreciated). Seriously, take your pets here! You won't regret it.

First let me say that the office is beautiful, clean and well maintained. I was very pleased that the clinic did not smell (there was absolutely no odor). The lobby was clean and modern and I loved the decor. The staff was extremely friendly and thorough. I am preparing for an international move and there is a lot of paperwork involved that requires specific procedure. All of the team members were so diligent and helpful. I cannot thank them enough. They were also very forthright about pricing and went above and beyond to provide great service. They also really took to Desi and he to them although he was a bit grumpy at first, he definitely warmed up after the treats. If you live on the Westside, GO HERE!!!!Thanks Marietta!

MAH is the best! When I moved back to the U.S., I brought my West African dog and cat with me. My dog had seen other "vets" and had had horrible experiences with them - she would freak out if anyone so much as thought about trying to treat her for anything. My cat was terrified of all humans except for me. On the first visit, Dr. Cinque and her staff were able to examine them and treat both without any issues! Everyone that works here is fantastic - compassionate, honest, knowledgeable, and kind. They have a way with animals and they treat their human clients just as well. The clinic itself is beautiful and has been immaculate every time we've come. I am confident that the standard of care my pets receive at MAH can't be beat and as long as we live near Jax, we will never go anywhere else!

I take all four of my animals here. They really care about your pets and don't participate in the upselling I have seen in the past at other places. The vet that we have there is one of the nicest people I have met and also is very knowledgable. She helped our puppy get better when we bought her from a breeder store - she had pnemonia and parasites. A+++++ We wouldnt go anywhere else.
