A coworker recommended this veterinary service, and I could never be happier. My GSD had canine folliculitis. We took him to our first vet, and they dismissed it as a simple dry nose with allergies, and to just give the dog Zyrtec. After a couple days passed and his condition got worse I wanted a second opinion. And the nice veterinary doctor took one look at my dog and immediately knew what was wrong. He was able to answer any and all questions I had, as well as being much more informed than the previous vet that I had spoke to. The other vet kept pressuring me to neuter my dog at a very young age, and this Dr. here knew that it could potential he cause my dog to have hip dysplasia as well as bone problems if neutered too early. This place It's a lifesaver, exceptional staff very knowledgeable. If there is any downside to mention the waiting room area is too small, but that is easily overlooked with the best veterinary care I've ever had in the history of owning animals! Highly recommend!

We've used Dr. Woodham for years since he was on Atlantic Blvd. They always make time for us and our dogs, even when a second one has to come along for the ride. I have received excellent advice how to handle many situations from pill dispensing, behavior issues, car sickness, itching, etc. as well as keeping all vaccinations current. When I lose a pet we get a lovely card from them. They are caring and professional--couldn't ask for better.

We have been coming here for years now and have to say that Dr Woodham is incredible. His staff is SUPER pet friendly and he has hours on Saturday that work best for us. He has helped us with all of our rescued pets and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. We are family and love this place!

Great vet, my three dogs and two cats all love him! Not only that but they are more reasonably priced than anyone else around and when one of my cats was having issues and we were going to the vet once a week for at least two months they gave us a break on the usual visit costs. Highly recommend.

If your looking for excellent care for the four legged members of your family this is the place. If your looking for a animal boutique type of facility go somewhere else. Dr Woodham patched my beloved yellow lab together after a three dog vicious attack. He was a geniuine hero to my family. we were trying to get the dog to leave the stitches in and could not so the Dr. kept him at the clinic and kept him medicated till the stiches stayed together. The Dr. went back to the clinic every nite after dinner to visit with him. My dog loves this guy! We moved and had another dog treated elsewhere for heart worms, she
died. We came right back to Doctor Woodham. He has sucessfully treated another one of our dogs with heart worms and she continues to this day to be negative.

I went to Pleasant Point after reading some good reviews. My cat refused to eat and was shedding weight tremendously fast. After performing a blood test and some glucose tests the doctor diagnosed h...
I went to Pleasant Point after reading some good reviews. My cat refused to eat and was shedding weight tremendously fast. After performing a blood test and some glucose tests the doctor diagnosed him with Diabetes. We purchased some M/D food, for diabetic cats, a bottle of insulin costing $99, and paid for the visit, costing about $250 total. Within three days he stopped eating. When we took him back the doctor ran about ten glucose tests in less than a 24 hour window and we paid about $215 for the visit. They told us he was eating but we had to force feed him from the moment we got home. A week later we went on a pre-planned vacation and boarded him for a seven day period and when we picked up our pet we were told he was eating just fine and that his diabetes had gone into remission. Once again, he refused to eat when we were home. I opted out of this run-around after a nearly $700 investment. When I took him into another vet they confirmed that it would be nearly impossible to have diabetes and have it go into remission within a week. They performed an ultra-sound and found some disturbances in his liver which were causing the irritation. The Pleasant Point office staff was absolutely horrible, we never felt welcome when walking in, they misplaced our contact information each time we called, and never understood the diagnosis so we had to wait hours for the vet to call us back. We tried to find out what food they were feeding him, since they stated he was eating under their watch, but we never received a straight answer. I would NOT recommend this vet.

I went to Pleasant Point after reading some good reviews. My cat refused to eat and was shedding weight tremendously fast. After performing a blood test and some glucose tests the doctor diagnosed him with Diabetes. We purchased some M/D food, for diabetic cats, a bottle of insulin costing $99, and paid for the visit, costing about $250 total. Within three days he stopped eating. When we took him back the doctor ran about ten glucose tests in less than a 24 hour window and we paid about $215 for the visit. They told us he was eating but we had to force feed him from the moment we got home. A week later we went on a pre-planned vacation and boarded him for a seven day period and when we picked up our pet we were told he was eating just fine and that his diabetes had gone into remission. Once again, he refused to eat when we were home. I opted out of this run-around after a nearly $700 investment. When I took him into another vet they confirmed that it would be nearly impossible to have diabetes and have it go into remission within a week. They performed an ultra-sound and found some disturbances in his liver which were causing the irritation. The Pleasant Point office staff was absolutely horrible, we never felt welcome when walking in, they misplaced our contact information each time we called, and never understood the diagnosis so we had to wait hours for the vet to call us back. We tried to find out what food they were feeding him, since they stated he was eating under their watch, but we never received a straight answer. I would NOT recommend this vet.
