I have been taking our elder girl to Savanna Animal Hospital since we moved here almost 4 years ago. I can't imagine taking her anywhere else. We LOVE this office. Our two cats and yellow lab are all seen by Dr. Reis. She's SO patient, kind, and takes her time with us every. Single. Time. My one cat gets VERY nervous around strangers and will hiss when new people get close. I told Dr. Reiss this the first time she saw my cat and she took extra measures to make her feel comfortable. Dimmed the lights, talked softly, and let my cat come out of the carrier on her own. That was first time I hadn't seen my cat hiss at a stranger. We will be life long patients here!! Read Less

They are an incredible, wonderful group of loving people devoted to animals...I took "Louie" in- Our neighborhood stray- to see Dr.Reis because in the last two weeks, his nose had become one giant mess, too gross to describe, and he'd lost so much weight...well, we really thought he had no hope, but I believed that if anyone could help, Dr. Reis could, AND SHE DID! It turns out Louie is just allergic to gnats, and can't stay outside and they had been eating away at him...well, thanks to Dr.Reis and Caring Fields, they neutered Louie and got him some meds, and we brought him home...we are going to try and introduce him into our "pack", (Pudgy the fat cat, and Bourbon the wonder dog, but if we aren't able to make it work, then I think Caring Fields will take him! I am so fortunate to have found Dr Reis for my guinea pig. My 5+ yr old pig was diagnosed with lymphoma and I was very worried about her being put under to have the diagnosis buy she made it through just fine. Dr Reis and the staff were very gentle and made sure I understood what all this means for my guinea pig. I would definitely recommend this place!!! With a friendly staff they treat your animal with respect and love!!! Dr. Reiss is an absolutely wonderful vet. She is great with my dogs and always takes the best of care with them. She also makes sure the family understands what is happening.
