I am very surprised at the direction this office is headed. After being a loyal customer for years I'm funding out that customer loyalty is rewarded by a blind sided insistence on adhering to the "rules" which means charging me additional money if I need my husband to pick up my dog an hour or two later (because I have to be at work). WOW, thanks for working with people Chasewood. Dr. Maria should get involved with office operations. I do not think she would appreciate this. 2 or 3 weeks ago my dog needed a cortisone shot. Same thing happened. There were no appointments until about an hour before I had to go to work. So I asked if I could drop off my dog and let my husband pick up the dog when he got off of work (about 2 hours later) since I could not stay. They said they would have to charge me extra for that. Well the dog never got the medical attention he needed because of that. Again today I tried to get my dog in for his annual. No appointments available until I am at work. The office confirmed again today that yes, they have to charge me extra if my husband picks up our dog 2 hours later when he gets off of work. It's more the principle of the matter than the fee. Seems like Chasewood is after the money and has lost what made them special, (the way they always put the animals first). Now it appears to be money first, animal welfare and customer loyalty second. I guess I will have to look for a vet that can be more understanding and accommodating. P.S. - I already explained how my schedule is very tight and I don't have much time available to get the dog to the vet because I work 2 full time jobs, and one of those jobs is a 7 day a week job. A caring, compasionate vet with great staff.  Dr Maria spends a lot of time with each patient.  She discusses all the options in detail.  There is no pressure to choose the most expensive treatment.  The appointments have always been on time.  My dogs are always excited to go to the vet because she treats them so kindly.   I don't think you can find a better vet. Dr. Maria and her staff are wonderful, caring people. They helped nurse my cat back to health and worked side by side with the pet emergency that was taking care of my cat at the time. Dr. Maria and the staff called frequently to check on my cats status and make recommendations to continue and monitor his care. Dr. Maria gave me great advice regarding flea meds, prescription foods, vitamins and other meds I have needed for my pets care. We've used many vet clinics in many states, since we've moved alot.  Dr. Maria Lowry is one of the best vet doctors we've come across.  One of our cats has Lymphoma and was being treated by an internist, who was not doing such a good job of keeping him as healthy as possible, under the circumstances, and costing us lots of payouts doing one blood test after another, one anti-biotic after the other, which only caused him to lose his appetite make his situation worse.  His condition got so bad, we were positive he would have to be put down.  We took him to Dr. Lowry and, through her EXPERTISE and INGENUITY, she saved his life for another day, as they say.  And, she has taken wonderful care of our other two, one of which has renal failure.  She doesn't look for profit, she concentrates on the health and well being of your pet only.....an amazing breath of fresh air.I HIGHLY RECOMENNED DR. Best vet I've ever been to! I recently moved south a few hours to Palm Beach and needed to find a vet for my black lab named Dade. I was nervous because it seemed like from reviews there was 2 options in south Florida: outrageously expensive or cheap prices at a sketchy vet clinic. Luckily my friend in Palm Beach Gardens told me about this place, I took Dade there and I loved it, and so did he. The prices were perfect, staff was amazing and Maria was very very nice. She even drew me up a map of all the places I could take Dade in Jupiter. I have found Dade's vet for life, I definitely recommend this place! Read Less

My daughter's cat charlie is sick, but my daughter is on vacation so I hurried to Chasewood Animal Hospital, I was there a few minutes before 8am and they accommodated me.  However, they don't have a vet and we don't have an appointment, we've never been there.  Marina at the front desk looks at Charlie and thinks that he really needed to be seen by a vet asap.  She called several hospitals for us and asked if they have a vet available that early who could see our cat Charlie without an appointment, she was able to find Harmony.  See, we are not their clients yet and yet the way they take care of us was amazing.  I would highly recommend Chasewood Animal Hospital.  Marina did a great job.  Thanks Marina of Chasewood Animal Hospital! we took our very sick dog in on saturday, thinking that he might have to be euthanized.  after going to 4 different vets in the past nine months, 1 of them a very popular local vet in jupiter, all we had accomplished was flushing $3,000 down the toilet and had been browbeaten in a very condescending manner because we wouldn't continue to submit our dog for more expensive, useless tests and treatments.  no vet should insinuate that you are a bad pet owner because you have a budget.we were very upfront with dr. maria, and within 10 minutes, she had clipped a skin sample and put it under a microscope, in front of us, and was showing us the demodex mite crawling through my dog's sample on the computer screen!  it was as easy as that!  we were minutes away from putting or dog to sleep because other vets were more interested in racking up big bills doing complicated tests, and this wonderful woman immediately thought to do the simple, logical thing, even if it was not something that would line her pockets.  within 48 hours, our dog has gone from near unconsciousness to up and about, even pushing a his favorite ball around, begging us to play fetch! i cannot say enough wonderful things about dr. maria and her staff.  she has gained lifelong customers in us and our 2 cocker spaniels.  i will shout from the rooftops to recommend her and can say that i have more trust in her than any other vet, spanning 2 different states.vet care costs money, that is part of the deal when you own a pet.  but just like people's healthcare, most people have a budget and to find a vet that doesn't beat you up because of that is rare in our experience.  dr. maria is kind, compassionate and obviously puts her patients first, and that is why i totally recommend her. Had a bad experience here recently. Brought my dog in for dental surgery.  Was asked by the recep. if I had a quote on the surgery.  I said no!  DVM comes in and says $500 to as high as $1000.  WTF!!!!  For some extractions???  Were not getting implants here.  You mean to say you can't come any closer on price then near $1000???I was in the Vets face making an obvious point, your a crook!!!  Why is it these Vets think their all heart surgeons?  The animal was hurting so I went along, with the caviot We'll talk more when your finished.Oh to my surprise the bill comes to $370.  So much for +/-.  Don't be fooled by the staff loves my dog bs. All these vets care about is $. I'm on line looking for another Vet now and the same complaints over and over.  Money money money!!!  It's no wonder they can't keep customers. Imagine they want the office visit $, the medical test $, the drug $ Sell the food $, the sugical $ the dental money $.  Are they never satified.  A local Dental office advertises $25.00 extractions and these bandits want thousands.  The trick is get a  firm quote and call around.  They sharpen their pencil if they know you might not come backMaria the vet is ok, as a vet.  Nothing special!  Watch the prices on everything.  She recently moved from a biiger place to a smaller location.
