A nightmare. There should be negative stars for this place. 1) It's dirty and unkempt, which set the tone for the vet. 2) The vet seemed completely unfocused, unfamiliar with urinary tract infections, and she was alarmist, talking about urinary tract cancer as something that she might need to eliminate. She did a urinalysis on the the urine sample I provided, but offered no treatment other than putting my dog on special food for six months. My dog had a urinary tract infection with the same symptoms three years ago, and I had the previous vet's paperwork with the prescribed medication, which completely cleared up the problem in a week. But, she told me doesn't use that medication - that is, after she looked it up on the internet on her phone! In total, she charged me $67.25: $29.75 for the urinalysis, which shows my pet has an infection, and $37.50 for the physical exam. Looking at all of the glowing reviews for this vet, I am at a loss to explain it. Read Less

Dr. White and all of her staff are absolutely wonderful. I've entrusted the health of my fur-babies to her for years and will continue to do so. They treat all of their patients as if it's their only patient and you don't get that kind of compassion at other places. They also understand that budgets are important in some households and keep cost as low as possible. I appreciate the level of care they have for the animals and the families. Read Less

I've been taking my fur babies to Spring Lake for over 10 years and I have found Dr. White to be one of the best and caring vets ever.  Almost two years ago we had to say goodbye to my Baron, who Dr. White had cared for since he was 8 weeks old.  We found out the end of July in 2015 he had T-cell Lymphoma at the age of 5.  We, including Dr. White knew my Baron was that "special" dog and although I would have given anything to spend many more years with my baby we had to say goodbye to him on the 8th of Oct 2015.  Baron is still part of my heart, but I know he will also be a part of Dr. White's heart as well.  She loves what she does and loves all animals, but my Baron was as special to her as he was to me.  Spring Lake Animal Hospital and it's doctors (vets) and everyone who works there are the greatest and I couldn't think of any other vet I would ever take my furry children too.
