I was in and out for annual vaccines on our two year old weirdo cat. They were so fast! The fees were reasonable and on a personal note, Dr V took some time to offer sensible advice on flea treatment and grooming, as in, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". I appreciate a vet that doesn't overcharge!! Thanks to the staff fro prompt service!

We've been taking our animals to Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic for years. The staff has always been wonderful and very understanding. The veterinarians that I have interacted with have always given me sound advice on the well-being and quality of life for my aging pets. After many years of being with another vet, one that I had a hard time trusting, I feel like I've finally found home for my 3 cats and 2 dogs. Not only was the visit less expensive than I had anticipated, but no unnecessary tests run and found out boarding my diabetic cat won't cost anymore than if he didn't require injections. The last place cost me almost double :(

Reception area smelled like weed. I rescued 2 cats and was supposed to get a free vet visit. I got charged over $70. I didn't argue because I was just in a hurry to get the cats to an accredited vet to address the conjunctivitis and upper respiratory illnesses that both of them had and that this vet failed to diagnose and treat. The $70+ was for their second set of boosters so I figured I could chalk that up to them just on the cusp of needing them and those costs weren't necessarily the responsibility of the rescue I got them from. Maybe the lack of service I received was due to the fact that the rescue already owes them money and they were trying to avoid having the bill increase. I wanted to write this review to help anyone else that may come across the same situation. If it's a free complimentary visit that is accompanying a rescue, you may not be getting top notch service. Also, it's worth just searching for an AAHA accredited veterinarian to care for your pet. It really makes a difference.
The front desk people were pleasant but that did nothing for the health of my kittens.

My husband and I were snowbirds and now reside permanently in Lake Mary, Florida. My cousin had recommended Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic. We took our dogs there and are extremely pleased. Very little wait time, very attentive and polite staff, excellent care, and very reasonable pricing. While we were still snowbirds, one of our dogs needed medical attention for a skin problem. We also wanted his nails clipped. He was a 12 year old rescue chihuahua with a damaged hind leg, so clipping nails was always a concern. The vet tech clipped his nails with no problem and I commend her. He was difficult - 7 pounds of terror!! I have nothing but good things to say about the doctors and the staff. Finding a veterinarian we can trust makes our being Floridians much easier. We rescued a new dog in Florida last fall (a yorkie) that required a lot of medical care. Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic got him well and happy in no time. He needed his teeth done but was too ill when we rescued him. We took him to Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic a few days later for his teeth and, as usual, they did a great job. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic and highly recommend them.

We have been taking our multiple pets to Dr Dyer for the last 14 years. He is always kind, patient and so pleasant. What I appreciate the most about him is that he really takes his time explaining things to us and never rushes us out the door. I highly recommend him. I like the office staff generally. The 4 star is for the font desk staff. I think they need to acknowledge and say hello when a patient walks in- especially when you stand in front of their window waiting. That would be polite!

BEYOND to get all your questions answered 100% that's a biggie with me.
I went here for a second opinion for one of my pooches that had a serious issue but it was to late for her. God had a different plan then what I had.
This was a sad day for me but these people made it a little bit better plus
I found a reliable vet I can trust! & feel comfortable with the doctor.

I recently relocated to Florida and left behind a wonderful vet. I decided to try Lake Mary Vet Clinic based on online reviews. The vet was very nice (I believe his name is Dr. Sekar), and seemed to care about my cat. However, upon arriving for my appointment, I was met at the desk by a young woman who was flossing her teeth right at the desk. She made no attempt to stop what she was doing and proceeded to talk to me in the midst of this. No smile, no welcome, just flossing and handing me a clipboard with forms to fill out. I also noticed another employee did not have socks on, and just looked somewhat disheveled. There were several urine puddles on the floor that I had to navigate around. A different young lady took over for the first one I spoke to, and she was also the same one who checked me out after my visit. In her attempt to be efficient, she lacked any real personality or friendliness, and just seemed like she was there to do her job and nothing else. I will more than likely go back, only because it is close to home, and the vet seemed competent. However, it goes to show how front and medical staff can make or break the reputation of an otherwise good facility. We'll see how things go with future visits.

My pups and I have been patients for 23 years. We are so very grateful for all the good care Lake Mary Vet has provided to us. Everyone from the desk staff to the docs are kind and caring. I am now raising Canine Companion for Independence puppies and Dr. Vaughan has been a wonderful partner in helping these soon-to-be service dogs. Lake Mary Vet is not a fancy, upscale place; instead it is a down-to-earth authentic establishment where everyone cares. P.S. I just took another puppy-in-training to another vet center. The care plan contained about six costly recommendations MORE than Lake Mary Vet recommended. I went with Lake Mary Vet's recommendation and the pup was better in one day.

I had Charlie to two different vets and each vet said something different. In the mean time Charlie is getting worse. I called Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic and they told me to bring him in. Dr Vaughan saw Charlie and with in minutes told me what was wrong, gave him 2 shots and medicine. The next day Charlie was so much better and now 5 days later he's good as new. The staff and Doctor were so caring and really put me at ease. I will never take my 2 little dogs anywhere else but here. Thank you Doctor Vaughan and your wonderful staff.

Lake Mary Vet has always been very good to me. I have to go there every month to get food or pills and the staff has always been pleasant towards me. I have had 3 dogs that I take there and have had 3 major surgeries total done on the dogs 2 bladder and one intestinal. . All surgeries went well with no problems. They have worked with me and have always been fair to me. I have gone there 3 times without an appointment for emergencies on my dogs and they have always been able to attend to me.

We just adopted a cute little dog from the Seminole County Animal Services and she was sent over to the Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic to be Spayed. We went in on Friday afternoon and picked her up and she we very energetic and ready to go. The staff explained everything to use and made sure we understood all the things we need to do and look for in the proper care for our new dog after this surgery. I can't say enough about the love and carrying we both felt at this Veterinary Clinic. Everyone had smiles and no matter how many people came in, more employee came from the back to help them. My bearded dragon had a piece of kale stuck in his throat and he was not getting sleep or eating. I was so worried about him I called the first vet clinic near me that specialized in reptiles, which was Lake mary vet clinic. I came in and they helped me immediately. I was a first time customer with no appointment so I filled out the forms and was put in the system very quickly. 20 mins later the vet was able to see my bearded dragon. He was also able to fix the problem very quickly and it only cost $40. I am so grateful for the vet clinic! My baby is already feeling better. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a reptile specialist.

The 16th of December we came home in the evening to our 4 year old dog unable to move her hind legs. We immediately rushed her to an emergency vet who started steroids, but they were very grim on her prognosis and left us feeling hopeless! We followed up with LMVC the next morning and they agreed to try more steroids for the rest of the weekend, knowing we didn't want to give up on her that easy! By Monday morning she was "bunny hopping" and by Tuesday morning she was walking. She is still recovering and doing amazing but without the understanding of LMVC, Dr. Porter and Dr. Dyer, our girl may not be with us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! They will always be our only vet!

My dog Ladee fell ill this morning. Took her to LMVC, they worked her in as an emergency case, ran labs, did x-rays, gave medications and prescriptions. So thankful for the loving care they gave my baby and the reassurance they gave me. They are definitely the place I'll be taking my girl from now on! Wonderfully kind and caring staff. Dr. Porter was so great and explained everything as it went on. So grateful for everyone involved in Ladee's care. Thank you all so much!!

I've come here for years with my girls, but recently the staff of veterinarians decided to take two hour lunch breaks without a veterinarian on call during this time. Last Tuesday one of my girls was in trouble, I brought her in and no vet to be found they were all at lunch. I had up take her to another vet because I had no choice and she was suffering. I ended up loosening her. Would that extra time have made any difference, we'll never know. I know she's in a better place , but for the Lake Mary Veterinarian Clinic I know of another Very Special Place that y'all can go to !!!!!!

Chewy is better now thanks to him. Thank you Dr. Dyer for caring and loving your patients as much as us parents do. The staff at this office is amazing & caring also. They will move mountains to make sure clients are takin care of. Finding a Veterinarian like Dr. Dyer is not a easy task. I'm blessed to have been referred to this office 2 yrs ago.

I have been taking my furry family members here for almost 20 years. It is very clear that the staff work there out of love and compassion for animals.
Recently my cat decided to go to work with me without me knowing. He ended up in my engine. He had severe burns and a compound fractured leg. Dr. Porter came up with a treatment plan that saved his life. He only has 3 legs now, but the extra skin from his leg was used to cover some of the burn area. I almost gave up on him a few times but she never did! The entire staff took care of him while he was there. He looked really bad after it happened and now he looks amazing. Even hair on burn areas.
I have to say that it didn't cost us our kids college funds to fix him up. A very affordable price to get him back on his feet. Tonka and our family are extremely grateful for the kindness and compassion we have felt. Five stars isn't enough.

The wonderful nurses and Dr. Charles nursed my cat back to health after he contracted an urinary blockage, I was so worried about him being there for the weekend but he recovered so quickly with the help of the wonderful staff. I wasn't over charged, wasn't pushed for any sort of extra things needed to be done. My only downside would be that in stead of the doctor or a nurse talk to me, I was given the option. I don't mind it but in the heat of the moment you don't think of the questions you have when they give the medicine and your pet back all you want is to go home with your pet. Once I got home and was looking over what they gave. All the questions came flooding in but unfortunately they were already closed for the night. I should have said yes about speaking to someone. But its not the staffs fault. My baby is happy and healthy again and thats all that matters. I am forever grateful for the staff that was looking over him

I started with bringing my birds. 2 yrs ago I decide on a Yellow Labrador Retriever, as a puppy, Dr Vaughn and his staff treated him with love, care, gentleness, kindness and are very helpful. You are greeted by name and with a smile. Need a question answered? They are knowledgeable. Not only are Dr Vaughn and Dr Dyer awesome, so are the other veterinarians. Pay attention to your pet, do ask questions, be honest and follow the Veterinarians instructions. They do have walk ins as well as appointments. I highly recommend giving Dr Vaughn and his staff a try.

Dr Dyer is the answer to a pet lovers prayer: his extensive knowledge, experience and magical Dog Whisperer powers, make him the ideal vet. He knows my dogs intimately and always refers to his detailed files and notes to ensure the best possible care but not over medication of my beloved Maltese dogs. He had to put down my beloved Bambi, when his trachea collapsed all the way down to his stomach. He did so with compassion so gently and provided such moral support and loving care. When my second maltese died of a broken heart within 24 hours, his staff provided great solace for my heart ache and loss. We then rescued another Maltese, also a patient of Dr Dyer. All my dogs love him and actually follow him and his staff around where in the past my dogs have always run for the door. That says it all. Dogs have the best intuitions & so do I. Dr Dyer is like a small town vet with big city expertise and capabilities. More importantly, they treat us pet owners with TLC and actually trust our feedback and intuition, something not all vets do. Look no further. You cannot do better than Dr Dyer. This from a pet owner of decades. Plus they are affordable & NEVER OVERCHARGE!

I've been coming to Lake Mary Vet for over 20 yrs. I started with my birds. All my birds were treated with love and care. Now my Labrador Retriever started as a puppy. He's 2 yr old now and still gets the quality of care. I love Dr Vaughn and Dr Dyer. Dr Dyer saved one of my birds from bleeding to death. Dr Vaughn and Dr Dyer have treated our Labrador Retriever both caring, gentle, knowledgeable and honest. All the Veterinarians who woek there are knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. They take time to answer questions, even when they are busy. The staff in front, those in the back, etc, are caring. No complaints.

I was in and out for annual vaccines on our two year old weirdo cat. They were so fast! The fees were reasonable and on a personal note, Dr V took some time to offer sensible advice on flea treatment and grooming, as in, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". I appreciate a vet that doesn't overcharge!! Thanks to the staff fro prompt service!

We've been taking our animals to Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic for years. The staff has always been wonderful and very understanding. The veterinarians that I have interacted with have always given me sound advice on the well-being and quality of life for my aging pets. It's hard to let a pet go but they have been very good to make sure that it was the right time for them to do so. Thank you to all of you who work at Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic.

After many years of being with another vet, one that I had a hard time trusting, I feel like I've finally found home for my 3 cats and 2 dogs. Not only was the visit less expensive than I had anticipated, but no unnecessary tests run and found out boarding my diabetic cat won't cost anymore than if he didn't require injections. The last place cost me almost double :(

Reception area smelled like weed. I rescued 2 cats and was supposed to get a free vet visit. I got charged over $70. I didn't argue because I was just in a hurry to get the cats to an accredited vet to address the conjunctivitis and upper respiratory illnesses that both of them had and that this vet failed to diagnose and treat. The $70+ was for their second set of boosters so I figured I could chalk that up to them just on the cusp of needing them and those costs weren't necessarily the responsibility of the rescue I got them from. Maybe the lack of service I received was due to the fact that the rescue already owes them money and they were trying to avoid having the bill increase. I wanted to write this review to help anyone else that may come across the same situation. If it's a free complimentary visit that is accompanying a rescue, you may not be getting top notch service. Also, it's worth just searching for an AAHA accredited veterinarian to care for your pet. It really makes a difference.
The front desk people were pleasant but that did nothing for the health of my kittens.

My husband and I were snowbirds and now reside permanently in Lake Mary, Florida. My cousin had recommended Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic. We took our dogs there and are extremely pleased. Very little wait time, very attentive and polite staff, excellent care, and very reasonable pricing. While we were still snowbirds, one of our dogs needed medical attention for a skin problem. We also wanted his nails clipped. He was a 12 year old rescue chihuahua with a damaged hind leg, so clipping nails was always a concern. The vet tech clipped his nails with no problem and I commend her. He was difficult - 7 pounds of terror!! I have nothing but good things to say about the doctors and the staff. Finding a veterinarian we can trust makes our being Floridians much easier. We rescued a new dog in Florida last fall (a yorkie) that required a lot of medical care. Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic got him well and happy in no time. He needed his teeth done but was too ill when we rescued him. We took him to Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic a few days later for his teeth and, as usual, they did a great job. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic and highly recommend them.

We have been taking our multiple pets to Dr Dyer for the last 14 years. He is always kind, patient and so pleasant. What I appreciate the most about him is that he really takes his time explaining things to us and never rushes us out the door. I highly recommend him. I like the office staff generally. The 4 star is for the font desk staff. I think they need to acknowledge and say hello when a patient walks in- especially when you stand in front of their window waiting. That would be polite!

BEYOND to get all your questions answered 100% that's a biggie with me.
I went here for a second opinion for one of my pooches that had a serious issue but it was to late for her. God had a different plan then what I had.
This was a sad day for me but these people made it a little bit better plus
I found a reliable vet I can trust! & feel comfortable with the doctor.

I recently relocated to Florida and left behind a wonderful vet. I decided to try Lake Mary Vet Clinic based on online reviews. The vet was very nice (I believe his name is Dr. Sekar), and seemed to care about my cat. However, upon arriving for my appointment, I was met at the desk by a young woman who was flossing her teeth right at the desk. She made no attempt to stop what she was doing and proceeded to talk to me in the midst of this. No smile, no welcome, just flossing and handing me a clipboard with forms to fill out. I also noticed another employee did not have socks on, and just looked somewhat disheveled. There were several urine puddles on the floor that I had to navigate around. A different young lady took over for the first one I spoke to, and she was also the same one who checked me out after my visit. In her attempt to be efficient, she lacked any real personality or friendliness, and just seemed like she was there to do her job and nothing else. I will more than likely go back, only because it is close to home, and the vet seemed competent. However, it goes to show how front and medical staff can make or break the reputation of an otherwise good facility. We'll see how things go with future visits.

My pups and I have been patients for 23 years. We are so very grateful for all the good care Lake Mary Vet has provided to us. Everyone from the desk staff to the docs are kind and caring. I am now raising Canine Companion for Independence puppies and Dr. Vaughan has been a wonderful partner in helping these soon-to-be service dogs. Lake Mary Vet is not a fancy, upscale place; instead it is a down-to-earth authentic establishment where everyone cares. P.S. I just took another puppy-in-training to another vet center. The care plan contained about six costly recommendations MORE than Lake Mary Vet recommended. I went with Lake Mary Vet's recommendation and the pup was better in one day.

I had Charlie to two different vets and each vet said something different. In the mean time Charlie is getting worse. I called Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic and they told me to bring him in. Dr Vaughan saw Charlie and with in minutes told me what was wrong, gave him 2 shots and medicine. The next day Charlie was so much better and now 5 days later he's good as new. The staff and Doctor were so caring and really put me at ease. I will never take my 2 little dogs anywhere else but here. Thank you Doctor Vaughan and your wonderful staff.

Lake Mary Vet has always been very good to me. I have to go there every month to get food or pills and the staff has always been pleasant towards me. I have had 3 dogs that I take there and have had 3 major surgeries total done on the dogs 2 bladder and one intestinal. . All surgeries went well with no problems. They have worked with me and have always been fair to me. I have gone there 3 times without an appointment for emergencies on my dogs and they have always been able to attend to me.

We just adopted a cute little dog from the Seminole County Animal Services and she was sent over to the Lake Mary Veterinary Clinic to be Spayed. We went in on Friday afternoon and picked her up and she we very energetic and ready to go. The staff explained everything to use and made sure we understood all the things we need to do and look for in the proper care for our new dog after this surgery. I can't say enough about the love and carrying we both felt at this Veterinary Clinic. Everyone had smiles and no matter how many people came in, more employee came from the back to help them. My bearded dragon had a piece of kale stuck in his throat and he was not getting sleep or eating. I was so worried about him I called the first vet clinic near me that specialized in reptiles, which was Lake mary vet clinic. I came in and they helped me immediately. I was a first time customer with no appointment so I filled out the forms and was put in the system very quickly. 20 mins later the vet was able to see my bearded dragon. He was also able to fix the problem very quickly and it only cost $40. I am so grateful for the vet clinic! My baby is already feeling better. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a reptile specialist.

The 16th of December we came home in the evening to our 4 year old dog unable to move her hind legs. We immediately rushed her to an emergency vet who started steroids, but they were very grim on her prognosis and left us feeling hopeless! We followed up with LMVC the next morning and they agreed to try more steroids for the rest of the weekend, knowing we didn't want to give up on her that easy! By Monday morning she was "bunny hopping" and by Tuesday morning she was walking. She is still recovering and doing amazing but without the understanding of LMVC, Dr. Porter and Dr. Dyer, our girl may not be with us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! They will always be our only vet!

Not only that but they discovered that my dog has a heart murmur, and a heart condition. He would be dead right now if I had not gone to that vet! I owe them everything!

My dog Ladee fell ill this morning. Took her to LMVC, they worked her in as an emergency case, ran labs, did x-rays, gave medications and prescriptions. So thankful for the loving care they gave my baby and the reassurance they gave me. They are definitely the place I'll be taking my girl from now on! Wonderfully kind and caring staff. Dr. Porter was so great and explained everything as it went on. So grateful for everyone involved in Ladee's care. Thank you all so much!!

I've come here for years with my girls, but recently the staff of veterinarians decided to take two hour lunch breaks without a veterinarian on call during this time. Last Tuesday one of my girls was in trouble, I brought her in and no vet to be found they were all at lunch. I had up take her to another vet because I had no choice and she was suffering. I ended up loosening her. Would that extra time have made any difference, we'll never know. I know she's in a better place , but for the Lake Mary Veterinarian Clinic I know of another Very Special Place that y'all can go to !!!!!!

My 11 yr old Maltipoo was barely able to walk & in extreme pain. Even though Dr. Dyer was already overbooked this amazing caring vet said bring him in I will see him. Chewy is better now thanks to him. Thank you Dr. Dyer for caring and loving your patients as much as us parents do. The staff at this office is amazing & caring also. They will move mountains to make sure clients are takin care of. Finding a Veterinarian like Dr. Dyer is not a easy task. I'm blessed to have been referred to this office 2 yrs ago.

I have been taking my furry family members here for almost 20 years. It is very clear that the staff work there out of love and compassion for animals.
Recently my cat decided to go to work with me without me knowing. He ended up in my engine. He had severe burns and a compound fractured leg. Dr. Porter came up with a treatment plan that saved his life. He only has 3 legs now, but the extra skin from his leg was used to cover some of the burn area. I almost gave up on him a few times but she never did! The entire staff took care of him while he was there. He looked really bad after it happened and now he looks amazing. Even hair on burn areas.
I have to say that it didn't cost us our kids college funds to fix him up. A very affordable price to get him back on his feet. Tonka and our family are extremely grateful for the kindness and compassion we have felt. Five stars isn't enough.

The wonderful nurses and Dr. Charles nursed my cat back to health after he contracted an urinary blockage, I was so worried about him being there for the weekend but he recovered so quickly with the help of the wonderful staff. I wasn't over charged, wasn't pushed for any sort of extra things needed to be done. My only downside would be that in stead of the doctor or a nurse talk to me, I was given the option. I don't mind it but in the heat of the moment you don't think of the questions you have when they give the medicine and your pet back all you want is to go home with your pet. Once I got home and was looking over what they gave. All the questions came flooding in but unfortunately they were already closed for the night. I should have said yes about speaking to someone. But its not the staffs fault. My baby is happy and healthy again and thats all that matters. I am forever grateful for the staff that was looking over him

I've been coming to LMVC over 20 yrs. I started with bringing my birds. 2 yrs ago I decide on a Yellow Labrador Retriever, as a puppy, Dr Vaughn and his staff treated him with love, care, gentleness, kindness and are very helpful. You are greeted by name and with a smile. Need a question answered? They are knowledgeable. Not only are Dr Vaughn and Dr Dyer awesome, so are the other veterinarians. Pay attention to your pet, do ask questions, be honest and follow the Veterinarians instructions. They do have walk ins as well as appointments. I highly recommend giving Dr Vaughn and his staff a try.

Dr Dyer is the answer to a pet lovers prayer: his extensive knowledge, experience and magical Dog Whisperer powers, make him the ideal vet. He knows my dogs intimately and always refers to his detailed files and notes to ensure the best possible care but not over medication of my beloved Maltese dogs. He had to put down my beloved Bambi, when his trachea collapsed all the way down to his stomach. He did so with compassion so gently and provided such moral support and loving care. When my second maltese died of a broken heart within 24 hours, his staff provided great solace for my heart ache and loss. We then rescued another Maltese, also a patient of Dr Dyer. All my dogs love him and actually follow him and his staff around where in the past my dogs have always run for the door. That says it all. Dogs have the best intuitions & so do I. Dr Dyer is like a small town vet with big city expertise and capabilities. More importantly, they treat us pet owners with TLC and actually trust our feedback and intuition, something not all vets do. Look no further. You cannot do better than Dr Dyer. This from a pet owner of decades. Plus they are affordable & NEVER OVERCHARGE!

I've been coming to Lake Mary Vet for over 20 yrs. I started with my birds. All my birds were treated with love and care. Now my Labrador Retriever started as a puppy. He's 2 yr old now and still gets the quality of care. I love Dr Vaughn and Dr Dyer. Dr Dyer saved one of my birds from bleeding to death. Dr Vaughn and Dr Dyer have treated our Labrador Retriever both caring, gentle, knowledgeable and honest. All the Veterinarians who woek there are knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. They take time to answer questions, even when they are busy. The staff in front, those in the back, etc, are caring. No complaints.
