Unfortunately we had a horrible experience here. We adopted a dog from Palm Beach Animal Control 2 months ago, and had our first vet visit from the list of providers on the adoption papers. First visit was fine with Dr. Toma. Had a visit today for my dog with g.i. issues. Receptionist, Sherry, was totally disorganized and most unhelpful. She didn't inform me Dr. Toma is no longer there and we would have a new doctor. The new doctor, Dr. Dalbene was nice. She actually worked previously at Animal Control and had worked on my dog, so, no problem. The problem came after the dog was seen. We got a test done to check for parasites. Negative. We asked for antibiotics prescription. Doctor agreed .Receptionist refused to give a paper prescription and would not call prescription in to pharmacy. She had me call and of course the pharmacy can't take an order from me, she refused to talk to them after she had me call, saying I would have to wait until the doctor was available since she was now seeing other animals. She then informed us Dr. Dalbene doesn't have a DNI or DEA number yet to prescribe medications since she just took over the practice. She offered to sell us pills they had in stock at inflated price instead. What should have been a simple visit turned into a P.I.A. Sherry is the type of employee that will make you find a different doctor. We won't be going back.

Awful awful awful I wish I could put NO stars.He was trying to drag my dog to put her on scale to weigh her, I called her name calmly and got her on scale no problem. She was there to get her nails trimmed and she has to be sedated because she freaks out whenever anyone including me touches her paws. I should have walked out just him alone tugging carelessly on her leash. I picked her up and my total was $79.50, her nails look terrible and they trimmed her paw hair so bad and claims it was to get to her nails but is trimmed awful and uneven and completely unnecessary. Her nails aren't even filed, they're jagged but I paid for the file. He claims her nails are SO different from every other dogs and wasn't possible to get them smooth. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. I'm just glad my baby is okay but I don't recommend this place for anyone.

I take the time to write a review, normally I don't. I went to the clinic with my son and husband. We brought our almost 13 year old precious and beloved black German Sheperd. We were expecting the worst. Unfortunately it was his last visit. The staff was very compassionate. They made us stay with our Sparky as long as we wanted, which we all appreciated. I just want to thank them for their understanding in a very difficult time.

Very nice and helpful, also prices are affordable, way better than my prior vet. I took my dog because of the rash on the belly to Lake worth animal hospital (prior vet), my total bill was $400!!! for a rash.. it was alergic reaction to food, the next time it happened I took my dog to Dr. Toma office, my bill was 120$.. my dog got better in couple days, he advised about modifying dog's diet to avoid future allergic reaction. I am super happy with this place and my dog is healthy and happy!

We can't say enough good things about Dr. Toma and his staff. They are professional, caring and knowledgeable. The office is immaculate and the staff is always attentive and kind. Once you arrive you will feel comfortable and know that you are in good hands. Every experience has been a pleasure. We wouldn't trust our dog's health with anyone else!

Dr. Toma literally saved my boy Niko's life. His incredible precision, compassion and level of professionalism is unsurpassable. He took Niko in when the office was closed on Memorial Day. It was an emergency, my Golden Shepherd lost 2 liters of blood and his gums were as white as snow. When chewing on a toy, apparently he had bit down and deeply cut through the vein under his tongue in 4 sections which is critical. Thankfully, he did not asperate. Stitches would have made it even more dangerous so medical glue was used to seal the wounds. He was given two IV bags, one of Vitamin K and another bag of fluids for other nutrients. He is expected to heal in 4-5 days. An immense THANK YOU to Dr. Toma. Thank you so much. Niko is now home, safe and sleeping off his sedative.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!! They have taken care of my dog twice now only due to it being an emergency and I had no ther choice because it was the closest Vet. They get the job done my dog is well. But in two visits I've spent close to $2,000 which is way out of my price range. This time specifically they quoted me $450 tops and it ended up being $600. I've gone to other vets that charge less then half and do a great job!(St. Francis). I expressed my problem and they didn't really care but of course I had to take care of my dog and pay the fee.

Today, I visited the vet for a new puppy check up. The office in modern and very clean. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by Sheri at the front desk. After filling out the paperwork I was immediately taken in to see the doctor. His warm and caring disposition was refreshing. He discussed my puppies unique needs which included, her surroundings, household chemical use,pet interaction, vaccinations and dietary needs. As the proud parent of five pets, I am pleased to have found a new vet, Dr. Toma. We will be returning tomorrow with our three cats.

Both of my dogs have been going here since we adopted them; the staff loves the dogs and calls them by name when they're being checked in and seen.When my English bulldog had an emergency, the Doctor stayed open WAY past closing time to assist and SAVE my little guy. I'm always happy with the treatment my animals receive here and I would gladly recommend this Animal Physician to anyone looking for a new vetrinatian.

My dog and I felt very comfortable there. The Doctor and the girl behind the desk were helpful and caring and answered all of my questions. I adopted my dog from Palm Beach County Animal care and Control and chose this vet for the free visit given to me with my pet adoption. I would definitely recommend this vet and will continue to use them for all my pets vet needs.

Unfortunately we had a horrible experience here. We adopted a dog from Palm Beach Animal Control 2 months ago, and had our first vet visit from the list of providers on the adoption papers. First visit was fine with Dr. Toma. Had a visit today for my dog with g.i. issues. Receptionist, Sherry, was totally disorganized and most unhelpful. She didn't inform me Dr. Toma is no longer there and we would have a new doctor. The new doctor, Dr. Dalbene was nice. She actually worked previously at Animal Control and had worked on my dog, so, no problem. The problem came after the dog was seen. We got a test done to check for parasites. Negative. Awful awful awful I wish I could put NO stars.He was trying to drag my dog to put her on scale to weigh her, I called her name calmly and got her on scale no problem. She was there to get her nails trimmed and she has to be sedated because she freaks out whenever anyone including me touches her paws. I take the time to write a review, normally I don't. I went to the clinic with my son and husband. We brought our almost 13 year old precious and beloved black German Sheperd. We were expecting the worst. Unfortunately it was his last visit. The staff was very compassionate. They made us stay with our Sparky as long as we wanted, which we all appreciated. I just want to thank them for their understanding in a very difficult time.

Very nice and helpful, also prices are affordable, way better than my prior vet. I took my dog because of the rash on the belly to Lake worth animal hospital (prior vet), my total bill was $400!!! for a rash.. it was alergic reaction to food, the next time it happened I took my dog to Dr. Toma office, my bill was 120$.. my dog got better in couple days, he advised about modifying dog's diet to avoid future allergic reaction. I am super happy with this place and my dog is healthy and happy!

Once you arrive you will feel comfortable and know that you are in good hands. Every experience has been a pleasure. We wouldn't trust our dog's health with anyone else!

Dr. Toma literally saved my boy Niko's life. His incredible precision, compassion and level of professionalism is unsurpassable. He took Niko in when the office was closed on Memorial Day. It was an emergency, my Golden Shepherd lost 2 liters of blood and his gums were as white as snow. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!! They have taken care of my dog twice now only due to it being an emergency and I had no ther choice because it was the closest Vet. They get the job done my dog is well. But in two visits I've spent close to $2,000 which is way out of my price range. This time specifically they quoted me $450 tops and it ended up being $600. My dog and I felt very comfortable there. The Doctor and the girl behind the desk were helpful and caring and answered all of my questions. I adopted my dog from Palm Beach County Animal care and Control and chose this vet for the free visit given to me with my pet adoption. I would definitely recommend this vet and will continue to use them for all my pets vet needs.
