I though long and hard before deciding to post a negative review here. I brought my 10 month old puppy in here. From the moment I walked in I was uneasy. The energy was pure chaos even though it wasn't a busy office, think there may have been one other customer picking up medication. The receptionist was animal clueless. I brought my puppy in for a cough, which they tried to tell me was likely just a reverse sneeze (it wasn't, I'm quite aware of what that is). But what really infuriated me is how my puppy was treated for her nail trim. My dog is a sweetheart. Has never feared going anywhere, anyone, or anything. She is now traumatized of the vet and any machine like noises because the vet tech abruptly brought a nail trimming machine (not clippers) and went straight to her with no introduction and tried to trim down her nails that way. They then put her up on the table held by the clueless receptionist to try and hold her down, nearly breaking her legs (she's a whippet, fragile to begin with). I will never bring any of my pets back into this facility and recommend no one to do so. Read Less

I inherited a special needs dog. Through years of care by the Doctor and staff Angel was given the opportunity to live a much fuller life with kindness, care and support for both dog and Owner. They administered an injection to my dog without my knowledge or permission. I took my dog in for a nail clipping on her birthday, and they took her in the back to do this. I always find that strange and never understand why I'm not allowed to go with, but I let them take her, and told them she needs an XS muzzle because she may get upset. She weighs 7lbs. It was taking way too long- 20 min had passed. A vet tech finally carried her to the front and informed me that they cut the pad of her paw and she was bleeding. This was upsetting because in her 9 years, no one has ever cut the pad of her paw. But ok, accidents happen. Then she tells me that they gave her an injection of pain medication. I was so angry. This is completely unacceptable to do without informing the owner BEFOREHAND. I asked if there were any side effects, and she said no. (Not true... there are always side effects of meds). I left because I had an interview but called the next day to talk to the vet. The vet completely misses the point and tells me she will make a note in my chart. The point is that she should never authorize injections or medications without first clearing it with the owner, not just with me, but with every patient. It would have literally taken 2 seconds to do this. It is very poor practice to give meds to animal without consent. Please aware of this if you take your animal there. Read Less

On February 11, 2014, my baby, Wohdi was hit by a car and left to die in the middle of 10th Avenue. Two Palm Beach County Sheriff Officers were stopped in the road behind Wohdi and kept him from being hit again. They helped us get to the closest animal hospital, one I didn't even know existed. Wohdi was in critical condition and was in shock. I've met many vets, but not one as caring as Dr. Morales and her team. She was honest to the core and gave me the information I needed, to make the hardest decision of my life. They gave me time to say goodbye and even allowed us to wait for my family to arrive, to be able to say goodbye to Wohdi. So very thankful for those precious last moments with my baby, Wohdi Doo. Thank you, Dr. Morales and team, for every one of those minutes I was able to spend with him. The gift of goodbye is priceless and can never be gotten back once it's gone. I am not the type to write a review like this but I don't want what happened to our girl to happen to anyone else. Lake Worth animal hospital killed our 8 year old girl. We took her in to get spayed and some small tumors removed (that turned out to be nothing all said and done). Very long story short they the hit her colon during the operation. Worst part of the whole thing was I took her back in to the lake worth animal hospital 3 days after the operation because she collapsed trying to go to the bathroom. They blamed it on her eating something bad, Dr Morales advised AGAINST a blood test and said to take her home for the weekend. She made it one more day before I had to take her to an emergency VET and have a blood test done and find out she was in very bad septic shock. We has her cut open but by that time it was too late. When I approached Lake work Animal hospital about it, they tried to blame me for feeding her something that cut her colon. I wouldn't trust this place to cut my animals nails... I brought my kitty in for what i thought was just a urinary infection. Dr morales and her staff went over options and possible diagnosis and advised testing. after given an estimate, i went through with the testing only to find i had a blocked cat. it was now a life or death situation for my baby. i went through several treatments and all of the recovery instructions and he... now a she... is doing so well. i cant believe i sat at home one night thinking i was gonna loose my little guy and lake worth animal hospital was able to save his life. they put forth their best efforts and made him their top priority. i trust them with all of my cats and i trust their decisions. they are very honest and compassionate and i couldn't be more grateful. Lake Worth animal hospital is one of the cleanest animal hospitals i have ever been at. it never really smells like a typical vets office should. it smells of hand wash soap or just fresh linen. The staff and the doctor are very compassionate and treat my dog with the top performance. They are gentle and they treat each patient with the care they need. They always give an estimate. They never just do a procedure without informing you of the price AND they are the best prices i have found in lake worth. They can always fit you in for appointments and make you feel like your of the utmost importance; like you are number 1. When you walk in the door one feels immediately comfortable. The staff and Dr. Morales are extremely kind and knowledgable. You feel that your animal is their #1 concern and that you and your family member are their highest priority. Having been several times for my own pets and lastly for a stray kitten with a broken leg, I would never again recommend Dr. Morales or Lake Worth Animal Hospital. Having been unsatisfied with the treatment she gave my pets (2 cats) I stopped going to Dr, Morales as I found her to be inconsistent in treatment and her staff to be incompetent and borderline rude. I repeatedly got the impression she gave unnecessary medical services to drive up her bill. This was reconfirmed recently when I returned to Dr. Morales with a kitten in urgent need (my new regular vet being unavailable.) I was made to wait around for 4 hours while her and her staff chatted about unrelated issues in other rooms, went to fetch lunch and took and retook failed xrays (due to the technician's incompetence.) I and a 4 week old stray kitten with a severely injured leg (later to be amputated) waited 3 hours for Dr. Morales and her staff to get their act together and give us a prognosis. Long story short, the leg had to be amputated ($700 which had to be paid on the spot, Morales would not even consider a payment plan despite my past perfect payment history with her) something they would have know had they removed the bandage on the leg of the kitten ($33 bandage removal charge) prior to taking xrays ($80 charge.) A few phone calls later I found a better option elsewhere for the kitten, paid up my $158 vet bill and left Lake Worth Animal Hospital never to return. Lack of professionalism, lack of compassion, lack of ""morals."" I strongly urge anyone considering going to this practice to reconsider and look elsewhere. Read Less
