I love my veterinarians! All creatures has the best reputation. When Dr Latter was alone in the clinic, there was a waiting list to get in. I know because I was on that list. He now has the best associates working with him and I am always confident of getting the best care for my fur babies regardless of which doctor is attending them. The staff is great too. Over the past 7 years Dr. Latter and staff, have taken care of my 13 year old Corgi named Kroger. About 15 months ago, Kroger lost mobility in his rear end. Surgery not being an option for me, I sought out alternative options. Dr. Latter offered chiropractic, acupuncture and water therapy services. Within 6/8 weeks of the above treatments my old dog was back to himself. Just a week ago Kroger had his first seizure ever, I brought him in the next day, Thursday to see Dr. Latter, he took X-rays and drew blood. It was Friday at 4:45pm when I realized Kroger was looking rather lethargic, knowing they close at 5:30 I called and they said bring him in right away. He stayed and was observed for a few days. I am happy to report that Kroger, although a very old guy, is now on medication for seizures and is doing well. A wonderful place. We brought in our 10 year old dog after 3 other vets said to put her down. Dr. Latter and Andrea said they would never give up on her. That meant more than I cam express. They took her from unable yo lift herself at all to walking in a month. She did pass some time later and Andrea even helped us bury her. All Creatures Animal Clinic is awesome! When we moved to the area a couple years ago, I wanted to be picky about where we took our cat for veterinary care. I’d just finished work as a veterinary technician of over twenty years in another state so I felt comfortable with looking for someone who provided the quality of care I was looking for. I’m so glad we found All Creatures! They provide excellent care without being pushy or going way overboard. They’re friendly, the facility is clean and comfy and the doctors are personable and knowledgeable. Our cat recently became seriously ill; they saw him last minute, rushed him in, examined him and treated him and he’s on his way to getting back to normal. We are very happy with this clinic! The office is clean, and the staff are friendly. We have big cautious babies. The staff took great care to make our dog comfortable. They were even able to sedate him for a long overdue nail trim and reverse the sedation immediately after, all while we waited in the patient room. Our dogs have been going to All creatures since we got them as puppies at 8 weeks old all 3 of them. The Dr's and staff there are great and they go above and beyond. I have had one of the Dr's on a Saturday night leave his home and open his office at 8pm out of concern that a bone could be stuck in my dogs throat. That is true caring a devotion to your patients! One of our greyhounds was having some issues with pain being newer to the area I looked on some of the greyhound groups and found this vet.  We had an appointment on Tuesday to see Dr. Kidwell so we could find our what was going on.  Once we arrived the front  desk staff was friendly and efficient got us checked in and back rather fast being this was our first visit.  Once to the back the Vet Tech came in and gathered information on what was wrong with Ralph, I explained to her everything going on.  Soon after the Dr came in and was in the room a whole two minutes if that his exam was a joke.  He felt down Ralph's spine and when Ralph cried out he stated yep thats the problem we will give him some pain meds and prednisone and send him home.  Nothing else never checked him any where else once he yelped he was done.  Ralph continued to have problems into Wednesday so I decided to call a vet that was recommended.  I called in advised the receptionist what was going on with him.  She made an appointment for Sat to bring him in, which I thought maybe by then the meds will help and he will not have to come in.  Later that afternoon I received a call from the Vet herself and advised she wanted to see Ralph Friday as she wanted to do Xray's.  We took Ralph in this morning and dropped him off and he was with her all day.  After numerous X-rays, exams and such he was diagnosed with Lymphoma.  It was very clear to see the cancer in his stomach via the Xray.  If Dr Kidwell had taken the time to do a through exam this might have been caught on Tuesday, I am thankful we did not wait to take him to another vet. This is our favorite doggie clinic.  We have been with them many years and this is our 3rd dog we have been taking there.  We now know how good they are after taking our dog to the emergency vet this past weekend. It was an awful experience for my husband and I and our dog. When it was all said and done it cost us $500.00 for test that turned out to be incorrect,  3 prescriptions when he only needed 1. Vet visited with my then kitten for maybe two minutes, misdiagnosed her and prescribed the incorrect medication, no matter how many times I tried to tell the vet and technician (extremely rude short-haired blonde woman) that that was NOT the issue she had. Had called ahead to ask about price and was assured the visit would only cost $60, as my kitten did not need any medication or any other added expense. Visit ended up costing me $200 after unnecessary medication and a cone. Mother recently dropped off her dog here while she was on vacation with a brand new toy and food. He was not fed, never given the toy, and returned to my mother absolutely soaked in his own urine. Read Less

We have been clients for the better part of 16-18 years. We became their client after we adopted an Aussie mix (Mattie) from the SPCA 1998ish (we already had a full bred Aussie - Brandy and a cat - Lexis since 1995). Mattie became very sick a few days after having her, and Dr. Latter agreed to see her when our vet at the time would not. That spoke volumes in character about Dr. Latter. We have since lost our Brandy and Mattie in 2009 and 2010 and just put our Lexis at peace today. All Creatures Animal Clinic is the best clinic in Polk County! As a mother of four dogs, one with special needs, I spend more time than most maybe at the clinic. Almost a year ago my husband and I adopted a Catahoula Mix from the SPCA with a history of seizures and some neurological disorders. In the year that we have had her, and under the care of Dr.Kidwell, a once scared and highly medicated puppy has bloomed into a joyful and affectionate little girl. We have weened her off all of the seizure meds and she hasn't had one single episode!! Recently, she became ill and we were unable to find the cause. Dr. Kidwell was incredible. He listened to ALL of my concerns, and took the best care of her. He was devoted to finding the cause of her illness and was incredibly kind in the process. He has a sharp mind and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to his profession. He delivers information based on facts and he does so in a kind and compassionate manner. Poor customer service, failure to properly explain reasons for charging an examination fee for an outside referral procedure, along with a smarmy and argumentative tone from the receptionist just for a simple phone estimate regarding an ultrasound.
