we have been going to VCA for 15 years and 7 cats we've rescued and progressively every time we returned it was 30% more expensive and finally they have reached full unhinged delusion.
they have lost all touch of reality with their pricing and their whole "were we treat your pets like family" bullshit will not gloss their absolute disgraceful pricing abusing the budgets of households everywhere and clawing at owners devotion to their loved pets. vca does not care about you or your animal it cares about charging you the absolute most they can to the bone.
i pray you do not come here, go anywhere with a cent of sanity and realism to the state of the world.
a surgery where 4 other vets maxed their estimate at $1600 vca leaned on full on deranged absurdity and quoted us $3600.
you are all insane, and likely will shut down when people continue to never return to you as your inhuman avarice continues to destroy your reputation

Dr Puentes is fantastic. I really don't understand the bad reviews. we took my dog to her as a very last minute thing (my dog was in an EXTREME amount of pain) because my original vet didn't want to see him 30 minutes before he was supposed to leave. she sat on the floor with my dog to check him, gave him everything he needed and didn't let us leave until he was okay to walk again. she stayed an hour after she was supposed to go home just for us, customers she doesn't even know. she is VERY knowledgable and caring towards animals. she is about 30-35 minutes away from me and I make that drive to take my dogs to her. she is amazing!

Doctor Burlone and all of the staff at VCA Promenade are amazing. My fur kids have been patients of Dr B for over 8 years now and we followed her when she moved to VCA. The entire team is wonderful, caring, professional, honest, experienced, and very knowledgeable. It truly puts me at ease to know that I have a place that I can take my animals, whether for their regular check-ups or when they aren't feeling well, and they will get the BEST care available. My oldest pup started having issues with her eyes and Dr B worked tirelessly to research the disease and how best to treat it. When my cat needed to have iv fluids done at home, they took the time to sit with me and show me how to administer the treatment and make my sweet girl as comfortable as possible They truly are a special bunch of people and my very furry household appreciates them so very much.

Bad experience - they lie about costs and their only interest is to keep you coming back in for more visits and try more medications for additional costs with no results.
One person tells me there is no cost for a follow up visit and then SURPRISE .... there is a cost. Not only a cost for the follow up visit, but more costs because the original medication didn't work. So now "let's try this" happens for additional costs.
And what was the vet's response when I told her that I was informed on my first visit that there wouldn't be charge for the follow up visit? "I don't get paid a dime either way - I'm on salary." Which translates to "I don't give a crap, I'm getting paid".
The vet technician was no better. The first thing she did was try to SELL me flea/tick prevention before I even spoke with the vet. I refused to sign her documentation for the order saying that I wanted to speak to the vet first.
What happened to the people that actually care for your animals instead of making a sale?
VCA Promenade Animal Hospital ONLY CARES ABOUT MAKING MONEY. And they will continue to up-sell you until the day your animal dies. Which will be soon if you continue your care with this company because they just don't care about your animal, as long as you have money to spend.

Dr. Clarke is the most compassionate, intelligent and committed Vet I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He truly cares about my pets and has worked with me when I couldn't afford a $2000+ surgery for my cat that tore her ACL and hurt her MCL (very rare I know but she is a little overweight). If you need a vet and are anywhere near the Univeristy and 44th street area, go see Dr. Clarke, you won't regret it!

As a new bunny owner, I wanted to find the best vet for him. I called a couple of offices in the area that serviced bunnies and exotic animals and spoke to a few unpromising, unfriendly associates. I asked a couple of questions and they all responded with bland indifference to my inquiries; gave answers I could find online. When I called VCA Promenade Animal Hospital, I was connected with a cheery young woman who answered all my questions with enthusiasm and attentiveness. After making my appointment, the experience itself was wonderful. All the associates were super nice and Dr. L. Clark was so professional and helpful. I will definitely keep coming here for any of my little bunny's needs! I trust them entirely!

Doctor Burlone and all of the staff at VCA Promenade are amazing. My fur kids have been patients of Dr B for over 8 years now and we followed her when she moved to VCA. The entire team is wonderful, caring, professional, honest, experienced, and very knowledgeable. It truly puts me at ease to know that I have a place that I can take my animals, whether for their regular check-ups or when they aren't feeling well, and they will get the BEST care available.
