We just relocated to the area and needed a vet. Today its difficult finding a GREAT vet. We read reviews and decided to make an appointment. This was the best decision we could have made. the staff made my old lady feel great. She usually trembles at a vet. She was relaxed and calm. Then Dr. Gunderson came in gave her a great once over and she let him do whatever he wanted. For me the best thing about Dr. Gunderson was he really explained everything so we understood, he didn't rush us out like a lot of vets do. He even looks you in the eye while talking. My father always told me if someone looks you in the eye, their an honest person. all the great things about this place and we weren't OVERCHARGED as we were so many times in the past. If you want a great place to take your dog make an appointment you won't be disappointed.

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Gunderson for 3 years and couldn't be happier. The Dr. Always does a thorough checkup and explains and goes over every aspect of my pets' health. We have gone here with both puppies and he also is who we trusted with our senior's end of life care. The entire staff is excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. There has never been a time that I called with a question and didn't have an answer by the end of the day. I love that they remember my dogs (my whole family actually!) every time we go in I never feel like a stranger. I recommend this vet and his entire staff to anybody who asks.

After a month of tests, and still not knowing what was wrong with our 91/2 yr old, 10 lb Shia a poo, Dr gunderson still wanted to wait thru ano weekend to see if she got better. This went on for a month. Finally took her to ano vet and ended up putting her down! No follow up from the vet. Dr gunderson doesn't tell U the facts- he asks questions! Very disconcerting! You go there for answers not his mental list of questions! I think this is his way of telling you - I know more than you! We won't take our other dog there again!

Dr. Gunderson is the best of the best! We absolutely love the way he treats our Bugsy with such tender loving care. Dr. Gunderson takes the time to explain his diagnosis and treatment plan. He was so kind when we had to put our first pet down and was instrumental in helping us find our current pet (another rescue). I highly recommend Dr. Gundersonson!

If I could give Lake Square Animal Hospital 10 stars, I would. We purchased a schnauzer puppy in 2002 and I immediately took her to Dr. David Gunderson at LSAH. The doctor is a very caring man who obviously loves animals. The ladies on his staff are all special and caring. Our little Molly had some pretty serious health issues over the years and I couldn't have asked for better care for her. Last August we had to let her go and again we were shown nothing but compassion. If we get another dog she will definitely be going to Dr. Gunderson. If you are looking for a vet, I highly recommend Lake Square.

Best vet I've ever had. Dr Gunderson is a no-nonsense and empathetic vet, very thorough, and I feel like my cats are in excellent hands. In fact, on two occasions has saved their lives. The clinic is super-clean, and the office staff and other assistants are so incredibly friendly, and more important, very kind to animals. It's like every animal that comes through the doors are their own - that's how they are treated. Fees are very reasonable too. A wonderful and caring clinic for my kitties.

We just relocated to the area and needed a vet. Today its difficult finding a GREAT vet. We read reviews and decided to make an appointment. I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Gunderson for 3 years and couldn't be happier. The Dr. Always does a thorough checkup and explains and goes over every aspect of my pets' health. If I could give Lake Square Animal Hospital 10 stars, I would. We purchased a schnauzer puppy in 2002 and I immediately took her to Dr. David Gunderson at LSAH. The doctor is a very caring man who obviously loves animals. The ladies on his staff are all special and caring.
