I took my baby boy to 3 different vet offices before finding VCF and couldn't be more blessed to have found them. The entire staff whether it's over the phone or in person have been absolutely phenomenal, caring, compassionate and genuinely concerned for my boy's health my peace of mind and the financial aspect by always thoroughly laying down the plan and taking it one step at a time never pressuring me into anything I don't feel comfortable with. This was our second time seeing Dr Katie, and I'm glad we did. The first time and impression weren't great, but our 12 year old lab was really sick and we wanted someone who had seen him in his normal healthy state before this incident. The staff listened to our concerns, Dr Katie did as well, and although she wasn't sure about the diagnosis without further testing and biopsy, Dr Katie talked us through her thought process, what she felt may be going on with him, and why. She took her time, was courteous and respectful, and asked questions. We were asked what we thought and what we wanted for him, and then she THOROUGHLY discussed with us the additional testing and treatment options for the differential diagnoses. Most importantly the result: The old guy has been on the prescribed medication now for one full week. HE FEELS SO MUCH BETTER THAT HE IS ALMOST KEEPING UP WITH THE 1 1/2 YEAR OLD PUPPY! AMAZING!!!!! We are overjoyed that he is doing so well, and it is all due to the excellent care we received from Dr Katie and her staff. We must have caught her on a bad day last time, and Lord knows that even the best of us can have those. Everyone deserves a second chance. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a vet office. Dr. Katie has always been very good. However, today we saw Dr. Adriana Odachowski who earned her DVM at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She was rude to my family, and she was mean and cruel to my dogs. Her abusive treatment toward my dogs was appalling. After her nasty treatment of my first dog, we left before she could treat my second dog. I have never had to leave a vet office in the middle of the appointment, but I refused to subject any more of my animals to her scary behavior. Read Less

Did not have a good experience there at all. Wait time was horrendous and Dr. Katie was not very personable and did not want to listen to anything I said about my animal. We adopted our dog Liberty from the pound in 2008. She promptly made herself right at home and chewed a bunch of sound system wires. Dogs will be dogs (we hadn't trained her at that point), but this was a much bigger problem because she had swallowed a copper wire that was lodged in the top of her small intestine. I do not exaggerate when I say that Dr. Katie and the staff at VCF saved Liberty's life. Over the last 7 years, she has proven to be a great dog and a faithful friend... a relationship that I am certain never would have happened without the compassionate and competent care she received at VCF. From the nurses keeping her company overnight after her surgery, to the many follow up calls and patience when answering our questions, VCF is definitely focused on making sure your friend is healthy and your experience is amazing. We are new to the area and love our 'old' vet. Now we love our 'new vet'! Dr Anna is sensational! The clinic on the whole is very clean. Getting an appointment is easy because they are open 7 days a week which is amazing. Parking is easy. The staff are very nice and kind to our dog who is our baby and much loved member of our family. While we are still working out what is wrong with our dog I am very happy with the process of elimination we are going through and how kind and understanding Dr Anna has been throughout it all. She always returns my phone calls - often after hours which I appreciate. She has gone above and beyond and is clearly not your run of the mill vet! Go to her, you will not be disappointed! I had to take our dog to the vet this week because he was sick and the Veterinary Center at Fishhawk was suggested to me. I am SO glad that it was because Dr. Katie was amazing and her staff was lovely. They were kind enough to squeeze me in late on a Friday without an appointment - and they have late hours throughout the week PLUS weekend hours. Dr. Katie ran through all of the options and we agreed on a treatment. Fortunately all is well with our dog - Rita did give us a call the next day to make sure though! Between all of my family members we take a total of 6 dogs here. The staff and Dr's treat each and every one of them as if they are the most special dogs on earth. They have nice private rooms. It is very clean. We love the location, just around the corner from Fishhawk and they have very convenient hours. This is a full service vet center. Read Less

We haven't had a dog since 2005, so when we got a new pup, we asked friends what vet they used. We kept hearing the name Dr. Katie at VCF. We took our Riley for her first visit and now know why Dr. Katie was so highly recommended. The staff at this clinic is very friendly- they cared about Riley, but they also cared about us. We didn't have to wait around in the lobby and all our concerns were addressed by patient, knowledgable staff. Best of all there were no unexpected fees! I had heard that the Doctors at VCF were great, but I did not expect the rest. The staff was caring. The clinic is immaculate. They even offered me refreshment! I was early for my appointment, so I expected to wait a while, but they took me right into an exam room. When I paid for the services, I did so right in the exam room with my dog which was very perfect since he is afraid of new people. I can't say enough about our new favorite veterinary center! We had an emergency on a weekend,a time when most vet offices have limited hours. We actually called our regular vet, who almost didn't seem to care that our dog had an unexplained wound. But the staff at VCF was very caring and really calmed our concerns. They were able to see us right away, and the extended hours (7 am to 7 pm, 7 days a week) can really save money on an "emergency visit". The service we received is making us consider changing our vet. We were very happy and satisfied with VCF. We would recommend VCF to everyone. Read Less
