We have been going here for years. It's a bit of a drive for us from where we live, but so worth it. They treat us and our wonderful dogs like family. They know our names, not to mention our pets. I wish I felt as comfortable with my family practitioner. LolLast year before a holiday weekend, six members of their staff including Dr. Fonseca stayed late on a Friday night for emergency surgery for our dear dog. Such caring people!By the way, our dog is doing great now!

I have used 434 Animal hospital for several years. They have seen both of our pups, one was older and one is younger. It was great to see how the staff are able to adapt to individual situations. In the past, I have been bringing my golden to see both Dr F and Dr Moore. My golden has been having well visits since he was 8 weeks and is now 3.5 years old. This past week 434 staff have been super kind with our geriatric pup. Bella was a sweet old girl who just could not keep on any longer. 434 treated her with dignity and respect during her final week and was super compassionate on her last day. Thank you Dr Moore and staff for your kindness during some of our darkest days.

Excellent boarding. They met with my pets beforehand, and made sure paperwork was completed, and all tests and vaccinations accounted for. A receptionist did not find the paperwork at first when I was dropping them off, but there is good teamwork there, and it was found. The vets are nice. The care was perfect, my pets looked well when I picked them up. They are trustworthy, and extremely caring, warm.
UPDATE 5/30/18:
Called for more summer boarding, but the receptionist was very rude. Said that we could not board. Vague, and rude. (A week after the above review.) Finally, she said that we could not board because of the paperwork they lost right before my long drive down to Miami to catch my plane to Iceland last year. I had jumped through their hoops with obligatory exams prior to leaving them to arrange boarding, until the day of the trip, and the girl up front misplaced all the paperwork making me late for my trip, STRESSFUL. She is not organized, and she lacks customer service skills, callous.
The other girl was later nicer, she said my pets could board.... after being kept on hold, on the phone for 20 minutes...
They had sent me emails requesting a positive Google review of the service they provided. What I left was an honest one above. Then I was told they don’t want our boarding business a week later. It is a circus there. They don’t communicate well. It’s too bad because I did enjoy the vets at the time, and the vet techs that cared for my pets. They were nice last year. Everything had been great when I picked up my pets, they were happy. One girl at the front can be very disorganized and rude. The front office is unprofessional. Disorganized.
Like she said, there are several other boarding places to choose from. Take her advise.

The clinic looks good, clean, and well maintained. The front desk ladies were nice and friendly. I took my dog for an evaluation for a surgical procedure (after getting evaluations from 3 other veterinarians) and the veterinarian at 434 was great. He took his time and didn't just look at the issue from a far or rushed us to get to the next appointment. We will be going back to get surgery with him.

Reluctantly had to see Moor as he was the only one on staff. Was thoroughly unimpressed watching him fumble about (not the brightest bulb). Billed $45 for the exam despite the claim of a free visit for a "healthy pet". What constitutes a healthy pet in their opinion? My dog's blood work was impressive & he has no serious issues yet the exam was not free. Surely he'd have issues if he ate the food they peddle. These people are either incompetent, insincere or both. Either way - I'll avoid them.

Not happy can’t even describe my experiences. So many things have gone wrong that never experienced with my dog. Number 1 I’ve showed my updated vaccines to them and emailed it and they still don’t have it updated correctly in the system. I’ve taken her there for her annual in August and they still haven’t updated in the system and I’m “overdue” and get emails for it. Also get emails for vaccines that I have updated! For a year now! Number 2 which is probably the worst my dog never had an issue with her anal glands until the vet released them (by going into her butt with his finger) then told me that they were extremely full and needed to be released. I’m aware of how to release anal glands and will not stick my finger in her butt! Ever since then she hasn’t been able to release them on her own. Number 3 is another vaccine issue. I specifically asked them to just do a vaccine and that was it! I was charge over $100 for it!!! They charged an annual visit for it as well! I then was shamed again for not releasing her anal glands! Oh btw they still will email me to tell me she needs her annual done. I’ve tried to brush it off but I’ve been researching and speaking with other vets that say if she didn’t show signs or never had issues it shouldn’t of been done. I’m so disappointed and upset because now my dog has to get her anal glands released when she never needed too. I would stay as far away from this place. I wish I looked at more reviews earlier. That was a rough and expensive mistake.

I have been sending my little guys here for years. To be exact, I have been sending them here for 12 years. My parents and family have been using their services for approximately 20 years. My husband and I are so comfortable and confident in the services provided by the ENTIRE team at this office, that we drive 45 minutes with our fury family for office visits. While it is important that my husband and I are confident in the care given, veterinarian experience and the honesty of the 434 Animal Hospital, my little fury family loves them as well. Over the years we have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Ehlers and Dr. Fonseca. They both have been amazing vets and I couldn't have asked for better service, experience and genuine care. While my pets haven't seen Dr. Moore, my little princess kitten adored him during her visits boarding while my husband and I were out of town. She didn't want to leave his sight!In a nutshell, I would recommend this veterinarian office to anyone and everyone. Finding a good doctor for your loved ones is so important, which is why I basically make a small commute just so I can feel confident my furry guys are getting the best.

Dr. Ehlers and his staff are the best. I have been to a few Vets in the Orlando area over my 30 years here and he is by far the best. He cares about the animals. He takes the time to listen and talk and follows up after the appointments as well even on the weekends. The entire staff is caring - Jackie, Jessica, Donna, Kyle and everyone else. We have been going here since 1999 when we got out first puppy here in Florida. All the employees then and now are friendly and treat you with kindness. Last year our dog got very ill and I called them lat in the afternoon and aked if we could bring her in for care. We were told that they close at 6 pm but the would wait for us. When we got there Dr. Ehlers gave her a complete check up and let us know what could be wrong and advised we go to the aftehouse Vet in Casellberry. We took her there and unfortunately there was nothing that we could do for her. We had to let her go. Drl Ehlers gave me a call of condolence and we also received a sympathy card signed by everyone at the facility. We have since gotten another dog and take her to see our friends at 434 Animal Hospital.

Dr. Ehlers and his staff have guided us with sound advise, wonderful practice and compassionate care! I have never experienced a vet who goes the extra mile everytime, no matter how small the issue to ensure his animal patients are progressing in their recovery. Dr. Ehlers and his staff really care - and it's evident with all the tail wags and face full of licks they receive each time we visit the office. You won't find a better place than 434 Animal Hospital.

They have been our vet hospital for 4 years now and we have bordered our dog 4 or 5 times with no problems! We feel safer knowing she is in good hands. I found this clinic through the phone book. I had gotten a new puppy, and when I called them, they told me they do FREE New Puppy exams. My old vet used to offer this, but no longer does. Dr Fonseca was extremely thorough in this exam, unlike other vets who do just a very quick once over. Dr Fonseca is so gentle and sweet with my puppy. He explained what needed to be done for her over the next couple of months. My Millie is a timid little girl, but she trusted Dr Fonseca. Dogs really are awesome judges of character. I will continue to use this clinic, and would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Fonseca is the best Doctor in the area of Longwood. He knows how to treat his patients and his customers. Definitely, he will become one of the best Veterinarians in Central Florida..... My dog Ralphie is a rescue from the GRRMF. Ralphie came in looking very rough with skin, eye, and ear infections. He had been very neglected and had barely any fur left, but his spirit was strong and he loved everyone immediately. This was back in Sept of 2007. Ralphie has been in and out of the hospital as we worked on getting years of neglect fixed with help from both Dr. Ehlers and Dr. Fonseca along with the caring staff. Ralphie always loves to be at the hospital and Dr. Fonseca has taken to calling him ""Fluffy."" Ralphie and my 3 other dogs always enjoy being at 434 Animal Hospital and they and I would recommend them to all dog and cat owners.

Wondeful place. Dr. Ehlers was recommended to me by someone ""in the field"". What a difference from the vet I was using in Lake Mary to their office. I have used them for boarding my cats and dog. Along with cat care, dog care, grooming service and my latest rescue animal. When my dog needed a ""special surgery "" Dr. Ehlers went and observed her getting surgery. How nice was that to know our vet was there. Nothing but good things to say about their office. My sister took her dog there for boarding and they were honest enough to let her know that her dog was so sad and nervous while she was away (her dog had never been boarded before) that she should find other means of care when she goes away. That is HONESTY for sure, most places would just take you money and not tell you a thing. They are truly there for the animals and not the bottom dollar! I recommend them to everyone!!

We have taken our dogs to this hospital and have boarded with them many times. I cannot say enough about the care our animals received by Dr. Ehlers who is a caring and excellent doctor. He treats the animals as if they were his own. The care has been wonderful. Everyone, Staff included, have always been so good to us and our animals. They do a great job. If you love your animals, I would recommend 434 Animal Hospital for all your pets' needs.

Our dog was taken to this hospital / kennel for boarding two weeks while we vacationed. When we returned our dog had lost 10 lbs! (Checked by another Vet office) Not only did no one mention this significant weight loss to us as we picked him up (it was clear to us of course), but we also noticed that the promised (and paid for) grooming were not completed. We were also charged more than quoted - staff admitted to their mix up but did not change the bill. No, we would never recommend 434 Animal Hospital to anyone interested in trusted, good care of their pets.

I wish I felt as comfortable with my family practitioner. LolLast year before a holiday weekend, six members of their staff including Dr. Fonseca stayed late on a Friday night for emergency surgery for our dear dog. Such caring people!By the way, our dog is doing great now!

I have used 434 Animal hospital for several years. They have seen both of our pups, one was older and one is younger. It was great to see how the staff are able to adapt to individual situations. In the past, I have been bringing my golden to see both Dr F and Dr Moore. My golden has been having well visits since he was 8 weeks and is now 3.5 years old. This past week 434 staff have been super kind with our geriatric pup. Bella was a sweet old girl who just could not keep on any longer. 434 treated her with dignity and respect during her final week and was super compassionate on her last day. Thank you Dr Moore and staff for your kindness during some of our darkest days.

Excellent boarding. They met with my pets beforehand, and made sure paperwork was completed, and all tests and vaccinations accounted for. A receptionist did not find the paperwork at first when I was dropping them off, but there is good teamwork there, and it was found. The vets are nice. The care was perfect, my pets looked well when I picked them up. They are trustworthy, and extremely caring, warm.
UPDATE 5/30/18:
Called for more summer boarding, but the receptionist was very rude. Said that we could not board. Vague, and rude. (A week after the above review.) Finally, she said that we could not board because of the paperwork they lost right before my long drive down to Miami to catch my plane to Iceland last year. I had jumped through their hoops with obligatory exams prior to leaving them to arrange boarding, until the day of the trip, and the girl up front misplaced all the paperwork making me late for my trip, STRESSFUL. She is not organized, and she lacks customer service skills, callous.
The other girl was later nicer, she said my pets could board.... after being kept on hold, on the phone for 20 minutes...
They had sent me emails requesting a positive Google review of the service they provided. What I left was an honest one above. Then I was told they don’t want our boarding business a week later. It is a circus there. They don’t communicate well. It’s too bad because I did enjoy the vets at the time, and the vet techs that cared for my pets. They were nice last year. Everything had been great when I picked up my pets, they were happy. One girl at the front can be very disorganized and rude. The front office is unprofessional. Disorganized.
Like she said, there are several other boarding places to choose from. Take her advise.

The clinic looks good, clean, and well maintained. The front desk ladies were nice and friendly. I took my dog for an evaluation for a surgical procedure (after getting evaluations from 3 other veterinarians) and the veterinarian at 434 was great. He took his time and didn't just look at the issue from a far or rushed us to get to the next appointment. We will be going back to get surgery with him.

Reluctantly had to see Moor as he was the only one on staff. Was thoroughly unimpressed watching him fumble about (not the brightest bulb). Billed $45 for the exam despite the claim of a free visit for a "healthy pet". What constitutes a healthy pet in their opinion? My dog's blood work was impressive & he has no serious issues yet the exam was not free. Surely he'd have issues if he ate the food they peddle. These people are either incompetent, insincere or both. Either way - I'll avoid them.

Not happy can’t even describe my experiences. So many things have gone wrong that never experienced with my dog. Number 1 I’ve showed my updated vaccines to them and emailed it and they still don’t have it updated correctly in the system. I’ve taken her there for her annual in August and they still haven’t updated in the system and I’m “overdue” and get emails for it. Also get emails for vaccines that I have updated! For a year now! Number 2 which is probably the worst my dog never had an issue with her anal glands until the vet released them (by going into her butt with his finger) then told me that they were extremely full and needed to be released. I’m aware of how to release anal glands and will not stick my finger in her butt! Ever since then she hasn’t been able to release them on her own. Number 3 is another vaccine issue. I specifically asked them to just do a vaccine and that was it! I was charge over $100 for it!!! They charged an annual visit for it as well! I then was shamed again for not releasing her anal glands! Oh btw they still will email me to tell me she needs her annual done. I’ve tried to brush it off but I’ve been researching and speaking with other vets that say if she didn’t show signs or never had issues it shouldn’t of been done. I’m so disappointed and upset because now my dog has to get her anal glands released when she never needed too. I would stay as far away from this place. I wish I looked at more reviews earlier. That was a rough and expensive mistake.

I have been sending my little guys here for years. To be exact, I have been sending them here for 12 years. My parents and family have been using their services for approximately 20 years. My husband and I are so comfortable and confident in the services provided by the ENTIRE team at this office, that we drive 45 minutes with our fury family for office visits. While it is important that my husband and I are confident in the care given, veterinarian experience and the honesty of the 434 Animal Hospital, my little fury family loves them as well. Over the years we have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Ehlers and Dr. Fonseca. They both have been amazing vets and I couldn't have asked for better service, experience and genuine care. While my pets haven't seen Dr. Moore, my little princess kitten adored him during her visits boarding while my husband and I were out of town. She didn't want to leave his sight!In a nutshell, I would recommend this veterinarian office to anyone and everyone. Finding a good doctor for your loved ones is so important, which is why I basically make a small commute just so I can feel confident my furry guys are getting the best.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good and dedicated veterinary office. The doctors are great they are honest and understand that each animal needs to be handled differently.

Dr. Ehlers and his staff are the best. I have been to a few Vets in the Orlando area over my 30 years here and he is by far the best. He cares about the animals. He takes the time to listen and talk and follows up after the appointments as well even on the weekends. The entire staff is caring - Jackie, Jessica, Donna, Kyle and everyone else. I would definitely recommend 434 Animal Hospital.

We have been going here since 1999 when we got out first puppy here in Florida. All the employees then and now are friendly and treat you with kindness. Last year our dog got very ill and I called them lat in the afternoon and aked if we could bring her in for care. We were told that they close at 6 pm but the would wait for us. When we got there Dr. Ehlers gave her a complete check up and let us know what could be wrong and advised we go to the aftehouse Vet in Casellberry. We took her there and unfortunately there was nothing that we could do for her. We had to let her go. Drl Ehlers gave me a call of condolence and we also received a sympathy card signed by everyone at the facility. We have since gotten another dog and take her to see our friends at 434 Animal Hospital.

My family has been with Dr. Ehler's and his team now for years - through the joy of adding new pets and the sorrow of losing trusted friends. Dr. Ehlers and his staff have guided us with sound advise, wonderful practice and compassionate care! I have never experienced a vet who goes the extra mile everytime, no matter how small the issue to ensure his animal patients are progressing in their recovery. Dr. Ehlers and his staff really care - and it's evident with all the tail wags and face full of licks they receive each time we visit the office. You won't find a better place than 434 Animal Hospital.

I highly recommend all of the care facilities (bording, grooming, annual visits) at 434 Animal Hospital because you and your pets will be treated like one of the 434 ""family""! They have been our vet hospital for 4 years now and we have bordered our dog 4 or 5 times with no problems! We feel safer knowing she is in good hands. I cannot say enough good things about the Drs and staff. When I ask my dog ""do you want to go see Dr. Fonseca?"", she goes CrAzY-hApPy! She knows it means a trip to see her friends at 434 Animal Hospital :: )

I found this clinic through the phone book. I had gotten a new puppy, and when I called them, they told me they do FREE New Puppy exams. My old vet used to offer this, but no longer does. Dr Fonseca was extremely thorough in this exam, unlike other vets who do just a very quick once over. Dr Fonseca is so gentle and sweet with my puppy. He explained what needed to be done for her over the next couple of months. My Millie is a timid little girl, but she trusted Dr Fonseca. Dogs really are awesome judges of character. I will continue to use this clinic, and would recommend them to anyone.

My dog Ralphie is a rescue from the GRRMF. Ralphie came in looking very rough with skin, eye, and ear infections. He had been very neglected and had barely any fur left, but his spirit was strong and he loved everyone immediately. This was back in Sept of 2007. Ralphie has been in and out of the hospital as we worked on getting years of neglect fixed with help from both Dr. Ehlers and Dr. Fonseca along with the caring staff. Ralphie always loves to be at the hospital and Dr. Fonseca has taken to calling him ""Fluffy."" Ralphie and my 3 other dogs always enjoy being at 434 Animal Hospital and they and I would recommend them to all dog and cat owners.

Wondeful place. Dr. Ehlers was recommended to me by someone ""in the field"". What a difference from the vet I was using in Lake Mary to their office. I have used them for boarding my cats and dog. Along with cat care, dog care, grooming service and my latest rescue animal. When my dog needed a ""special surgery "" Dr. Ehlers went and observed her getting surgery. How nice was that to know our vet was there. Nothing but good things to say about their office. My sister took her dog there for boarding and they were honest enough to let her know that her dog was so sad and nervous while she was away (her dog had never been boarded before) that she should find other means of care when she goes away. That is HONESTY for sure, most places would just take you money and not tell you a thing. They are truly there for the animals and not the bottom dollar! I recommend them to everyone!!

We have taken our dogs to this hospital and have boarded with them many times. I cannot say enough about the care our animals received by Dr. Ehlers who is a caring and excellent doctor. He treats the animals as if they were his own. The care has been wonderful. Everyone, Staff included, have always been so good to us and our animals. They do a great job. If you love your animals, I would recommend 434 Animal Hospital for all your pets' needs.

Our dog was taken to this hospital / kennel for boarding two weeks while we vacationed. When we returned our dog had lost 10 lbs! (Checked by another Vet office) Not only did no one mention this significant weight loss to us as we picked him up (it was clear to us of course), but we also noticed that the promised (and paid for) grooming were not completed. We were also charged more than quoted - staff admitted to their mix up but did not change the bill. No, we would never recommend 434 Animal Hospital to anyone interested in trusted, good care of their pets.
