Being new to the area I was unsure where to take my cat when he developed a problem. Longwood Veterinary Clinic was recommended. I called mid afternoon with the hopes of getting my Crush in that evening, and even though they were booked for the day, they squeezed us in. The staff is very friendly, and the waiting area is spacious which I think is important because if your cat is afraid of dogs like mine is, you can easily have a dog on one side and cats on another with no problems. Crush ended up having to stay for a couple of days to get the treatment that he needed and Dr. Kelly Evans, as well as the rest of the staff, took such great care of him. Dr. Evans called me twice a day to let me know how Crush was doing and was very patient with all my questions. I knew Dr. Evans was a perfect fit for us,when she actually got on the floor to talk with us and to look at Crush. I knew right than that she loved animals and would take great care of Crush. Prior to Crush being admitted the staff provided the cost for all the expenses up front, which made it nice so I could budget accordingly and didn’t have any surprises. I had made an appointment to take my elderly dog in for his initial visit with them but prior to the appointment, he had a critical episode so I took him in without an appointment and unannounced. They were booked solid but still managed to get him in to be seen. Everyone from the front desk staff to the vet techs to the doctor were so kind and patient that I was quite pleased. The entire staff is great! They write out the names of the pets on a chalkboard to greet you when you arrive which is too cute! The front desk staff are always super friendly and helpful. I have seen Doctors Marble and Conley and they are both great! Before doing any procedures or vaccines they go over everything in detail with you including the prices. Nothing is done without your consent or prior authorization. They make recommendations and give you the print outs but don't pressure you to make a decision right there and then. I found their prices to be fair and average. They have very convenient hours including Saturday appointments. I also love that you don't need an appointment for pedicures, which my dog needs every month. Read Less

We had our first appointment here last week and loved it. Dr. Marrinson was great, very smart and did a lot to help our pup's skin problems. My dog is VERY timid around strangers, and he came into the room and sat down on the floor with her which was great. I think it helped her warm to him as much as she's capable of doing. I have never felt so welcome and comfortable at a vet clinic. The staff is warm and inviting, the clinic is spotless and has a very "Homey" feeling. Dr. Mable was outstanding with my baby and treated her like I treat her. I felt like she listened to all my questions and concerns and also like the fact that she suggests different products to save money. My appointments at Longwood Vet are always enjoyable from start to finish. From the minute my dog walks in and I see her name on the welcome sign to the great treatment that we receive during our appointments. My dog gets anxious because of her shots but is quickly calmed when everyone we encounter is so pleasant and sweet. It's easy to make our appointments and all of the follow up phone calls are great. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They greeted me immediately upon entering and escorted my cat and I to the examination room. The entire experience was comfortable and the staff put both myself and my cat at ease. I have not visited this office in a few years and they have remodeled since my last visit. I brought my cat, Whisper in to see the vet for a flea allergy. In all the years I have had cats I have never had such a wonderful experience before. The staff is very friendly and truly care about the pets they see. They understand about pets being part of the family. I thought Whisper would give them a hard time but she loved the treats and all the attention. To add to the personal touch I got a phone call the next day to see how Whisper was doing. I'm moving out of the state soon and am devastated that I will have to search for a whole new vet's office because this place is phenomenal. They have always treated me and my cat with the utmost care, and have helped to calm my worries when he's had to stay overnight for procedures or if he's just doing something weird. They even sent me a text message with a picture of him all doped up after surgery when he had to stay for observation overnight. Every staff member I've run into here has the best personality and they are always willing to answer my odd questions. They always ask if I have a favorite vet for my cat's appointments, and I can never choose because they are all truly exceptional. They just introduced new rooms for anxious dogs and cats with special treats, warm towels, pheromones, etc. My cat hates all vets and even he warmed up to them a little during his last visit. Just the fact that they would put this much time and effort into making your pet feel comfortable shows they are in this business because they have a passion for animals and aren't just here for the money. Speaking of money -- despite all this amazing quality of service and care -- they are pretty inexpensive when it comes to large procedures (and they run great specials on all the little stuff, too.) I was skeptical at first after a surgical procedure was unexpectedly discovered to be needed, and sent the receipts/x-rays to my cat's old vet out of town after it was all settled. The staff at the clinic truly cares about your pet. From the minute they pick up the phone they treat you as you are their only patient when you walk in for your appointment they personalize your visit by welcoming your pet in a message board. The wait is minimal and the care the staff gives you and your pet is amazing. They guide you through every step of what might be going on with your pet and make you feel comfortable about the procedures. They communicate well and check back after a few days making sure your pet responded well to their treatments. They have also been very helpful through emergencies, nothing but great things to say. I have been to many veterinarian clinics before with my Cali-Ann The Chihuahua. I have never felt so at ease before, until now! Dr Marble and her staff are exceptional! The last vet we went to my dog hated, he had to be muzzled because he tried snapping at the vet. When I went in to see Dr. Marble I mentioned my boy might need a muzzle because he had a rough time at the last vet. They were so welcoming and she got on the floor with him, gave him treats, let him get used to her, and little do you know he needed no muzzle, was sitting on her lap, and being a goofy lovable boy that we see at home. I've been a loyal customer since 1999. I am convinced I would have lost my first Maltese, Frankie.... had it not been for Dr. Rick suspecting Cushing's disease !!!! For that I will be forever grateful. Due to an early diagnosis, we were able to give Frankie many more years of life!!! Now I have added my Maltese, Scarlett, to the LVC family and I completely trust Dr. Rick. We adore Kristy, vet tech , who has been at the facility for many years. I always hope that she is on duty when we have appointments .... She is very caring and so good at what she does ! We love the facility; and I feel that Dr. Rick treats Scarlett likes she is his own dog ! So grateful to have the entire LVC team!!! We have had the opportunity to visit most of the vets; Drs. We love LVC, they are so loving to our three Dachshunds, Ox, Heidi & Ava Skye. After every visit, someone, sometimes several staff members call to check or follow up with us to see how pups are doing. The Office is extremely clean and when you enter you are always welcomed with a smile and a pleasant conversation with the sweetest gals up front. Not to mention, the oohs & awes, love & kisses to their patients! Our pups are treated with the most gentle care and compassion from Doctors, Marble & Rogers. The new office is so clean and beautiful and the staff is great. My cats are well taken care of, and the vets and staff are so nice to my one fat cat and other skittish cat. They also have snacks and coffee for people while they wait. My 4yr old appreciated the fruit snacks! The only thing is I feel a little sorry for poor Meatball, the office cat! He puts up with a lot, including wearing bunny ears for Easter! But seriously, they are the only vet for us! Read Less

We have been clients at the Longwood Veterinary Clinic for over 10 years now. I can't say enough about the wonderful staff at Longwood Vet. Everyone ~ the receptionists, the vet techs and doctors are friendly, professional and compassionate. They take their time, answer questions, exhibit cheerful demeanors and are loving to my animals...and me! Last December we had to put our German Shepherd to sleep due to cancer. Everyone knew Buck well and felt our pain and loss. Through tears, hugs and cards they shared our sadness and gave comfort where needed.
