I have to say, I'm really surprised by the negative reviews. I've had nothing but a good experience here when it comes to my pit, who has been here probably half a dozen times. Yes, the dr. is blunt and to the point, and doesn't sugarcoat things...but, he also makes sure I'm informed and doesn't rush me in and out, like other doctors. He spends plenty of time with me and my pet. He doesn't push me to spend money unnecessarily, in fact does the opposite. His staff is always nice to me and my dog, they always get me in if I need to come in, and I always get a follow-up call to see how my pet is doing. Read Less

Stay away this guy is a SCAM ARTIST, brought my cat in because I thought she had a cold she only sneezed twice , he walked in with a jar of a dead cats pyrometra and starts telling me she could have that , I said I'm here for a cold... he then said we need to take X-rays $225 and I will definitely be able to see if she has that , so I give in and do it only for him to say well it's suggestive and we need to do blood work to make sure $115 I got very irate and told them I was reporting them!!! Disgusting treatment , staff very cold .. Terrible terrible terrible I've never seen anything like this! An animal hospital that cares nothing about animals all they care about is the money and how fast can they get it we came in with her dog was vomiting blood the doctor refused to say anything about his condition nothing about his experiences with other dog with the same problem all he wanted was money all he wanted was to admit him requesting over $1500 will never again go nor do I recommend them! I think dr Peter is a ripoff and a THEIF. When my dog was acting weird and yelping in pain, I brought her in. After a physical exam, dr said she needed X-rays and bloodwork to diagnose...$333 later, surprise all normal, bring her back in. This time after physical exam, oh, looks like anal glands are infected. That's another $222! He should have found this the first time! THEIFFF! Never go here! Read Less

I've taken my little puppy to him since I brought him home at 7 weeks. This is the best vet ever- he spends time talking to you to give you advice, understand, etc.. and he really cares about these animals. Plus the staff is awesome which is always a huge plus and they totally work with you on determining what's most important when the bills stack up due to their rounds of vaccinations those first few months. I just recently got a puppy and needed to get it's shots. My sister recommended this place because it's where she takes her dogs. I set up an appointment, took my puppy in and was out within 45 minutes. The Vet was very friendly and had a great connection with my pup. I'll definitely be coming back and have this be my "go-to" vet! Read Less

My husband and I just moved to the area and thought we would give Dr Peters a try due to positive reviews. Our very first visit with our new puppy was awesome, we got all his first shots etc and my husband really liked the Doctor. Then, our dog had to have a simple surgery and the whole process was terrible. Poor communication from the staff prior to the surgery..Doctor late to appointments, staff rude. The day of the surgery they said they would call with an update, which is standard procedure from my experience with other vets. I had to call at the end of the day to find out info. We had a medication issue to which the staff told me to WAIT BY THE PHONE and never called back that night. After the surgery I came to have stitches removed and had to come back again because I came home and discovered the tech left in some of the stitches. TERRIBLE. We are finding a new vet. Read Less

Peanut and I both LOVE Dr. Peter's animal hospital. They are so personable that they greeted both me and my peanut by name. It's like they actually take the time to get to know the animals and their owners. Makes me feel much better about the actual care my dog gets. Read Less
