Dr. Leidner is the best, full stop.
I have been fortunate enough to have him be our family vet for 21 years. He was the only doctor that took care of my 20 year old cat (who passed away a few years ago. Indeed, he lived a happy and carefree life for 20 years!, which in no small part is due to Dr Leidner's meticulous and thorough care.
Last year we adopted an adorable kitten, and Dr Leidner was again the one to call for her regular check up, vaccines, and any emergencies, as well as to help us with the paperwork we needed to allow her to travel internationally with us.
The clinic is also perfectly set up for cats, as there are no other animals there to stress them, no barking dogs, etc.. just classical music and a quiet calming atmosphere.
If you have a cat, and you live in South Florida, he SHOUD be your vet.

I will never trust this doc your pet! He doesn't love cats at all! He's a weirdo! And had a very negative attitude and negative energy! When he did an injection to my 6 month kitten and kitten were still trying to escape (naturally) this doctor dropped my cat from high bar/table and he knew it's gonna happened. He didn't stop kitten from escaping, cat didn't realize and didn't expect to be on high top table when the doc let him run and of course my cat dropped!!!! He told me that my cat is very strong and has a bad character. Yeah when he's first time visiting doctor and first time have an painful injections. AND he charged the price he never told me when we have a whole conversation with him about pricing in advance. WORST DOC EVER! HOW HE STILL CARRYING HIS LICENSE?! Terrible experience!

We had a terrible experience with this clinic. They charged us and incredible amount four our poor cat. We kept asking for a quote or even when we could take the cat home. We were just told that they were very busy and did not know what our cat had.
All they want is your money, they could care less about your pet.

Vet for my cat for 19 years. Dr Leidner is the best, by far. Not just a great doctor but a real caring and professional. I wish my GP was as caring and close to his patients as Dr Liedner is.

Best Vet ever for my 2 persian cats! Actually one almost 2 years old and my other is 3 months. Let me say first off that I've never had a Vet respond so quickly to my calls and this included a weekend...
Best Vet ever for my 2 persian cats! Actually one almost 2 years old and my other is 3 months. Let me say first off that I've never had a Vet respond so quickly to my calls and this included a weekend. And best of all is that he's so knowledgeable and amazing with cats that he is the only doctor to figure out a stomach issue my 2 year old persian was having sense he was a kitten...I had 3 previous vets tell me they wanted to perform surgery to see if he had anything lodged in his intestine which clearly I was not ready to risk his life without more research! Sure enough Dr Leidner at Beach Cat Hospital got him on track with diet and he's doing AMAZING now without any further health issues!! I would never have my cats treated by anyone else!!!

I'm required to give one star. But if I could I would give this place zero. I'm a big time cat lover, and have had great vets in the past. My cat passed away some time ago. After moving to South Florida I am in the market for a vet for my new kitten. After doing business at the UPS store next door, I noticed this place and thought what a great chance to go in and say hi. I have photos of my kitten and wanted to know the sex. I could'nt believe the response I got from the doctor: "I don't think you want me to be your vet, I get paid for my knowledge". Really??? Just to look at a photo??? Obviously he is not a business man, and not someone with the kind of attitude you would want touching your cat much less doing any kind of critical medical work. This was the WORST experience ever. He is ignorant, uninterested, arrogant and very obnoxious!! Be aware, you don't want this man to touch your cat. I warned you...

Dr. Leidner is the best, full stop.
I have been fortunate enough to have him be our family vet for 21 years. He was the only doctor that took care of my 20 year old cat (who passed away a few years ago. Indeed, he lived a happy and carefree life for 20 years!, which in no small part is due to Dr Leidner's meticulous and thorough care.
Last year we adopted an adorable kitten, and Dr Leidner was again the one to call for her regular check up, vaccines, and any emergencies, as well as to help us with the paperwork we needed to allow her to travel internationally with us.
