Dr. Dominguez and their staff is excellent!! He is an amazing orthopedic surgeon and has many years of expertise! The clinic is equipped with a dental station, a surgical room and they even offer radiology services. He and his staff are very attentive to my pets needs he is always spot-on with his diagnosis and makes sure your pet receives the best care possible. I was referred by a animal clinic because my dog came out positive for a Parvo snap test.   I was in shock.   My dog had her Parvo shots as a puppy so at the age of 1 year and 7 months how could she have Parvo.  She was only a month late for her shots.   I was referred to this animal hospital where the doctor was kind and understanding.  He give me a price on the 4 night stay and treatment for Parvo.  The total came out to $1,200 (original price was $1,500.  He gave me a break) . I paid $1,000 down and would pay the 200 when I picked up my dog.  I spoke to my previous vet where she had her shots.  They couldn't believe she had Parvo especially at this age.  My sister asked if he needed to do the test again and Dr. Dominguez said no.  That he trusted what the other vet said and he trusted the test she did.  We proceeded.  The next day my original vet called and told me to do a blood test.  So I called Dr. Dominguez and ran a blood test.  Got the results.  Sent it to my Original vet.  They told me everything looked fine.  Just from the blood test the only thing that was off was that she has anemia.  And that sounds more like worms.  They asked if they redid the test and I said no.  They asked me to have her retested.  I called Dr. Dominguez to tell them I wanted her retested.  The receptionist called me and told me it came out negative...I told them I would go pick up my dog that same day.  I got there after work.  The receptionist wasn't aware of what was going on.  I wanted my money back so she put another receptionist on the phone telling me the doctor told her to tell me that the $1,000 I paid for the testing was to call it even.  Mind you.  The blood test is 140. I told them I wanted to speak to the doctor.   The doctor came half an hour later and was going over the fees.  Explained he was charging me 2 days worth of Iv and antibiotics for the Parvo THAT SHE DIDNT HAVE.  Along with blood test that I ordered. Feces test $14,  ( they did the worm test after they found out she was negative for Parvo), and Parvo test $75.  I explained to the doctor I was upset.  Why was the test not done since the beginning.  Why do I have to pay for a treatment for something my dog didn't have.  YES. MISDIAGNOSIS.  Between the back and forth of him arguing with him telling me this isn't a dog hotel.  I told him this could all have been avoided if he would have done a simple $75 Parvo test to recheck what the other doctor said.  I asked him if a dog came in from another doctor and said the dog had a broken leg,  if he would start surgery right away. Without doing testing. He replied with "I would look at the x ray of course. ".  He was rude.  He didn't even apologize for their mistake.  YES.  Their mistake because how hard is it to take the time to do a simple Parvo snap test.  It takes 10 minutes.   He got angry.  Ripped up my receipt   Told me "I don't have time for this.  I'm refunding you $500".  Out of the 1k I paid I got 500 back.  No medicine for her worms.  No nothing.  Just an attitude. He was rude.  And unprofessional.   I would never in my life bring any of my dogs here.  And I would hope anyone else does the same.  500 spent for medicine she didn't need for a diagnosis she didn't have because he trusted the other doctor from another clinic.   $500 for not even medicine for her hookworms.  Stay away from this place. The receptionist also told my sister her IV came off in the middle of the night and was put back in the morning.  He proceeded to say it came off at night and he put it back that same night ...no one is there watching the dogs 24 hours. Dr. Domínguez operated on our puppy's broken jaw in January. Unfortunately her body rejected the implant and they had to operate a second time. He is absolutely amazing, so caring, and very professional. The staff remembered Chiki's name and called to check on her progress very consistently.The pricing is very fair, and they helped us out a lot to be able to afford the surgery and follow up care. Randy is the BEST VET IN MIAMI. I trust him with my eyes closed. My two bulldogs love him and his staff. I do not bring my two leg son because Randy does not specialize in kids hahah, but if could I would. While other vets make you waste time with a bunch of exams he goes straight to the point, and sometimes the problem is something as simple as changing food diet. My 13 yrs old daschund had a broken leg and I was referred by my wonderful vet Dr Rodriguez to Dr Dominguez and was the best decision done for my dog that having heart, liver and arthritis problems went trough a very difficult broken leg surgery and made it extremely well. By accident my doggie Steffi ate a ribs bone and since that moment she was not herself. I went to some Vet's office who performed X-rays studies on my doggie in order to see if she had something stuck. The doctor told me that everything was fine, that my doggie was just acting weird because of the trauma of vomiting the bone. I made the mistake to listen to that Vet. After three days my doggie was getting worse and I was very worry. Steffi is part of my family and I could not think in the possibility of something bad happen to her. A friend recommend me to go to Dr. Randy's clinic. He saw the X-rays and told me that he was SURE that she had a bone stucked on her esophagus that it was extremely necessary to go into surgery and take the bone out. Dr. Randy was not interested in money. He gave me a really affordable price and cleared his agenda in order to take care of my doggie. All the staff (Fernando, Roberto and Dr. Randy) made me, and my family feel that we were in good hands. They took care of her after the surgery in a magnificent way. My family has been coming here since we got our yorkie six years ago. As anyone with a pure bred knows, they come with a lot of genetic issues. We first came to his office when our dog had a problem with her patellas and needed surgery twice. Dr. Dominguez explained everything to us and was very empathetic. We got to visit our dog while she was recovering from surgery and she looked comfortable and well-taken care of. After her first two surgeries we've come back a couple of times (for separate health issues) and Dr. Dominguez has always been kind and considerate to us, listening to all our concerns and usually prescribing some home remedy or a change of diet or a product we can get on Amazon. Neither he nor his staff have ever pushed us to buy anything or to come back if it wasn't necessary. He knows our dog is prone to health issues so he's always given us options concerning her treatment because it can get so expensive. I appreciate how he and his staff have talked us through the bill, explaining why she needs this or how we can choose to buy this other thing online. The staff is really great, they all seem to be animal lovers and even know our dog by name. We come here more often than we go to our regular vet because here our yorkie is treated like a patient and not just another customer. Read Less

I came across Dr Randy because my Chihuahua had to have surgery and all the other vets I took her to they were all about money, Dr Randy and his staff were the only ones that makes us feel like they really care about my dog, it was very difficult for us she was just a puppy and with the help of Dr Randy and his wonderful staff they made the process so much easier. the surgery was a success, my dog is in great shape, and we are just so thankful and blessed to have Dr Randy as our vet, I will not take her anywhere else, I don't mind driving, the care that my dogs receive there I can't find it anywhere else. Dr. Dominguez is by far the most compassionate, talented and honest vet I have ever come across. I have been taking my dog Luche and cat Brony to him for years. He performed two surgeries on Luche along with regular check-up and vaccinations and spayed my cat Brony.  Call me crazy but I treat and care for my pets as if they're my actual children and Dr. Dominguez treats them as if they were his own. I can honestly say this doctor is the best vet I've visited. I truly trust him to take care of my two cats. Unfortunately, my cat got hurt and I had to rush him to a clinic asap, this was the nearest vet clinic to me so I had to rush him here since my regular vet is in Doral. I am so happy with Dr Dominguez. My cat Prince was hit by a car in the back part of his body and Dr Dominguez helped him with his injuries. He was so attentive and caring. I reluctantly called after reading the previous review, only because I saw this doctor come up in a public TV program, Vme TV, and he seemed very knowledgeable on traumatic limb injuries... However, I must have called this place at least 10 times in different hours of the afternoon and they did not answer. on the 10th and final call some guy answered the phone and he spoke so fast I could not even tell if this was the hospital. I had to ask him again where I was calling to make sure I had the right place.I then told him that I had been trying to get a hold of them in numerous times and his repose was... None... He stayed quiet on the line until I said hello again.If this is their customer service, I can only wonder what the rest of the services are like.Another weird thing is that I found almost no reviews on this clinic or the doctor. I brought my tiny long haired chihuahua here in late May/April of 2011. She was about 8 or 9 at the time and near death. She would have died had I not taken immediate action. The procedure was costly (we had no pet insurance) but very much worth it. I have no complaints and her home recovery went smoothly. Her stitches healed beautifully although they were hard to look at on such a tiny (and chubby) dog. Out of all the vets I've visited in south Florida none have made me feel as comfortable as this clinic. I met Dr. Dominguez about three years ago when he was recommended by a friend. I had just gotten a Miniature Schnauzer puppy and he had been taking care of the mother and her litter. He was so loving towards my pet and took care of her like he would his own. I fell in love with the Animal Care & Surgical Hospital for its cleanliness and with its personnel for their professionalism.  My puppy had to have her  dewclaws removed in all four legs, and later on she was spayed.  Incredible how her wounds healed with no problem. Last week, I had to take my other dog, also a Miniature Schnauzer, because she fell ill. Dr. Dominguez examined her, did all the necessary blood work and x-rays, and she was diagnosed with swollen pancreas and bladder stones. He kept her at the Hospital under supervision, for treatment. A week later operated and removed her stones, and not even 2 weeks later, my beautiful dog is back to her usual playful self. If I could give this place zero star's, I would. I brought my cat to get spayed here and it has been a nightmare. The doctor didn't put any stitches on her.  HOW DO YOU NOT PUT STITCHES? I followed up a week later and he said it was infected.  $25 for an antiseptic spray.  4 days later the operation opened, like a butterfly you could see inside.  I raced back and he gave her an antibiotic injection $80. After a month and a half, her  surgery would just not heal so I took her to another hospital and the surgery to fix her was a low, low price of $800. Every single doctor and nurse that saw her kept asking who butchered my cat.  Every doctor agreed that the regular procedure for spaying a cat included 2, if not 3 layers of stitches to keep everything in place since it has a lot of pressure. Amazing place. My cat was attacked by two dogs. It did not look like anyone could save him. Dr. Randy Dominguez saved his life with an incredible surgery.
