Would highly recommend their services in comparison to another overated practices in the county. The moment a vet tech. passed the call personally over to the vet to address my concerns I knew this was the place. Afterall the Dr. Sharon MacIvor Bauer could have been busy with pet patients. I noticed she is well concerned with pets & owners. It's more than business or practice I felt like family. So my advice do your homework & gave them a shot. You won't regret it.

I have two little dogs and I them more than anything in the world they're my babies there my little fur babies and they mean more to me than anything so when they get sick I take them to the doctor right off the bat. I just moved to Florida I didn't have a vet and the first place I took them was Dadeland and he's a very good vet and he took very good care of my babies. And I plan on making him my vet from now on. He's within 1 mile of my home and I will from now on take my babies to see Dadeland Animal Hospital when I need to take them to the vet.

I called other exotic vets and all the prices are so high while here its a reasonable price. Definitely recommend going here.

My dog had a mass on the underside of his neck and was diagnosis by Dr. Cristian Perales as a blocked salivary gland and proceed to take blood tests to undergo the implant of a drain to remove the excess saliva under his neck skin. Negligently disregarding red flags pointing to liver damage and hypothyroidism, which where very serious conditions that would have effected the consideration of the surgery or taken a completely different aproach. During the implantation of the drain my dog aquired an infection. Then Dr. Perales suggested a complete regional lymph node removal with 50/50 chances of life and death. We went to Carballo Animal Clinic who told us it was much to late and the infection produced by the surgery preformed by Dr. Perales moved into the blood stream and caused his death. If you love your dog or cat or any animal take him anywhere else in Miami. Learn from my hands and the pain of a lost family member.

She's the most hard-working, experienced and knowledgeable vet I've ever met--and makes it a point to be the most affordable. She's a no-BS type of person, and saved my incredibly sick pound pup from the usually deadly distemper. Another vet misdiagnosed my dog as having Kennel Cough, but Dr. M-B had no trouble diagnosing him correctly and treating him appropriately. What's best, she did it at the lowest possible cost to me, filling out prescriptions for me to take to Publix where the medicine was FREE (for an antibiotic the other vet charged me $60 for) and eventually let me know when it was okay to stop treatment because my dog was going to be fine. She saw me daily for weeks without charging me for the visits, only his (discounted) treatments, and obviously cared very much for the health of my dog. The other vet I took my dog to sounded sympathetic, all while running useless tests to run up my bill and never listened to me while I tried to explain his symptoms, but Dr. M-B showed her caring through her actions. She treated my dog away from all other animals, as distemper is highly contagious, when the other vet's office clearly did not care. She heard me out, explained his condition and details about his care, and eventually saved his life. I could never repay her for that, because now my dog is healthy, and I believe to this day that my dog would be dead if I hadn't found her. If you need the very best vet, then save yourself the trouble and just go to her.

I took my baby girl Maya there and was greeted very warmly by a very good friendly staff. I have to admit I was as nervous as she was, however, one of the staff Mr. Jeffrey Goya assured me there was nothing to be afraid of and he would make sure she was completely accomodated during her surgery. He followed up with me this morning making sure she was ok and recovering fine. Thank you to everyone at Dadeland Animal Hospital, I will be a HAPPY returning customer.

The Hospital has a large amount of emergencies and clients. The staff members were friendly, helpful and did the best they can to heal my cat and prepare a good treatment for him. He was very ill and wounded. However, the Dr. did the best she could and the cat started to eat once again and drink fluids. My cat had small chances of living but i believe that the Dr's treatment and procedures were the best option, so too, they seem to work.

Glad we found out about Dadeland Animal Hospital a couple years ago. It was and is worth it! Easy parking and great location, right off US1. It's always nice and clean even if they have to rush out to clean what your/my dog just did!. The personnel are courteous and attentive and mainly, take care of your pet (in my case two dogs) very well. I have a dog that got diabetes about 1 year ago and although it is a little extra work to keep his blood sugar level under control it's worth it and he is still with us thanks to Dadeland Animal Hospital.

I am an animal lover , and have met many veterinarians in the past, but I must admit that Dr.Maclover-Bauer is amazing and caring. I arrived with a very sick cat to her office that had just been ran over by a car on New Year's day. After the doctor assessed the cat, she immediately decided that the cat needed surgery . She didn't worry about the holiday or the time. The cat was quickly taken and prepped for surgery. After the surgery Dr.Maclover-Bauer went over the surgical details with us and explained the plan of care. The surgery was successful but the cat was still in critical condition. Dr.Maclover put lots of love and care into saving the cats life!! The staff was also wonderful and caring. The cat is ready to be picked up tomorrow after being in recovery for a week and we are very excited! Thanks to the doctors knowledge the cat now has a second chance. I will be recommending this great place to all my family and friends!!!

I have a 12-year-old cat recently diagnosed with diabetes. After a *nightmarish* 2 weeks under the care of another vet (with nothing resolved), I was referred to Dr. MacIvor-Bauer by a family friend (who is also a vet). Dr. MacIvor-Bauer saw my cat immediately and has begun a brand-new regimen for him. He hasn't even needed hospitalization! Last week, my husband and I were angry and frustrated (and a lot of tears shed). We are now extremely grateful to have someone like Dr. MacIvor-Bauer working with him. She is extremely knowledgeable on the subject of feline diabetes, and my cat has been home this week and is doing well. She has also been very understanding as we explained how much money we have already spent on his care. Her staff is very caring and even knows us by name (after only a week)! My little Bailey is lucky to have her as his Dr.!!

Two weeks ago I rushed to Dadeland Animal Hospital for the first time. My dear dog Candy, was very sick, the doctor was at a meeting when I arrived. She rushed to the office to see her. My precious baby was dieing, I didn't even have the money to cover for all the expenses and she only wanted to save Candy's life. She put all her effort and her personal care and love including her staff. For one week Dr. Sharon was trying to safe her even though she was 16 years old. For me it was a beautiful experience knowing that Dr. Sharon Maclvor-Bauer and her staff did not know me and gave me so much love and attention for my dog and my family. I just want to say Thank You from the bottom of my heart. Don't have any doubt to seek her services as you will only receive the best service and care from Dr. Maclvor-Bauer and her staff! Thank you again for your kindness. I will never forget what you did for my Candy. I will recommend your services to all my friends and family. Dadeland Animal Hospital has a peaceful and welcoming positive energy from the moment you enter. My partner and I own several dogs and cats, we have been seeing numerous veterinarians for the past several years. Dadeland Animal Hospital is by far, the best in all of southern Florida. Dr.Sharon MacIvor-Bauer and her staff are the angels of Miami, I myself consider Dr.Sharon MacIvor-Bauer the Saint of animals. I can not begin to express my graditude, she saved our dog Buster from Parvo, a horrifying disease, and a very serious viral infection. Sharon MacIvor-Bauer DVM is an exceptional doctor & person, attentive, kind, wise, balanced, calm, sympathetic, she is a superlative women and vet. I have recently learned she attends many educational and charity events on top of her already busy schedule. Dadeland Animal Hospital is run with the percision of a military operation, the staff responds to attention and order, you can eat off the floors. When i took my dog, Bandit to Dr. MacIvor she saved him after he was hit by a car. Not only did she put a lot of time and effort into doing so she helped me out since i could not afford the services. She gave me great prices and saved Bandit Additionally i have been going back ever since, (5 years), with my cat Bella as well and the treatment i receive is always great. She has a tightly run office, that is clean and has been recently renovated, along with an awesome staff who really love the animals. I highly recommend her and her hospital.

The moment a vet tech. passed the call personally over to the vet to address my concerns I knew this was the place. Afterall the Dr. Sharon MacIvor Bauer could have been busy with pet patients. I noticed she is well concerned with pets & owners. It's more than business or practice I felt like family. So my advice do your homework & gave them a shot. You won't regret it.

I have two little dogs and I them more than anything in the world they're my babies there my little fur babies and they mean more to me than anything so when they get sick I take them to the doctor right off the bat. I just moved to Florida I didn't have a vet and the first place I took them was Dadeland and he's a very good vet and he took very good care of my babies. And I plan on making him my vet from now on. He's within 1 mile of my home and I will from now on take my babies to see Dadeland Animal Hospital when I need to take them to the vet.

My dog had a mass on the underside of his neck and was diagnosis by Dr. Cristian Perales as a blocked salivary gland and proceed to take blood tests to undergo the implant of a drain to remove the excess saliva under his neck skin. Negligently disregarding red flags pointing to liver damage and hypothyroidism, which where very serious conditions that would have effected the consideration of the surgery or taken a completely different aproach. During the implantation of the drain my dog aquired an infection. Then Dr. Perales suggested a complete regional lymph node removal with 50/50 chances of life and death. We went to Carballo Animal Clinic who told us it was much to late and the infection produced by the surgery preformed by Dr. Perales moved into the blood stream and caused his death. If you love your dog or cat or any animal take him anywhere else in Miami. Learn from my hands and the pain of a lost family member.

She's the most hard-working, experienced and knowledgeable vet I've ever met--and makes it a point to be the most affordable. She's a no-BS type of person, and saved my incredibly sick pound pup from the usually deadly distemper. Another vet misdiagnosed my dog as having Kennel Cough, but Dr. M-B had no trouble diagnosing him correctly and treating him appropriately. What's best, she did it at the lowest possible cost to me, filling out prescriptions for me to take to Publix where the medicine was FREE (for an antibiotic the other vet charged me $60 for) and eventually let me know when it was okay to stop treatment because my dog was going to be fine. She saw me daily for weeks without charging me for the visits, only his (discounted) treatments, and obviously cared very much for the health of my dog. The other vet I took my dog to sounded sympathetic, all while running useless tests to run up my bill and never listened to me while I tried to explain his symptoms, but Dr. M-B showed her caring through her actions. She treated my dog away from all other animals, as distemper is highly contagious, when the other vet's office clearly did not care. She heard me out, explained his condition and details about his care, and eventually saved his life. I could never repay her for that, because now my dog is healthy, and I believe to this day that my dog would be dead if I hadn't found her. If you need the very best vet, then save yourself the trouble and just go to her.

I have to admit I was as nervous as she was, however, one of the staff Mr. Jeffrey Goya assured me there was nothing to be afraid of and he would make sure she was completely accomodated during her surgery. The Hospital has a large amount of emergencies and clients. The staff members were friendly, helpful and did the best they can to heal my cat and prepare a good treatment for him. He was very ill and wounded. However, the Dr. did the best she could and the cat started to eat once again and drink fluids. My cat had small chances of living but i believe that the Dr's treatment and procedures were the best option, so too, they seem to work.

Glad we found out about Dadeland Animal Hospital a couple years ago. It was and is worth it! Easy parking and great location, right off US1. It's always nice and clean even if they have to rush out to clean what your/my dog just did!. The personnel are courteous and attentive and mainly, take care of your pet (in my case two dogs) very well. I have a dog that got diabetes about 1 year ago and although it is a little extra work to keep his blood sugar level under control it's worth it and he is still with us thanks to Dadeland Animal Hospital.

I am an animal lover , and have met many veterinarians in the past, but I must admit that Dr.Maclover-Bauer is amazing and caring. I arrived with a very sick cat to her office that had just been ran over by a car on New Year's day. After the doctor assessed the cat, she immediately decided that the cat needed surgery . She didn't worry about the holiday or the time. The cat was quickly taken and prepped for surgery. After the surgery Dr.Maclover-Bauer went over the surgical details with us and explained the plan of care. The surgery was successful but the cat was still in critical condition. Dr.Maclover put lots of love and care into saving the cats life!! The staff was also wonderful and caring. The cat is ready to be picked up tomorrow after being in recovery for a week and we are very excited! Thanks to the doctors knowledge the cat now has a second chance. I will be recommending this great place to all my family and friends!!!

I have a 12-year-old cat recently diagnosed with diabetes. After a *nightmarish* 2 weeks under the care of another vet (with nothing resolved), I was referred to Dr. MacIvor-Bauer by a family friend (who is also a vet). Dr. MacIvor-Bauer saw my cat immediately and has begun a brand-new regimen for him. He hasn't even needed hospitalization! Last week, my husband and I were angry and frustrated (and a lot of tears shed). We are now extremely grateful to have someone like Dr. MacIvor-Bauer working with him. She is extremely knowledgeable on the subject of feline diabetes, and my cat has been home this week and is doing well. She has also been very understanding as we explained how much money we have already spent on his care. Her staff is very caring and even knows us by name (after only a week)! My little Bailey is lucky to have her as his Dr.!!

Two weeks ago I rushed to Dadeland Animal Hospital for the first time. My dear dog Candy, was very sick, the doctor was at a meeting when I arrived. She rushed to the office to see her. My precious baby was dieing, I didn't even have the money to cover for all the expenses and she only wanted to save Candy's life. She put all her effort and her personal care and love including her staff. For one week Dr. Sharon was trying to safe her even though she was 16 years old. For me it was a beautiful experience knowing that Dr. Sharon Maclvor-Bauer and her staff did not know me and gave me so much love and attention for my dog and my family. I just want to say Thank You from the bottom of my heart. Don't have any doubt to seek her services as you will only receive the best service and care from Dr. Maclvor-Bauer and her staff! My partner and I own several dogs and cats, we have been seeing numerous veterinarians for the past several years. Dadeland Animal Hospital is by far, the best in all of southern Florida. Dr.Sharon MacIvor-Bauer and her staff are the angels of Miami, I myself consider Dr.Sharon MacIvor-Bauer the Saint of animals. I can not begin to express my graditude, she saved our dog Buster from Parvo, a horrifying disease, and a very serious viral infection. Sharon MacIvor-Bauer DVM is an exceptional doctor & person, attentive, kind, wise, balanced, calm, sympathetic, she is a superlative women and vet. When i took my dog, Bandit to Dr. MacIvor she saved him after he was hit by a car. Not only did she put a lot of time and effort into doing so she helped me out since i could not afford the services. She gave me great prices and saved Bandit Additionally i have been going back ever since, (5 years), with my cat Bella as well and the treatment i receive is always great. She has a tightly run office, that is clean and has been recently renovated, along with an awesome staff who really love the animals. I highly recommend her and her hospital.
