Este review es al staff, ya que ni conoc al dr, la recepcionista gordita es muy desagradable, la cita era a las 4:30, llege a las 4:35 y no me quiso atender, ped hacerle una pregunta al doctor, no lo llamo y no me dejo hacerle una pregunta, estando él en la oficina. Aparte que cuando llegue 5 minutos tarde él estaba terminando con un paciente, que sali unos minutos después de yo llegar, por lo tanto, si hubiera llegado a las 4:30, iba a tener que esperar aproximadamente 8 minutos. What I appreciate is him showing what the problem is, the options you can take, informing you and explaining everything thoroughly so you understand everything. With that being said there's less panic in the situation. He definitely has a strong love and compassion for animals. My dog is always eager to see everyone at this vet during our visits. I have worked for Dr.Ferran for the better part of 13 years. He has always been available to speak and be there for my pets. On occasion people call who want to speak with him and fail to realize that this is a one Vet practice and it is almost impossible to get to everyone. Dr. Ferran has been my pets vet for more years than I can count. His wealth of knowledge in his field is beyond compare. Very pet that I have had has been thoroughly taken care of. My Yorkie had acupuncture for a neck problem and before finding Dr. Ferran was told he needed a operation. He had no operation due to Dr. Ferran and he lived a happy and healthy life. Now I have a Cockapoo and he was having problems with his rear legs to find out he had dysplasia and Dr. Ferran and I came to the conclusion to go with gold bean implants. He now runs and plays ball his favorite sport my too. We enjoy long walks and marks his way though the neighbor. Dr. Ferran exudes confidence and knowledge, plus his terrific personality. I tell all my friends to go to him and they are so very happy they did. Plus he has a wonderful staff that I can depend on even when I call with a stupid question. I couldn't disagree more with Jessica R. I have been involved with animal rescue for many years, and have never met anyone like Robert Ferran. I have had encounters with many Vets over the years, and, no one, without exception, has been more caring, knowledgeable,  professional and considerate of both the patient and the owners. Unlike most Vets, he feels it very important to observe over time, and get to know your pet on a more personal level before treating and determining what the problems might be. Most Vets will just give out medication, and hope for the best result. This will never happen at Dr. Ferran's. If you care more about yourself rather than your pet, this clinic is not for you.I have met people in Dr. Ferran's waiting room who have traveled very far distances for his mode of treating animals. Many of whose pets would not be alive today were it not for his love and care.I'm so grateful that after years of dealing with 3rd rate Vets, my dogs are finally safe. Read Less

I have a mixed Shepard who fell while running and damaged her cruciate ligaments. I took her to one specialized center where they recommended surgery with a very extensive and prolonged recovery. I took her to Dr. Ferran who recommended to place gold beads with a homeopathic medication for pain and inflammation. She improved 100% by the second day.
