Please DO NOT take your pet here. I took my baby in for a consultation to perform surgery on her right leg. Day of surgery I took her in and dropped her off. When I came back the surgery was done on the WRONG leg. When I spoke to Dr. Donocoff about the wrong leg being done. She said no we did surgery on the right leg not the left. I said my dog is in front of me and it’s the left leg. I asked to see the X-rays and guess what? They said they can’t find the X-rays BEFORE the surgery. I called my original Vet that did X-rays of both legs. He specifically said the left leg is a good solid leg. He gave me her entire medical records including X-rays and of course nothing WAS wrong with her left leg.

This past week my 15 year old Lab Shepherd mix, Bella collapsed and was in bad shape. A visit to Dr. Pane verified she had a 104.5 fever and her white blood count was over 27,000, more than double the norm. It did not look good. Dr. Pane prescribed two different antibiotics. Bella had to be carried on a stretcher to the car and upon arriving home I had to carry her inside. Once inside my wife got on the floor and hand feed our "baby". Luckily she ate all her food and drank have a bowl of water. I then gave her the medicine. About two hours later she came walking into the living room and sat down next to us. I took her temperature and it was normal. The next morning she was up and waiting for her morning walk. She was fine the rest of the day! The Doctor called and was thrilled with the news. The next morning we went back for a follow-up check up. Bella's blood count and temperature was NORMAL! My wife and I both realize Bella is way past the life expectancy of a dog her size. We are thankful for every healthy day she has left. With this said, the expertise, care and compassion we constantly receive from Dr. Pane, Dr. Weir and their entire staff is very much appreciated. They really are dedicated to the well being of their patience. Thank you all!

This is an example of a vet that puts its business and financial gains before your pets Healthcare. I thought I knew these people. Sadly, after my last experience, I will never take my pets to this place again. Dr. Pane has obviously checked-out professionally and seems to only care about booking appointments and charging customers for products and services, whether your pet needs it or not. This vet does not seem to keep or review any medical records during or before visits and clearly only wants your money fast so that they can bring in the next appointment. Samantha, the front desk manager was unhelpful and even confrontational when I asked her to please correct the huge mistake made by her office. Also, This vet does not like to authorize your pets Rx for 1800petmeds because they sell the same medicine in their own office and do not like you buying somewhere else. I have to buy insulin and syringes every month. This vet has helped me put-down three of my beloved pets over the years and I truly regret that they have forced me to go elsewhere because of their own lack of ethics and lack of care for my 2 dogs. I have since found a new vet near my house and will establish a relationship with them for my pets. I need an honest and attentive vet to help me with managing my pets healthcare needs.

Great support staff & Vets, they explain everything carefully and clearly and walk you through the decision making processes for your pets care. How I wish the pets could speak but we have to for them and the Docs & staff there will too. I've been taking my rescue dogs there for years, Buttercup a 55 lb Hound Mix is now 14 yrs 5 mos and is well cared. Roxy our 13+ Yr Black Lab mix also lived a long and vital life with their cafre. Unfortunately she passed earlier this year after fighting cancer for over a year with this Vets care & guidance & was honorably & lovingly treated when she passed. They are great and now there's 3+Yr old Mia, another rescue of we have no Idea her breed, my daughter found her by the Miami River abandoned at about 2 weeks old.

My dog Sugar has been there patient since she was a puppy. Best Care from everyone! Just a few days ago my 3 year old Jack Russell got very sick. Brought her in as an emergency and the front desk girls where awesome with checking me in and attending to my problem. Once taken in the vet assistant was so loving and caring for my sick dog. Doctor came in and addressed the problem right away. With there help, kindness and support my Sugar was able to have a speedy recovery. Everyone is there to help. Low cost care with lots of love.

I am here to tell you that South Kendall Animal Hospital is by far the best in south Miami. I have been going to them for 11 years and Dr Pane and Dr Faulkner are the BEST and along with Amy and the rest of the staff at reception area. They always go the extra mile in making sure my dog is up to date on all his shots and what ever else he needs. When i have to get test done Dr Pane will call me personally to tell me what the results are. When I had to put down my 14 year old Yellow Lab, Dr Pane and his staff was right there with me through my grieving. It was a very hard time for me and i even got a card with the whole staff name and little notes. I now have a new dog and i continue to go to South Kendall Animal Hosp.

Drs.. Pane & Weir have been my primary vets for at least a decade now. I have my own pets and rescue as well. I've not found a better, more comprehensive clinic in Miami. The in-house capabilities far exceed the majority of veterinary clinics in the county, the level of care and concern is unparalleled, and the professionalism and experience these two give my 'babies' is priceless. They've diagnosed situations others have missed who shouldn't have. Being AAHA accredited means this clinic is one of the best in the country. Only 15% of clinics in the U.S. (about 2,500) achieve and maintain this honor. You're in the best of hands with SKAH.

My 3 month puppy had a accident. She broke her foot. I called South Kendall Animal Hospital at 740pm. I was on the phone holding 10 minutes before I hung up and called back. While calling back I drove to the office. I arrived at 755pm, 5 minutes before closing time. I was referred to the emergency room because they closed at 8pm. I begged for them to exam my puppy. They told me since it was already 8pm, it would be $125 just for a examination and I still would be sent to a emergency room.
I could not believe how I was being treated. I live in Colonial. I've taken my cat there several times. I took my puppy to Animal Welfare Society. They only charged $25 for a emergency office visit the same day at 11pm.
I will never go back to South Kendall when their are places like Animal Welfare Society that care about the animal, their family members and is reasonable.

I've been here twice: First time to take in a stray I found with a broken leg. They were kind and helped me with pricing considering it wasn't my dog.
The second time I took my own dog to get looked at since he had bloody stools and kept complaining--probably due to discomfort--
Dr. Theresa Weir was awesome, she gave me options and was so kind to both my dog and me.
I will definitely continue visiting this clinic.

After being practically begged to go to South Kendall Animal Clinic by a friend, I have to say we are absolutely ecstatic about our Shetland Sheepdog's new vet, Dr. Donocoff! Dr. Donocoff really brought a whole new feel to going to the veterinarian. She was funny, kind, honest, and sincerely cared about our pup. I am a professional dog groomer, so I am very picky with who my dogs interact with because I have met too many people that are in animal-oriented professions that genuinely do not care for the animals. Our puppy, Archer, was very at ease with Dr. Donocoff-- even after having a thermometer in his booty! She even gave him treats throughout the visit to make sure he would look forward to seeing her in the future. I've never had a veterinarian do that for any of my pets before! Dr. Donocoff also specializes in small, exotic pets like ferrets and rats. In fact, she has performed several successful surgeries on my friend's rats. One time she even came to the office on a day they were closed because my friend had an emergency with one of her rats. If that isn't passion and dedication, I don't know what is. As for the hospital, it was clean and the staff seemed friendly enough. I purchased a puppy package that includes all of Archers puppy shots (3 visits total) for $257 (normally $340+ but you get a huge discount for pre-paying). I usually pay over $150 a visit at other veterinary offices and they aren't nearly as great. Dr. Donocoff even have us the first visit on the house, and Archer recieved a care package with a new leash and flea/tick puppy drops. I am so excited about visiting Dr. Donocoff again. I know exactly why my friend was so eager for me to go see her. She's the best... Aroooound!

Works with his clients regarding treatment choices. Would not go anywhere else. Staff is excellent, cheerful and helpful. I also saw Dr. Weir who was excellent as well

He was patient and very thorough and addressed all our concerns. I'm happy to say Toji is doing better and hanging in there. Thanks Dr Shing.The entire staff is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Great support staff & Vets, they explain everything carefully and clearly and walk you through the decision making processes for your pets care. How I wish the pets could speak but we have to for them and the Docs & staff there will too. I've been taking my rescue dogs there for years, Buttercup a 55 lb Hound Mix is now 14 yrs 5 mos and is well cared. Roxy our 13+ Yr Black Lab mix also lived a long and vital life with their cafre. Unfortunately she passed earlier this year after fighting cancer for over a year with this Vets care & guidance & was honorably & lovingly treated when she passed. They are great and now there's 3+Yr old Mia, another rescue of we have no Idea her breed, my daughter found her by the Miami River abandoned at about 2 weeks old.

My dog Sugar has been there patient since she was a puppy. Best Care from everyone! Just a few days ago my 3 year old Jack Russell got very sick. Brought her in as an emergency and the front desk girls where awesome with checking me in and attending to my problem. Once taken in the vet assistant was so loving and caring for my sick dog. Doctor came in and addressed the problem right away. With there help, kindness and support my Sugar was able to have a speedy recovery. Everyone is there to help. Low cost care with lots of love.

I am here to tell you that South Kendall Animal Hospital is by far the best in south Miami. I have been going to them for 11 years and Dr Pane and Dr Faulkner are the BEST and along with Amy and the rest of the staff at reception area. They always go the extra mile in making sure my dog is up to date on all his shots and what ever else he needs. When i have to get test done Dr Pane will call me personally to tell me what the results are. When I had to put down my 14 year old Yellow Lab, Dr Pane and his staff was right there with me through my grieving. It was a very hard time for me and i even got a card with the whole staff name and little notes. I now have a new dog and i continue to go to South Kendall Animal Hosp.

The in-house capabilities far exceed the majority of veterinary clinics in the county, the level of care and concern is unparalleled, and the professionalism and experience these two give my 'babies' is priceless. They've diagnosed situations others have missed who shouldn't have. Being AAHA accredited means this clinic is one of the best in the country. Only 15% of clinics in the U.S. (about 2,500) achieve and maintain this honor. You're in the best of hands with SKAH.

My 3 month puppy had a accident. She broke her foot. I called South Kendall Animal Hospital at 740pm. I was on the phone holding 10 minutes before I hung up and called back. While calling back I drove to the office. I arrived at 755pm, 5 minutes before closing time. I was referred to the emergency room because they closed at 8pm. I begged for them to exam my puppy. They told me since it was already 8pm, it would be $125 just for a examination and I still would be sent to a emergency room.
I could not believe how I was being treated. I live in Colonial. I've taken my cat there several times. I took my puppy to Animal Welfare Society. They only charged $25 for a emergency office visit the same day at 11pm.
I will never go back to South Kendall when their are places like Animal Welfare Society that care about the animal, their family members and is reasonable.

I've been here twice: First time to take in a stray I found with a broken leg. They were kind and helped me with pricing considering it wasn't my dog.
The second time I took my own dog to get looked at since he had bloody stools and kept complaining--probably due to discomfort--
Dr. Theresa Weir was awesome, she gave me options and was so kind to both my dog and me.
I will definitely continue visiting this clinic.

After being practically begged to go to South Kendall Animal Clinic by a friend, I have to say we are absolutely ecstatic about our Shetland Sheepdog's new vet, Dr. Donocoff! Dr. Donocoff really brought a whole new feel to going to the veterinarian. She was funny, kind, honest, and sincerely cared about our pup. I am a professional dog groomer, so I am very picky with who my dogs interact with because I have met too many people that are in animal-oriented professions that genuinely do not care for the animals. Our puppy, Archer, was very at ease with Dr. Donocoff-- even after having a thermometer in his booty! She even gave him treats throughout the visit to make sure he would look forward to seeing her in the future. I've never had a veterinarian do that for any of my pets before! Dr. Donocoff also specializes in small, exotic pets like ferrets and rats. In fact, she has performed several successful surgeries on my friend's rats. One time she even came to the office on a day they were closed because my friend had an emergency with one of her rats. If that isn't passion and dedication, I don't know what is. As for the hospital, it was clean and the staff seemed friendly enough. I purchased a puppy package that includes all of Archers puppy shots (3 visits total) for $257 (normally $340+ but you get a huge discount for pre-paying). I usually pay over $150 a visit at other veterinary offices and they aren't nearly as great. Dr. Donocoff even have us the first visit on the house, and Archer recieved a care package with a new leash and flea/tick puppy drops. I am so excited about visiting Dr. Donocoff again. I know exactly why my friend was so eager for me to go see her. She's the best... Aroooound!

Dr. Pane is excellent. He does research for my dog's Mast cell cancer. He lets me email him with updates and questions. He takes his time with her and with me. Very positive. Works with his clients regarding treatment choices. Would not go anywhere else. Staff is excellent, cheerful and helpful. I also saw Dr. Weir who was excellent as well
I recommend South Kendall Animal Hospital very highly
