Had to rush my baby here for an emergency and was scared to get her out of the car. Once my brother notified the staff, 3 of them rushed out to come and assist us. Unfortunately the health complication was great so we ended up having to euthanize her. The team there were so loving and warm and extremely compassionate. Though it was our first time there, they worked fast and diligent getting information from her primary vet so they wouldn't have to bother us. They even gave us some time alone with my baby in a nice private room which really touched me.
Words cant express how thankful I am for them for making that whole process a little easier for us.
This place felt like home even though we were just visitors. Thank you!

Our dog had to have CCL surgery. Our vet recommended Dr. David Wise as the best person for the job. He is indeed excellent. My husband and I noted that he taught everyone in the room, including us, as he went through our dog's first checkup. He had us feel how the injured leg wasn't as strong as the other rear leg and would need exercise to recover. The office manager Kim was very helpful in setting up the financial arrangements for us and kindly inquired about our dog's recovery when she returned my call a day later. The technicians' supervisor Maite let us watch the laser treatment on the leg and gave us excellent advice on walking our dog properly to help him recover. We have been very happy with the treatment we have received.

I usually don't write bad reviews... but yesterday (a Tuesday night) my wife and i took our dog for a consult at 9 pm. There was only us and 3 other ppl, 2 of them were only there to see and pick up their pets. After 30 minutes of arrival we were taken from the waiting area to one of the rooms. We waited 1 hour and a half there and no one came so we left.
Now listen, they may have had emergencies that night, however we were mostly upset with the fact that we were taken to the room were there was no place to sit and wait, and no one came to check up on us for almost 2 hours... asking us if we needed something, or apologizing for the waiting or any explanation of ANY KIND. It's a week day and we left at almost 11 pm with no one to look at our dog or even show any kind of patient care.

I cannot believe people can post bad comments just because knowles don’t take every straight dog or cat free of charge. If you pick up an animal from the street PAY FOR THEIR BILLS that’s what we animal lovers do, not put the responsibility on some else.

We have used this clinic before but this experience will make us never consider them again. We found a sick kitten on the street in the rain. We took her to another vet who gave her treatment. When we left, the kitten would not eat or drink from her bottle. It was now after hours so we called Knowles to ask if they can help feed this baby as she hadn't eaten in at least 1 day. They quoted $500-$700 for emergency overnight care and tests. As we were trying to figure out what to do and where to muster up the cash, the kitten died. I understand this is a for profit business but but squeezing in a few dying animals will not break your bank Knowles. To be a good veterinarian requires not just skill, but genuine care for animals and compassion. For this reason, my own pets wont be coming here.

This place is good for broken bones, stitches that type of emergencies, car accidents with dogs .
But not health issues.
The vets need to listen to pet owners request because we are the ones that know our dogs .
Staff very nice, including doctors . But I don’t look at that when I go to a vets office .
There’s no one to one medical , too many emergencies at the same time for 1 vet .
I’m very disappointed and I’m a client that I don’t care what I spend on my dogs because I have them like my kids .
I went with a respiratory issue with my dog like many that I have had and vet first thing they is calm him with a small dosage of sedation . The animal hospital I always used was too far at the moment z I explained to vet what the other vet would do just as for her to know . And she said we have to let him stabileze on his own . Ofcourse the nervousness of not being able to breath gets anyone more anxious .
Anyhow I would never use knowles again even if I have to risk the drive .

We came in with a stray that we found on the street. The folks working the front desk were wonderful. But it ended there. The technician who took the initial vitals was abrasive. When the dog wasn't initially coming out of the small crate we had her in, likely because she was understandably scared, the technician flipped it up and started shaking it violently. We stopped her, and coaxed the dog out on our own, then held her ourselves during vitals.
We were charged $115 just for the examination, and the vet did nearly nothing but tell us we could get tests done. We took her to our own vet two days later, who found that had a severe ear infection, anal glands that were "about to burst," and a hernia. No mention of any of these at Knowles, not even the ear infection. For a stray dog, we ended up paying $197 just for a dose of capstar(no tests done), a bath for a 5lb dog, and a dose of antibiotics. Total ripoff and did not get the dog the care she needed.

She pass other dogs in front of us, ignoring that we our waiting with a Baby in my harms for 40 min. ( and the little brother (10 months ) at home.
After passing a for the 3 time or four time a dog before her, we kindly ask her how long will take.
Without checking anything she say the waiting time will be another 40 min... and Our dog wasn’t a emergency....
I mean how a person like this could work with attending dogs with needs, if she could not be more careless.
We are deeply regret to loose our time and also not have our dog that is feeling weak and was begin ignore for all times that we are there....
( ps. Just after we just left they call for all the other dogs.)

We took our golden retriever puppy here for surgery after she was attacked by another dog, resulting in a broken leg. The care has been wonderful so far! Dr. Canabal did her surgery and took the time to explain everything and show us the xrays. The vet techs who have done her bandage changes have also been great! One lady even cut her nails for us because we were afraid to do it ourselves while she has the pins sticking out of her leg. The front office staff have been very pleasant and kind so far as well. Thank you all very much for what you do!

Ended up waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes before being put in a room where we waiting a 2.5 more hours before being seen by a vet tech and not the actual doctor. This is absolutely ridiculous to have an appointment in advance to be handled this way. By the way it was only for a couple shots. Go with preferably Dr Emily Abraham, don't make the same mistake we did going with Dr Canino. 2 shots = total wait time 3 hours.

They only have one person to do ultra sound? In the meantime my dog suffered till the end because no one else was there to do the ultra sound. Not good!

I am so incredibly grateful to the whole staff at Knowles Animal Clinics.
On our first night of vacation, my puppy Gigi was scratched in the eye by a stray cat. What could've been a traumatic experience that caused lasting damage was thankfully just an unfortunate inconvenience due to the competence and compassion of the entire staff at Knowles Animal Clinics.
I won't lie, when Gigi was first injured and her eye swelled, our whole family was in tears fearing the worst. Dr. Sara Beg was sympathetic, professional, and gentle in handling Gigi and answering our questions. In the following days, we visited the clinic at least 7 times for help in administering medications and every technician we met (Lori, Miguel to name a couple) was equally talented and sensitive. Not only did the staff do everything possible to make Gigi comfortable, they also made it a priority to assuage our (irrational) panic.
I can't believe I stumbled upon such a capable and loving group with a frantic google search at 10pm. I will be forever grateful to the whole team for their availability and help. These people truly love to work with animals and I found their prices to be very reasonable. Thanks to them Gigi still has perfect vision and virtually no scarring.

Not only have they saved the life of two of my dogs, but they treat my dogs and myself like family members! Both doctors have incredible knowledge of veterinary medicine. I'm extremely cautious when it comes to choosing a health provider, especially for my pets. I own 2 dogs and 2 cats. My dogs fell in love with Dr Cannibal when they went for an urgent checkup. My little Lola wanted to follow him when he would leave the room for a bit. He really helped us out as Rosco had severe allergy issues due to fleas. Most recently, My cat, Salem, suffered severe trauma on his right eye. Dr. Abraham cared for Salem during this hard time and I felt extremely comfortable with the staff. I called ahead to let them know it was an emergency and when I arrived they attended us so quick and without hesitation. From the receptionist to the technicians and the doctors to the surgeon, the staff is supportive, reassuring, comforting, and really care as they have pets of their own. They accept CareCredit and help you apply within the facility. It really helped out as my Salem needed a urgent surgery. They constantly called to inform me with updates on how the procedure went and allow you to call 24/7. I feel secure and content that I picked the perfect facility. Thank you so much!

My dog was in a fight while I was on vacation. My mom and cousins took him to a vet that was close to home since he looked like he wasn't going to make it. That vet let my dog bleed for hours while they decided how much the care would cost and while my hubby and I figured out how we'd pay. They wouldn't even stabilize him. They did emergency surgery, but missed several wounds on my dog. They also overcharged me and 2 weeks later have yet to process the refund. For the follow up visit my family took my dog to Knowles on Sunset. WHAT a difference! They took care of my dog FIRST, then talked money. They were super sweet to my dog and my family. They have won our hearts and will be our go-to for emergencies! (They're about an hour away from us, so routine visits would be difficult for us.) But THEY ROCK! Thank you, Knowles Animal Clinic! You are truly wonderful!

The staff is always pleasant and ready to help always with such compassion and feeling. They have been my vets for over 20 years and many more to come. To me my babies, Mya and Bella are part of the family, my canine daughters, and that is how they are always treated. The loss of my dear Dopey, my 12 year old white boxer was devastating but both doctors and staff's brought comfort and support. From surgery, treatment, emergencies, consultation you name it these are the Vets to trust your pets to!!

Everyone, but everyone at my visit one scary night with my very sick dog, was considerate, attentive, responsive and Dr. Goldberg, the vet on CALL that late at night, was outstandingly wonderful: she explained each and every thing as she did it, was patient with a very scared puppy ( 13 years old ! ) and explained each and every results of her tests...............by the next day, my puppy was on the mend and by the following day, she was barking for her breakfast and dinner and back to normal.
This is an excellent HOSPITAL, with everything available at your fingertips.

I was waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes before I got in to the room. Another 30 minutes till a nurse comes and then another 10 minutes till the doctor shows up. After showing up, he disappears again. I was still waiting with my puppy in the room. Then I had to listen what my puppy supposed to need! I have dogs my whole life and breeding dogs, i am very aware what a 8 weeks puppy need and what not. They try to make a lot of extra things on your dog so they can charge you more!

Out of 4 cities (tallahassee, tampa, nyc, Miami), Dr.Wise is hands down the absolute best vet I have come across. He is kind, caring, intelligent, genuine, thoughtful, and cares so much about his patients and their owners. He is simply the best vet, and for those who bring up the high costs, please be sure to provide some context. Dr wise is fair and honest, and never charges extra for follow up visits. Moreover, he will see your pet without any advanced notice which is PRICELESS. I advise anyone in search of a vet to make an appointment with him because you'll miss out on the kindest (and most intelligent) vet that Miami has to offer.

Had to rush my baby here for an emergency and was scared to get her out of the car. Once my brother notified the staff, 3 of them rushed out to come and assist us. Unfortunately the health complication was great so we ended up having to euthanize her. The team there were so loving and warm and extremely compassionate. Though it was our first time there, they worked fast and diligent getting information from her primary vet so they wouldn't have to bother us. They even gave us some time alone with my baby in a nice private room which really touched me.
Words cant express how thankful I am for them for making that whole process a little easier for us.
This place felt like home even though we were just visitors. Thank you!

Our dog had to have CCL surgery. Our vet recommended Dr. David Wise as the best person for the job. He is indeed excellent. My husband and I noted that he taught everyone in the room, including us, as he went through our dog's first checkup. He had us feel how the injured leg wasn't as strong as the other rear leg and would need exercise to recover. The office manager Kim was very helpful in setting up the financial arrangements for us and kindly inquired about our dog's recovery when she returned my call a day later. The technicians' supervisor Maite let us watch the laser treatment on the leg and gave us excellent advice on walking our dog properly to help him recover. We have been very happy with the treatment we have received.

I usually don't write bad reviews... but yesterday (a Tuesday night) my wife and i took our dog for a consult at 9 pm. There was only us and 3 other ppl, 2 of them were only there to see and pick up their pets. After 30 minutes of arrival we were taken from the waiting area to one of the rooms. We waited 1 hour and a half there and no one came so we left.
Now listen, they may have had emergencies that night, however we were mostly upset with the fact that we were taken to the room were there was no place to sit and wait, and no one came to check up on us for almost 2 hours... asking us if we needed something, or apologizing for the waiting or any explanation of ANY KIND. It's a week day and we left at almost 11 pm with no one to look at our dog or even show any kind of patient care.
Never again.

We have used this clinic before but this experience will make us never consider them again. We found a sick kitten on the street in the rain. We took her to another vet who gave her treatment. When we left, the kitten would not eat or drink from her bottle. It was now after hours so we called Knowles to ask if they can help feed this baby as she hadn't eaten in at least 1 day. They quoted $500-$700 for emergency overnight care and tests. As we were trying to figure out what to do and where to muster up the cash, the kitten died. I understand this is a for profit business but but squeezing in a few dying animals will not break your bank Knowles. To be a good veterinarian requires not just skill, but genuine care for animals and compassion. For this reason, my own pets wont be coming here.

This place is good for broken bones, stitches that type of emergencies, car accidents with dogs .
But not health issues.
The vets need to listen to pet owners request because we are the ones that know our dogs .
Staff very nice, including doctors . But I don’t look at that when I go to a vets office .
There’s no one to one medical , too many emergencies at the same time for 1 vet .
I’m very disappointed and I’m a client that I don’t care what I spend on my dogs because I have them like my kids .
I went with a respiratory issue with my dog like many that I have had and vet first thing they is calm him with a small dosage of sedation . The animal hospital I always used was too far at the moment z I explained to vet what the other vet would do just as for her to know . And she said we have to let him stabileze on his own . Ofcourse the nervousness of not being able to breath gets anyone more anxious .
Anyhow I would never use knowles again even if I have to risk the drive .

We came in with a stray that we found on the street. The folks working the front desk were wonderful. But it ended there. The technician who took the initial vitals was abrasive. When the dog wasn't initially coming out of the small crate we had her in, likely because she was understandably scared, the technician flipped it up and started shaking it violently. We stopped her, and coaxed the dog out on our own, then held her ourselves during vitals.
We were charged $115 just for the examination, and the vet did nearly nothing but tell us we could get tests done. We took her to our own vet two days later, who found that had a severe ear infection, anal glands that were "about to burst," and a hernia. No mention of any of these at Knowles, not even the ear infection. For a stray dog, we ended up paying $197 just for a dose of capstar(no tests done), a bath for a 5lb dog, and a dose of antibiotics. Total ripoff and did not get the dog the care she needed.

She pass other dogs in front of us, ignoring that we our waiting with a Baby in my harms for 40 min. ( and the little brother (10 months ) at home.
After passing a for the 3 time or four time a dog before her, we kindly ask her how long will take.
Without checking anything she say the waiting time will be another 40 min... and Our dog wasn’t a emergency....
I mean how a person like this could work with attending dogs with needs, if she could not be more careless.
We are deeply regret to loose our time and also not have our dog that is feeling weak and was begin ignore for all times that we are there....
( ps. Just after we just left they call for all the other dogs.)

We took our golden retriever puppy here for surgery after she was attacked by another dog, resulting in a broken leg. The care has been wonderful so far! Dr. Canabal did her surgery and took the time to explain everything and show us the xrays. The vet techs who have done her bandage changes have also been great! One lady even cut her nails for us because we were afraid to do it ourselves while she has the pins sticking out of her leg. The front office staff have been very pleasant and kind so far as well. Thank you all very much for what you do!

Ended up waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes before being put in a room where we waiting a 2.5 more hours before being seen by a vet tech and not the actual doctor. This is absolutely ridiculous to have an appointment in advance to be handled this way. By the way it was only for a couple shots. Go with preferably Dr Emily Abraham, don't make the same mistake we did going with Dr Canino. 2 shots = total wait time 3 hours.

I am feeling very angry and hurt...brought my American bulldog for stomach issues in bad shape to do an ultra sound. ...they said the ultra sound person left and won't be back till tommorow. ..they kept him over night calls me at 1:00 am in morning said he collapsed, need to take him to surgery and he dies while they are prepping him...the do CPR ..no response...my question is this is a 24 hour hospital. They only have one person to do ultra sound? In the meantime my dog suffered till the end because no one else was there to do the ultra sound. Not good!

I am so incredibly grateful to the whole staff at Knowles Animal Clinics.
On our first night of vacation, my puppy Gigi was scratched in the eye by a stray cat. What could've been a traumatic experience that caused lasting damage was thankfully just an unfortunate inconvenience due to the competence and compassion of the entire staff at Knowles Animal Clinics.
I won't lie, when Gigi was first injured and her eye swelled, our whole family was in tears fearing the worst. Dr. Sara Beg was sympathetic, professional, and gentle in handling Gigi and answering our questions. In the following days, we visited the clinic at least 7 times for help in administering medications and every technician we met (Lori, Miguel to name a couple) was equally talented and sensitive. Not only did the staff do everything possible to make Gigi comfortable, they also made it a priority to assuage our (irrational) panic.
I can't believe I stumbled upon such a capable and loving group with a frantic google search at 10pm. I will be forever grateful to the whole team for their availability and help. These people truly love to work with animals and I found their prices to be very reasonable. Thanks to them Gigi still has perfect vision and virtually no scarring.

Not only have they saved the life of two of my dogs, but they treat my dogs and myself like family members! Both doctors have incredible knowledge of veterinary medicine. The office is extremely well organized and clean. I have always and will always recommend Knowles Animal Clinic as "the place" to keep them healthy.

I'm extremely cautious when it comes to choosing a health provider, especially for my pets. I own 2 dogs and 2 cats. My dogs fell in love with Dr Cannibal when they went for an urgent checkup. My little Lola wanted to follow him when he would leave the room for a bit. He really helped us out as Rosco had severe allergy issues due to fleas. Most recently, My cat, Salem, suffered severe trauma on his right eye. Dr. Abraham cared for Salem during this hard time and I felt extremely comfortable with the staff. I called ahead to let them know it was an emergency and when I arrived they attended us so quick and without hesitation. From the receptionist to the technicians and the doctors to the surgeon, the staff is supportive, reassuring, comforting, and really care as they have pets of their own. They accept CareCredit and help you apply within the facility. It really helped out as my Salem needed a urgent surgery. They constantly called to inform me with updates on how the procedure went and allow you to call 24/7. I feel secure and content that I picked the perfect facility. Thank you so much!

My dog was in a fight while I was on vacation. My mom and cousins took him to a vet that was close to home since he looked like he wasn't going to make it. That vet let my dog bleed for hours while they decided how much the care would cost and while my hubby and I figured out how we'd pay. They wouldn't even stabilize him. They did emergency surgery, but missed several wounds on my dog. They also overcharged me and 2 weeks later have yet to process the refund. For the follow up visit my family took my dog to Knowles on Sunset. WHAT a difference! They took care of my dog FIRST, then talked money. They were super sweet to my dog and my family. They have won our hearts and will be our go-to for emergencies! (They're about an hour away from us, so routine visits would be difficult for us.) But THEY ROCK! Thank you, Knowles Animal Clinic! You are truly wonderful!

I came to the Nw 7th st & 27th Ave location at around 10-11pm. I came to see if a pair of stray dogs had tracking chips the quality of service was amazing. They went above and beyond. The superviser Miriti and her team were amazing. I thought given the late hour/notice I was expecting slightly rude service but to the contrary. I have nothing but high praise. Miriti and her whole team need a raise don't let those workers go

Our dog was stung by a bark scorpion in our yard at 10:30 at night, and it was after 11 when we got there. I called ahead, gave them our eta, and they were ready when we walked in. They took sissy in without delay for paperwork first. They were kind and reassuring, willing to explain everything to me, then my boyfriend since we had a sleeping child in the car. When my 3yr old woke up the techs helped us reassure her by letting my daughter see sissy.

I highly recommend Knowles Animal Clinic to anyone who really love and care for their pets. My experience with Drs. Wise and Canino are priceless. The staff is always pleasant and ready to help always with such compassion and feeling. They have been my vets for over 20 years and many more to come. To me my babies, Mya and Bella are part of the family, my canine daughters, and that is how they are always treated. The loss of my dear Dopey, my 12 year old white boxer was devastating but both doctors and staff's brought comfort and support. From surgery, treatment, emergencies, consultation you name it these are the Vets to trust your pets to!!

Everyone, but everyone at my visit one scary night with my very sick dog, was considerate, attentive, responsive and Dr. Goldberg, the vet on CALL that late at night, was outstandingly wonderful: she explained each and every thing as she did it, was patient with a very scared puppy ( 13 years old ! ) and explained each and every results of her tests...............by the next day, my puppy was on the mend and by the following day, she was barking for her breakfast and dinner and back to normal.
This is an excellent HOSPITAL, with everything available at your fingertips.
I recommend it TEN STARS !

Knowles Animal Clinic is the best around Miami!! Years ago we had an emergency with our dog and since they are open 24/7 they were able to take us in right away. Knowless Animal Clinic has a lot off parking spots, but non are available! You have to double park.The three girls on the front desk are rude and very demanding. I was waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes before I got in to the room. Another 30 minutes till a nurse comes and then another 10 minutes till the doctor shows up. After showing up, he disappears again. I was still waiting with my puppy in the room. Then I had to listen what my puppy supposed to need! I have dogs my whole life and breeding dogs, i am very aware what a 8 weeks puppy need and what not. They try to make a lot of extra things on your dog so they can charge you more!

Out of 4 cities (tallahassee, tampa, nyc, Miami), Dr.Wise is hands down the absolute best vet I have come across. He is kind, caring, intelligent, genuine, thoughtful, and cares so much about his patients and their owners. He is simply the best vet, and for those who bring up the high costs, please be sure to provide some context. Dr wise is fair and honest, and never charges extra for follow up visits. Moreover, he will see your pet without any advanced notice which is PRICELESS. I advise anyone in search of a vet to make an appointment with him because you'll miss out on the kindest (and most intelligent) vet that Miami has to offer.
