This place is only out for money. I had spent nearly 1,000 dollars in a month and had already paid for the “premium” plan they offer. They are extremely disorganized. I was told his kidneys looked fine, yet they recommended an expensive kidney diet that I can only ge there. I cried at the last apt because they again wanted more money for tests that may or may not be the issue. I asked why not so one test at a time she I do t have to spend a fortune for no reason. They are only out for money. They don’t care about animals. I read all these negative reviews before I took my pet and decided to take him anyway because I could get an apt. within the week at any other vet. Please people!!!!! Read these reviews! Thank you All Care Animal Hospital. When my Toby suddenly started getting sick over and over on a Saturday afternoon, your office answered on the 2nd ring. The Tech met me at the door and took us back immediately. The Doctor had him diagnosed and on a treatment plan within about 20 minutes. Toby and I were a total mess when we got there. Thanks to your friendly and caring staff, they had us both calmed down quickly. Then for 3 days they were wonderful with me when I kept calling to check on him. To top that off, Toby's eyes have always been crusty and his skin itchy. (He's a rescue so I'm not sure of his past.) I've taken him to 2 other offices trying to help him. They just sold me expensive shampoos and eye drops that didn't help. As soon as All Care's Veterinarian looked at him, he diagnosed an infection and put him on an antibiotic. Now his eyes are clear and his coat is beautiful. So that day, not only did you save his life but you gave him a better quality of life. That's priceless. We took our pet there on an emergency and they staff was rude. All she stated was that it's gonna be $125 dollars and clearly sounded like she didn't care about our dog. She came off ghetto. We left it on gods hands and went elsewhere in the morning because all these people wanted money not to care for our pet. Disappointing as Clermont is a great city..but this business is not. The vet tech (Sky) was VERY gentle and compassionate both with us and my service dog. Prior to our visit, over the phone the vet tech who was on midnight duty (Jamie) was also VERY kind, amiable and understanding. When we innitially called, the veterinarian wasn't in, but Jamie told us he could be there in 30 minutes. My husband and I decided to bring our girl in at 8:30 am (Sunday). When we arrived, the doctor was already there. Since no other clients were present at the moment, our dog was seen and cared for immediately. We had to leave our girl on observation with IV fluids and meds. About 3 to 4 hours later, another vet tech (we didn't catch his name) called us to give us an update, which we appreciated GREATLY. Will try to update this review once we pick-up our girl tomorrow (Monday). Up to now, we give 4 stars and not 5, because this place is COSTLY. Luckily for us, we have Trupanion Pet Insurance, so we will be reimbursed for 90% of the approved expenses. Were it not for this, we wouldn't have been able to afford it. (Side note: Since this is mainly an emergency clinic and these people don't know you from Adam, they require 50% down payment when you leave your pet in their care. I find this REASONABLE and FAIR, since MANY people bring an animal to an emergency facility out of pity, BUT NEVER bother to return for it. It happens A LOT MORE than you think.) Read Less

I brought a small stray dog in that had been hit by a car. It looked like a broken leg, but would survive. The first thing they asked me was for $250 . They wouldnt treat the dog without me paying. So if you want to save an injured animal, do expect to be charged the full price. Read Less

I am sure this place is great if you have the money to meet their demands- as an emergency clinic, they are not a good option. Number one concern is where they are gonna get their money. It’s the first and last thing you hear. I’m burying a young ( now dead ) rescue animal today, and cannot help but wonder if it’s life could have been saved had there been no time wasted at this clinic. Disturbing vet. Went in with puppy and 3 1/2 hours later the iron she needed for her serious anemia was not available. They said it was on backorder and not available for 5 days. Nothing over the counter so I went and bought liver to feed her. Also doing blood work. Said results looked odd so they were going to rerun after they cleaned out the blood machine. WHAT!!!! A dirty blood machine giving false readings????? We also keep telling the dr. That she was wheezing, not coughing. Sent us home with cough medicine. . Being a puppy we didn't want to over medicate her. Also sold us a can of dog food??? No iron on it. Told it was to get her to eat. She is and has been eating fine. We are traveling but thought locals should know. This is NOT a caring vet but one that only cares about $$$$. I have raised many dogs, never felt taken like I did with these people. The vet is not in today and they will leave my results for someone to interpret and call me later. This is absolutely ridiculous. I can’t fathom how any pet care is actually performed here. I ended up driving down there in person. While staff was very nice, it in no way made up for absolute TRAINWRECK of care. Cat had a UTI that needed antibiotics he started today. I had a 6 pm appointment and was not seen until 6:25.  The tech came in to record basic info on my dog's records and each time she spoke I had to ask her to speak up - she was mumbling and I could not understand her. When Dr. McCain came in she was very caring and gentle with Josie, took her time examining Josie, noticed an ear infection starting, etc..  She recommended a few tests (for the ears and other issues) and sent the tech back in to give me an estimate. The tech began to mumble again and spoke so quickly I had no idea what she was saying.  Twice I had to ask her to slow down (fast mumbling is very difficult to comprehend) she was going through the list of charges so fast I don't think she stopped to take a breath (why was she in such a hurry?).  I considered getting everything done until I asked  how long it would take; 30- 45 minutes, I was told.   It was already 7 pm; I decided to wait until the following week when I could return at a better time.  If the next experience isn't any better then it will be time to do some serious thinking. With all due respect, I'm just not impressed with the high-school-aged techs working there; they are not groomed in the areas necessary for a medical office. My impression with the technician today is that she was in a hurry and didn't care if I heard or understood the services and tests for which I would be paying over $300.  This reflects on the entire office, not just the technician.Not a great experience. When my family needed help trying to figure out what was wrong with my dog, all the techs and doctors were very helpful and caring. Unfortunately, we had to put my dog down. About a week later I received a sympathy card from the office signed and noted by all the staff members. Mind you, I was not one of their customers prior to that. That small act alone has brought me back to them. I now have a rescue cat and they treat him like a superstar. I love all the staff and Dr. McCain is awesome. I took my pup Julia to All Care Animal Hospital. I regret going. They don't know how to handle a scared puppy. They dragged my puppy out the room and were choking her in treatment room until she couldn't breathe. All for a vaccine. This dog has been through a lot and all for two vaccines they could have given in the room while she was on the exam table.When she returned to us in the room I was already upset hearing everything that was going on. She was gone for 13 minutes or more. As she walked up to us to greet us she vomited a large blood clot..... like Wth just happen. Then dr came looked at it and said her treatment plan to the vet tech and walked away. I'm like okay now this is bull shit! They proceed to put the darn leash on and drag her out again!! Omg really did you really have to choke her. At that point I said no use my leash and my harness. Then they still were pulling her?!?! Like obviously she had some trauma pick her up she's 35lbs of scared puppy. So I picked her up and walked her back all upset because they said she needs to be hospitalized. .... I told them in my 8years of being a Veterinary Technician I've never seen this!! They took her I went back into the room. Waiting for the Dr to appear nothing. The tech comes back in we request to speak to Vet... she said okay she will let her know. Then!!! They ring up a estimate for over night Hospitalization over 200! On top of Our already 273 bill!! You have to kidding me . How dare you bill us for hurting this traumatized puppy.. and no apologies!No word from the Veterinarian. We refused care from them sign papers and left. They also charged us for medication to coat her stomach. Never explained anything to my husband (he kept so much composure)  he could have told them off but keep it calm. Paid our bill left and went to another vet hospital to check her out. They think she's in shock.Now I'm at a vet ER waiting to see if she's okay.I repeat never take you pets here.I hear them saying she's Turing blue your choking her she's not breathing! Omg I should have just went to the back and took her then.How dare you not even come speak to us and try to blame her getting worked up for vomiting blood. I have X-rays proving she suffered a trauma!I am going to repost this.. for all to know.I'm so upset .I've never posted something like this in my life I hope they can see this !IVE  SHOULD HAVE PUT TWO AND TWO TOGETHER . I took my dog here for an emergency and they were fine.  But when I picked her up in Monday they told I needed meds and charged me for them.  When I checked out they told me that they did not have more.   So they told me they would call me when they came in the next day.  3 days later I called and they finally just got them in and were going to charge me again.  They never called yo check on Sidney either.  Not good customer care Read Less

My dog had heart failure and we knew the end was coming, we took him to the vet early in the day and they said we had the option to put him to sleep or spend thousands of dollars and he still not make it, so we decided to take him home for 1 last night at home with the family so everyone could say goodbye we knew he wouldn't make it until morning and we called this place asking if they would be able to make him comfortable while our mom was on a plane from NY to get here in time to say good bye. They were so rude and the first thing they asked was have you been here before? Do you know the prices? It was so rude and then to tell us the vet refused to put him on oxygen for 2 hrs until my mom arrived, they said just bring him so we can euthanize him! They are horrible people who are not compassionate AT ALL please take your animal to VEC in Orlando it's only 30 from clermont on the turnpike they were WONDERFUL they could not have made this difficult time any easier! I took my dog in for an after hours emergency because my dog's eye looked really bad and I was afraid it was infected or worse. It cost $125 which was very expensive considering they did basically nothing except traumatize my dog. When I spoke to the lady on the phone she said that the price included a full exam of my dog to make sure there was nothing else wrong, but all they did was look at his eye and say there was nothing wrong with it - that it was just irritated. Not to mention they were very rude and not compassionate towards my dog AT ALL while they were trying to examine his eye. They were holding him down while he was whining and squealing and the vet started yelling at my dog to "stop it" and "shut up, you big baby". I was SHOCKED! I brought him to a REAL vet the next day and sure enough he was experiencing Horners Syndrome! I will never bring my dog there again and I suggest you do the same!!! Read Less

I wish I could do negative stars. Two nights ago, I called about my dog who had gotten into some chocolate and was throwing up. I didn't know about it until hours later when I found the chocolate on the floor and she had all the symptoms that she ate chocolate so I called All care to see if there was anything I could do without having to bring her in and the awful woman on the phone around 11:30pm spoke to me like I was 4 and didn't know what the hell I was talking about. Since this was the only 24 hour ER vet, I decided to take her there because she needed to be seen. I get there around 12:30am and NO ONE was to be found. I rang their door bell, knocked on all their doors and even tried calling them back, nothing. I am very disappointed with this place and WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!! LIARS, LIARS, LIARS !!!!!  Went in this place in Sept. 2016  My dog broke or fractured his leg. They said the bill maybe between $1500 and $2500 depending on what he needs and I said there is no way I can afford that now.  I'am trying to repair old credit. They told me to apply for Credit Care (some type of credit help they have)  and I said no, don't want to touch my credit right now, as I'am in a recovery period.   She told me I HAD to sign a piece of paper stating I'am giving them permission to work on my  dog so I said ok. Just for someone to see him, I had to sign. So I did  of course.. IT WAS A POINT BLANK OUTRIGHT LIE !!!!!!    What I  signed was giving them permission to check my credit.   She left the room and came back with a denial, and told me she DID NOT tap into my credit that this was just a formality.   I was so upset my dog was injured , I did not even question it. She changed the subject and we continued to talk about the dog.  A week later I get a notice from the bank telling me why they denied it..  I WAS FURIOUS!!!!!!   I called bank and told them how I was LIED to and they told me they were so sorry and would take that off my credit..   I was so relieved.  I have called 5 times trying to get the owner or a manager to call and they are out or don't return my calls.   They know they are wrong!! People ,, if they will lie about this what are they lying about next??  STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!!!   There are so many others out there that  really care...  THIS IS NOT THE PLACE !!!!    My babies are better then this  and on top of that I think their services  are VERY expensive.. RAVE!!! Thanks to All Care Animal Clinic our lil Louie is home and doing much better! After my sweet Coco passed away from congenital kidney disease under the care of another vet and my sweet puppy Hershey died under the care of TWO other vets I decided to take Louie to a vet that does labs right there on site and is open 24/7! DR. MCCAIN was above and beyond wonderful- she was very thorough, FULL of knowledge and very loving to our Lou who is very timid. She mid him because he was dehydrated and sick and ran tests galore right away and found out that he had Clostridium. MATT the vet tech was awesome, above and beyond what his duty was. He took so much time with us talking to us and making us feel better and really bonding with Louie before he took him back to do his IV. He stayed late to see us when we came to visit Louie at 7pm. REBECCA, his overnight caregiver, vet tech was amazing and so sweet and loving to Lou. She told me to call anytime overnight to check on him and I did... I even called at 3:30 AM and he wouldn't urinate because he's timid and never been outside the home and I asked her if I could come in and help him go (otherwise the doctor would have to obtain a urine sample by needle In the morning) and eat and she said absolutely! So I got there at 4 am and we got him to potty, obtain the sample and even eat the RX food - her compassion for animals is apparent. COLLEEN, their new receptionist, I've known for 10 years when she used to work for another vet. She knew of my sweet Coco's passing and the puppy's passing and she gave me hugs and a lot of comfort the two days that Lou was here. It really made a huge difference. This review pertains strictly to their emergency services; I cannot attest to the regular vets or services as I have never been there otherwise.On a Sunday morning in June, I found myself in a situation requiring immediate emergency veterinary attention. I called All Care and spoke to Michelle. I was hysterical. Michelle calmly got all necessary information from me and inquired whether I had someone to drive me because I was clearly not okay.Fast forward to arrival: Michelle was waiting at the back door to escort us in and two techs immediately began with vitals. They were calm and efficient. Unfortunately, my pup's eye could not be saved, but Dr. Greenstein worked quickly and efficiently to minimize the amount of time my old boy was under anesthesia. The incision healed nicely and my boy adjusted pretty quickly to life with one eye.Michelle was instrumental in bringing my emotional state to a manageable level. I sobbed silently in the waiting room,  blaming myself, playing "if only..." scenarios on loop in my mind.  Michelle gently reassured me that that this sort of thing just happens sometimes no matter what we think we could or should have done differently. She managed to engage me in casual conversation to take my mind off the issue at hand. She really helped so much and is a great asset to All Care. She is compassionate, calm, kind, and competent.I am grateful Dr. Greenstein was the surgeon on-call. He is clearly very knowledgeable and had performed this procedure before. I took my dog there 6/30/16 after hours for an emergency of very bloody stools. They kept her for 2 days and never told me what she had was serious. Come to find out she had clostridia a highly contagious disease,which I found out on the phone with them today after I called to complain that the symptoms were back. I have 4 other dogs and they never told me to keep her confined and away from the others. So they have been eating, drinking from same bowls and sleeping with each other. Mind you this happened a month ago !! I had to take same dog to my vet YGAF in Mascotte after the same symptoms had come back and now have to have all tested and All Care holds no responsibility to help me financially. Don't even want to give them ANY stars. Wish you could do negative stars! The worst! Dr. Colleen McCain only cares about money. Been here twice with my dogs. They always OVER charge and try to add on additional fees. Gave me a quote of over $700 so I took my dog somewhere else. Other place only charged me less then $100. Another time they wouldn't even give me a price over the phone to have my cat put down. Said I'd have to pay $50 vet visit and only then at appt. would they be able to give me prices. I was using another vet office that I wasn't very happy with so I moved over to AllCare. The front staff is great I feel awful I don't remember his name but there is a receptionist there and he is just wonderful, the vet techs are so good with my dog who is nervous/aggressive with people he doesn't know and I can't say how much I LOVE Dr. Irish. She is sweet even when my dog isn't being the easiest guy to work with. I felt like my dog was treated wonderful and is on his way to recovery thanks to Dr Irish and the staff here. Read Less

I boarded my 3 month old pug Phoebe here in June. When I came to pick her up, they handed me back the same three cans of food I dropped off when I left her there. Needless to say, I was very upset and wasn't shy in verbalizing it. I left undecided about whether or not to return. Over the New Year holiday Phoebe started urinating blood. So with few alternatives I went back to All Care. The ER Dr. was pleasant and things went well so I decided to give them another chance. I had reservations but scheduled a follow-up appointment on Saturday. After putting me in the exam room the tech notified me that Phoebe was past due for care I paid for as part of their Bronze package and I agreed to let them due the vaccine and tests. After leaving briefly the tech came back and told me I was no longer welcome at the clinic and they wouldnt be completing the vaccine and tests. When I asked why, I was told because I "mistreated" their staff in June. I reminded her that it only happened because they mistreated my dog. Dr. McCain then told me that they changed what they fed Phoebe due to her developing diarrhea which didn't match the story the tech told me when I picked her up which was they had that kind of food and they fed her from their supply. Sounds to me like they tell you whatever makes them look best at the time so who knows where the truth lies. I can't say it's the worst care but I question their ethics. After having been a tech myself for almost 10 years I have a pretty good understanding of Veterinary medicine and this place doesn't hold up to the standard of care I am used to. I refused to leave the exam room until the provided the services I paid for. Then as I was about to leave she told me there was a $25 fee because I was overdue in getting the vaccine and tests, which I repeat, I had already paid for. I told her I wasn't paying it and left. Needless to say, I will never be going back. You know that little voice in your head that worn you something is hinky...listen to it!  If I had, none of this would have happened. Read Less

Took my 2 dogs in for their annual exam/ vaccinations. Four hundred dollars including one hundred for office visit! OK.. they need to make a profit.. I get it.. then I was told they need to come back in 3 weeks for their booster shot. $ 27 dollars ea. OK.. no big deal.. So I come back and they do ANOTHER full exam when all they needed was the booster shot. ANOTHER $100 for office visit!! On Saturday my dog, Chance left this earth Ann, Dr. Greenstein, Erica, and Shirley that went above and beyond the call of duty. Dr. Greenstein was patient and treated Chance and me with the utmost respect and tried to his best to save my precious boy. Ann was there from the beginning to end. Shirley help with arrangement from the his final resting place to his pawprint. Erica had patience and professionalism. This means so much to a client. My dog had a tummy ache, and I needed something to make him feel better. After showing me a 500$ bill to keep him over night, I opted just for some special dog food to help him at home. They must have not liked that I didn't want to pay that much, so they came back with the dog food for a much cheaper bill, and all his records so I could take him elsewhere from then on. We took our male cat there fearing his urinary tract was blocked at 10pm. We thought no big deal as they advertise 24 hr emergency clinic, except there is no Vet on duty, so they made us wait outside in the rain. They had someone at the office, but still kept us locked out until Vet arrived. We found out our cat was not blocked, but had a bad infection, which requires a shot and antibiotics.  They wanted to keep him overnight and run every conceivable test to the tune of $427 plus drug cost. We said forget it and took him to our regular Vet the next mourning and you guessed it, a shot and antibiotics for $90. We rescue animals so we know a few things from experience. I will drive twice the distance or more in the future for my emergencies, not to mention these people are extremely unprofessional! Read Less

This vet really needs to work on time management and upfront pricing....Our first appointment for our kitten took over 2 hours and the waiting room was empty... Having small children with me made it even more difficult.  When I was informed of the outrageous price of 230$ for kitten shots after 2+ hours of waiting, I accepted just out of frustration.... After I left I felt completely robbed!!!! The 230 included the 2 rounds of shots so we had to go back a 2nd time which was again a failure when it came to time management, I ended up leaving my kitten because we had been waiting for over an hour and they seemed to think it would more than likely, be at least another hour, because the vet was very busy (again, empty waiting room) they must hide all these so called customers... Anyway I will now have had to make 4 visits total for what should have been 2 visits because they just can't seem to figure out the shot schedule. I'm very tempted to take a loss on the prepaid $ for the shots and get the final rabies at another office....A 15$ rabies isn't worth a 2 hour wait in my opinion... I would not recommend this vet to anyone that I like!!!! The front desk ladies are very sweet but other than that I was not satisfied at all with this particular veterinarian office. Read Less

I have been going here for years until recently. Dr. Z is now gone and the new Doc will no longer get my business. She did an unnecessary procedure on my dog and it wasn't even done well. I boarded my dogs and will never do that again. Read Less
