The staff at Bayshore are so kind and caring with my dogs. Dr. Lin cares for both of my Huskies. She even gets on the floor to accommodate the one who is nervous. Bayridge's staff and Dr. Cooper have provided excellent care to our labradors. They helped one through end of life stages. They have provided standard care, vaccinations, and checkups to the other for 5 years (as of 2018), since puppyhood. They also offer short-term boarding to client pets. I have taken my cats and dogs to Dr. Damien Lin for over 20 years and can't imagine trusting any other veterinarian the way I trust her.  She's experienced, capable, brilliant, caring, and attentive.  She also has a very calming personality that my pets (and I!) respond so well to.  I have always loved the way she understands and appreciates each of my animals' personalities.  I also love that she's involved in the community by taking her rescue dogs to spend time with the elderly in nursing homes.  She's the real deal!  I highly recommend you take your furry family members to Dr. Lin at Bayridge for all of your veterinary needs. I cannot say enough about the compassionate and caring staff here.  It will be a year in June I had to put my beloved Siamese cat Kindra to sleep. Dr. Cooper and one of the techs came to my home for me. They were so caring and understanding of the fact that this was one of the hardest things I ever had to do.  They gave me the time I needed to say goodbye and never once made me feel that my heartache was something silly.  They made the experience of having to send Kindra over the "rainbow bridge" beautiful and I will always be grateful. I have visited this veterinarian several times and have always had a positive experience.  Dr. Theiss in particular, is why I love this place.  When I called and asked which of their vets were more open minded to natural and alternative healthcare, Dr. Theiss is who was recommended.When I took my male Maltese Wilbur in for an annual exam I was impressed with his professionalism and demeanor and felt that he truly cared about his clients and patients and was thorough in his exam.When I took my female Maltese Missy in for an exam, she was scared and shaking (as she always was in a vet's office).  To minimize her discomfort, and because she had a heart condition and I was concerned about elevating her heart rate, I told the tech that I would be outside until Dr. Theiss was ready to see us.  A few minutes later Dr. Theiss came out and sat on the bench with us where he performed the entire exam, without me even requesting it.  How thoughtful!  When her health and quality of life became such that I made the agonizing decision to put her to sleep, Dr. Theiss and his staff were compassionate and made us as comfortable as possible.On top of all this, their prices are very fair.  I, like many of you love my pets like my children and probably take better care of them than I do myself.  I ENTHUSIASTICALLY recommend Dr. Theiss and staff. This vet hospital does it all: vet services, grooming and boarding. Unfortunately, they have the unorthodox practice of performing unauthorized and unneeded services and charging for them.  They are never at fault, as the customer is always wrong.  They happily note that if their files indicate that they tried to call regarding the "needed services" and they are unsuccessful in speaking with you, that they can do what is needed. Our dogs have received duplicate vaccines, annual exam tests months prior to the annual anniversary, and other unneeded and unauthorized services on many more than one occasion.  Management has each time refused to adjust the fees, and staff would not release my dogs to me unless all amounts were paid, including the unauthorized amounts.The owners of the clinic let their front desk staff set the rules and speak with clients as the staff wishes. Though they are convenient and provide all the services that one could wish for, their practices of doing unauthorized services, the staffs' poor attitude towards clients, and the owners' desire to place weekly cashflow above maintaining longstanding client relationships, all point strongly to "stay away".  You and your pets deserve better than Bayridge.  (Shame on us for having gone back to them after being burned more than 1x!)
