I went to Dr. Lanier’s office taking my two dogs for a dental checkup and cleanning. Dr. Lanier was very professional and took good care of my dogs. He provided excellent services to both of my dogs and explained to me in details all about the prosedure and the after care treatment. Always offers solid advice, and then works with us based on our feelings towards whatever the situation may be. I was nervous finding a new vet for all 4 of my babies...since relocating here from out of state. The receptionist was so sweet on the phone and was able to get my one dog in within 1 day. UPDATE Almost five months after I had to put my dog down, I receive a harassing, threatening message from the kennel tech through Facebook Messenger. ------------------------------------------------------ If I could give zero stars, I would. My family and I have seven dogs all together that would go to this clinic for all appointments as well as boarding. In the last year, they have slipped up numerous times eventually leading us to having to put down one of our amazing dogs as a result of their negligence: 1. Our lab was diagnosed incorrectly until we brought her to a new vet. She now acts like a two year old puppy. 2. I asked for four dogs to be washed and trimmed over Thanksgiving break boarding and they neglected to do that. They apologized and said they would take care of it when I came back to drop them off for Christmas break. One of our cocker spaniels also came back with a limp.. they cant run anywhere, how did he hurt it?? 3. During Christmas break boarding, our second cocker spaniel came home without being able to put any weight on his left leg. In all of Dr. Laniers notes, he claims that the problem was in his right leg but he wasnt putting weight on it due to mild arthritis. After taking the pup to a second vet, we found out that the problem was not from the arthritis, but a cellulitis infection in his left hind leg and his front right paw. The infection was so bad, we had to put him down. Good job, Dr. Lanier. Way to investigate.. 4. Also, they missed the washes and nail trims AGAIN over Christmas break boarding. I believe there was mistreatment in the kennel by Samantha Hicks (the kennel tech) and negligence on Dr. Lanier's part. They can't even trim nails.. I shouldn't have expected them to keep my dog healthy. Read Less

I cannot thank Golden Gate Animal Clinic enough. Our guinea pig broke both teeth very badly and Golden Gate Animal Clinic saw him within an hour of calling them. They worked on him that day and he was home to our daughters that evening. We will always be using Golden Gate Animal Clinic for all of our pets needs from now thru the future. Dr.lanier and dr.morton have seen all 4 of my babies... Beauford my basset mix, Diesel my shar pei mix and my 2 leopard geckos Lawrence and Loretta and all i can say is they are FABULOUS! I couldn't be happier!! Dr. Morton has always been so nice and loving with all our pets. I am a little of a worry wart and he always takes the time with us and never rushes us. DO NOT use this facility! We boarded My cocker spaniel here while we were away for Christmas. Received a call that our dog was favoring his RIGHT hind leg, they xrayed and said he had mild arthritis. Took him to another vet, it was his LEFT hind leg and he had a serious cellulitis infection, as well as in his right front paw. No lab work was run, if so they would have seen the extremely elevated white blood cell count. I just had to put my dog down today! Just a month after I left him in their incapable hands. Gross negligence, makes you wonder how they treat your animals when you board them here.....BEWARE!!!!! Read Less

My husband and I took our 6 yr old cat and our 10 week old puppy there for the 1st time yesterday. Was very pleased with everyone we came in contact with. All were kind, pleasant, and friendly. They took time to answer all our questions and made us feel comfortable. Even our pets seemed to be only a little scared. Was not too bad on the pocket book either. Dr. Lanier has taken care of Phoebe and Domino for about 10 and 8 years and now we have added Sarge into the mix. The staff deal well with me when I am worried about my babies.
