Very friendly staff. Dr. Butts was very friendly and knowledgeable answered all my questions and but all my concerns to rest. The technician was Nicole and she had no problems with my dog who is a large dog and can throw his weight around. Moved here 2 years ago with 6 dogs, I try and do my research before hand and stopped in personally to ask some questions regarding a rundown on their prices, staff etc.  I spoke to a lady named Rachel, whom I got to know and always called her Miss Rachel.  She was very informative and said that they were competitively priced with the other vets in Naples. I chose them as our vet and had been going to them for about a year and half.  Miss Rachel has since left and moved back North and that's when everything started to go in the wrong direction.  They have a very young staff, but always friendly, however, when Miss Rachel left then everything seemed to get unorganized, records are incomplete, you go in for an appointment that they send you reminders on, then they tell you that "well we don't show you have an appointment today".  Enough was enough for us and we have moved on to another Vet that offers the same services and quality care for a much more affordable price.  I wish these people at mission hills the best of luck, however, I will not be back after the treatment my wife and I received recently by charging us $240 office visit just to tell us to go to Walgreens and get Benadryl for our dog.  Then to show up to get one of my newest pups spayed and then told my wife we were not on the schedule after I got the text reminder on my phone making me aware of the appt.4 stars - friendly staff1 star- price/ affordability1 star - organization/records management2 star - wait time Read Less

I have been trusting Mission Hills Veterinary Center with the care of my dog for the past 6 years. Dr. Butts does a fantastic job of preventative care for my dog as well as treating him when things just aren't right. They are conscious of price when recommending treatment and always have my dog's best interest in mind. The front office is extremely organized and efficient. Maggie and I were greeted by the receptionist who assured us our annual visit would begin shortly. Maggie was then weighed and the vet's assistants came shortly thereafter to prep Maggy for her visit. All were friendly and welcoming. Maggie tends to get nervous for these visits, but the techs were very affectionate and calming. Her shot and the taking of blood samples were done efficiently and properly. Maggie indicated no discomfort or pain. Dr. Butts saw Maggie promptly and completed her exam with interest and care. I never felt rushed and she took time to answer questions thoroughly and address any concerns. We like her very much! The receptionist completed the usual billing but also made sure my county registration was completed using Maggie's chip and she renewed the chip identification noting I had a new address and telephone number. This was very helpful and also saved me time and money. Overall, it is apparent that the entire staff are committed and working together to provide the best care for our pets! My wife Mindy and I moved to Florida a little over a 1 and 1/2 years ago. We were really concerned about our Pomeranian Tippy since we just had lost 2 Pomeranians a year before. We were told about Mission Hills from a family member who recommended you. Boy, we couldn't be happier. Tippy had his wellness check and he was treated by Dr. Butts like his was her own dog. Rachael at the front desk is a joy to work with. She followed up with us on every question we have had and knows TIPPY when we come in the front door. When we have had concerns about his health, she has always scheduled us as soon as we could get him in to check out our concerns. We have just rescued another Pomeranian SUNNY and he will only be going to Mission Hills. We recognize the concern they have for our dogs and look forward to their loving care. As for the gentleman that had the bad experience with his dogs prescription, we had the same problem with my WIFE who required several pills after oral surgery. The CVS Pharmacy told us the same thing. The doctor could not just call the prescription in because of what the pills were for. They had to have a hard copy of the prescription since this is the law. It was inconvenient to go back to the doctors office, but we also understand they do not make the rules. Read Less

I had tried numerous vets in the area they all made me wait longer and cost a lot more and did not treat my pet with the courtesy,love and respect as Missions Hill doctor and staff did. Mission Hills Vet is amazing and they truly are angels for taking such good care of my Piper ! I actually found out about Mission Hills through Google, was looking for a vet to bring my new rescue puppy to last May of 2015 and saw that Mission Hills was the closest to my then boyfriends home. I wasn't expecting to love it so much there and to have such a compassionate and smart Vet, like Dr Angela, who took the time to listen to everything I said and my worries (never once did she undermine my worries!) and then she took the time to explain everything ! I was so impressed with her knowledge and her willingness to be so kind as to not judge me for my phobia of Intestinal Worms with my dogs despite the test coming up negative !LOL, I don't like them ! But she supported my concerns and informed me that it would be okay and appropriate to deworm my dog every month, every other Vet looked at me like I was crazy and dismissed my concern. I, also, brought Piper in for her surgery, she had a sun spot on the back of her neck, and not only did Dr Angela do an amazing job at removing the sun cancer but she also did a wonderful job with my puppy bear! The whole staff is amazing there and extremely proficient, the nurse came in before our surgery and literally explained EVERY step of the surgery and every charge or test they would run on Piper. And to make things even better , when I came and picked up Piper she was in such a good mood and the Staff called Piper twice to check up on her ! I love this place and I am going to bring my two other dogs here!!! Def recommend anyone to go here, I am extremely picky especially moving down here from New York City, the change hasn't always been very easy but establishments like Mission Hills have made the adjustment easy and seamless ! If I could give 0 stars I would. This "veterinary" center claims to have compassion and care about your animals. What they mean is that they really like money and will make it very difficult for you and your pets.My grandmother passed away and I was left in charge of their 12 year old golden retriever. I drove 4 hours to pick up the dog and brought him back to Orlando. The problem arose when he needed a simple prescription filled. This "vet" refused to fulfill the prescription through a reputable online pharmacy claiming that the prescription could be tampered with if faxed. This placed continually refused to send a prescription and said that they could mail me one to mail to the online pharmacy (because somehow, a written prescription is much more difficult to alter than a faxed one). Their "solution" was to fill and ship the prescription at 3x the cost of any other pharmacy. Clearly they care about the animals.So now in order to keep my parent's dog alive while they are gone for a funeral I get to spend the same amount of money for 1/3 of the product and some "compassion." This place is a joke. In the 10+ years I have owned my own pets this is the first time I have had the pleasure of dealing with a veterinarian with so much compassion for animals that the animals look like little $ signs to them.I would go on about how they wanted to spend $1,000's on a 12 year old dog to misdiagnose him in the first place, but they've wasted enough of my time and money. This is THE BEST vet clinic I have ever dealt with in the 8yrs since adopting my 2 dogs. I went in to an emergency vet clinic with my bull terrier and she was diagnosed with pyometra. Her symptoms were very minimal so I was able to leave the emergency vet and look into scheduling surgery and coming up with the cost for surgery. A few days later I called the Mission Hills because her symptoms were becoming more concerning. They got me in immediately (730am) and scheduled surgery for the same day. Dr. Butts is highly competent and professional and her team is just as well! The vet tech Rachel is so kind! As were the other techs. My dogs surgery went well and Dr. Butts took a lot of time to speak with me before and after surgery. They can be very busy at the office, but it is well worth the wait to have a team like this handle the care of your pets. The prices are very competitive. My dog has been a patient here since I adopted her almost a year ago. The staff is friendly and Dr Butts is great. The office is clean, well-maintained, and professional and the prices are definitely reasonable. I think for standard vaccines, preventative heart worm meds, and two office visits when my dog was sick I've spent $200-$300 over the course of the year. I used to live about a mile from the office but just moved to south Naples. I plan to keep seeing this vet despite the distance because of how well they've always treated my dog and me. Read Less

i was in there today at 745am with my cat and that the receptionist turned us away, she told me that when the vet came in that we couldnt see her since it wasnt an emergency, i told her it was an emergency and she sat at her desk and looked into the cat carrier that i was holding and told me that my cat was fine.  i left and went to a different vet that saw her immediately, my cat was dehydrated, had an abcessed tooth, and was having a kidney problem with a creatine level of 20.  she is currently receiving an iv trmt for the dehydration, along with antibiotics and is going to be on meds for her kidneys, plus the tooth as to be removed.  but according to their receptions "the cat is fine."  I will never visit this vet again and I advise others to avoid this vets office at all costs.
