I am so impressed with Dr. Ewing and the staff at North Collier Animal Clinic. They go above and beyond what any other vet has. Because I am handicapped and my husband recently had surgery the girls meet us in the parking lot and help us. I first met Dr. Ewing near the end of my last dogs life. He refered me to Dr. Arsenault ( a vet cardiologist) and we had 9 presious months with our baby because of it. We now take our puppy to him and always recieve wonderfull honest care. Dannielle and the other techs are great! Read Less

The vet technicians were incredibly courteous. They seemed to genuinely care about my dog and offered me the nearest appointment time. The vet however was unbelievably rude. When we walked in the door everything was going ok. My dog is a very nervous puppy so he was a little skittish being in a new place, but there was no growling or signs of trying to bite. No sign of aggressive behavior. Now when we were put in the exam room to wait for the vet not only could we here him ye...lling at the techs, we also heard him complaining about how we had just been to the vet. He asked very loudly why we hadn't gotten his vomiting checked out at the Last appointment. ( We we're at this vet because he had been throwing up and it was a get him in anywhere right away kind of thing.) after hearing him complain and berate his employees he entered the exam room. My dog being nervous did bark quite loudly at him, but he settled down after about ten minutes. After my dog settled down he preceded to tell my spouse and I how we were not being authoritative with our dog. How our dog needed to be tranquilized, and how comforting him when he was scared was not a productive way to handle it. And there was much more, but it's not even worth writing about. He was incredibly belittling and I'm so sorry to anyone that works with that man. Will Not be returning. See More Read Less

Such wonderful, caring experiences every time we contact Dr Ewing and his staff for nearly 30 years. We have had two wonderful dogs, Bandit and Pepe, that have each lived more that 16 years. My little Yorkie, Linus, developed a rather large lump on the right side of his neck.  It appeared almost overnight. I called the North Collier Animal Clinic first thing in the morning, and they said to bring him in at 11:45 that morning.  Dr. Ewing is the BEST!!  Almost immediately, he diagnosed the lump as a bite from either a bee, bug or spider.  What a relief to know it wasn't a tumor.  He gave Linus an injection of antibiotics and pills to give to him twice a day, plus a laser therapy treatment.  Two days later, it's almost gone.  Such a relief to know that Dr. Ewing can take such care of my little furry child. We are thrilled that Dr.Huber/Animal Oasis, is no longer taking new patients-- because we went to Dr. Wade Ewing of North Collier Animal Clinic -- he was wonderful! We have had a lot of cats and have worked with shelter cats and vets. We live in Naples part-time -- Dr. Ewing took our cat Leo who was having urinary problems-- Susan fit us in!! I thought I loved our vet in Sarasota .. but now Dr. Ewing is our "go-to" doctor!! He personally did all the tests and shots, ear cleaning, etc., etc. -- not a vet tech! Important! D., Ewing also discovered our cat has skin acne!! We are so happy to have a caring, smart, educated doctor taking care of our cats!! Did we leave anything out??? I was recommended by a friend with regards to the facility and their Vet, Dr Wade Ewing, while I was visiting Naples with our dog who required services. From the time a placed the call through the office visit, everyone and every service was top notch! The staff are all extremely friendly and you can tell they are truly animal lovers. This facility is the best! Dr. Ewing and the staff are wonderful with our cat and really care about her welfare. Their boarding facility is also top-notch. Honey is diabetic and insulin-dependent, so we have to board her anytime we go out of town. The technicians give her her shots and treat her like royalty! With my animals in the past needing special attention, from a bad breeder, to surgeries, to cuts, you name it; North Collier Animal Clinic always taken care of us like their own. The technicians up front are the most friendly receptionists you will meet in any business, especially Danielle. Doctor Ewing takes the time your animal needs to feel comfortable in the establishment. Dr. Ewing and the girls are very helping, intelligent and acknowledgeable. As for the pocket book, they are also very reasonably priced. If you want an overall, fantastic experience for you and your fur children this is the place to go. My dog Zima has been going to the clinic for a few months. When we first brought her there we thought she might not be able to walk again, much less run, because of her problems with her hips. I have never been to a more helpful and loving vet. I can honestly say employee Danielle has been my savior in the heartbreaking news that I learned about my furry siamese baby. She has helped me stay positive and she loved my cat as if it were her own. She speaks in such a way where I don't feel like I'm bothering her with my thousand and one questions. North Collier Aniaml Clinic is by far the best veterinarian in town! My dogs are always so eager to go there! They have a spectacular boarding facility, very clean and spacious!
