My dogs have been patients of Town and Country Animal Hospital for several years for everything from routine care to difficult surgeries to relatively unusual health issues and recently, an auto-immune disease. The two vets at Town and Country are both gifted women who take time with their patients and owners and the staff is friendly, competent and caring. Other vets, including one I use, could not get my cat in for a pressing matter. This vet here took him in next day for tooth extraction. I like having two amazing doctors Dr. Chetkowski and Dr. Carver-Raffa under one roof! It's also refreshing to have a happy staff as you walk in and leave. Both doctors helped me through puppy stage to senior with my dogs and cats. I recently lost my cat Simba, (20 years old) both Dr. Chetkowski and Matt were amazing, they made his passing very peaceful and calm. Gator loves the staff, and everyone truly understands him! ;) Our cat Sundown also had his first dental cleaning, I was very happy with the procedure! Not sure where to begin, maybe at the end. Last year I had to put my old sweet Labrador Retriever to sleep because he had developed Pancreatic Cancer. The Vets and Techs at Town and Country took such good care of me during this very challenging time in my life. Their vision of compassion and quality were what I was looking for when trying to help my old sweet friend in his final days. They have also been amazing with my new pup! Like a typical adolescent boy, he has had his fill of knocks and torn toe nails. We know the inside of every exam room at the Town and Country Animal Hospital. And like some adolescent boys I know, he is also very brave most of the time and a timid like mouse when he comes into the Vet Office. Everyone has been so patient with him. Trying to help him be brave and then just letting him be him too. If you are looking for a Vet in the Naples area, this is your Vet. I take a boat and drive an hour to see these folks. Last week I brought my beloved pet, Mitzi in to Town & Country because she was exhibiting unusual behaviors. She was diagnosed with CHF in RI back in the Fall and her symptoms were progressing but more that that, she appeared to be in pain - not letting me pet her and barking incessantly. After 14 years, I knew it was time to let her go but I was hopeful that the doctors at Town and Country could give her that "magic pill" to bring her back to her healthy self but that was my heart, in my head, I knew differently. Never having been to Town & Country, I didn't know what to expect which definitely made this difficult visit even more difficult. The Techs immediately put me at ease as Mitzi was somewhat challenging to examine and they took it in stride, doing what they needed to before Dr. Carver-Raffa came in to assess our situation. She was kind and sympathetic to my emotional pain and in a most compassionate way gave me permission to do what needed to be done. I stayed with Mitzi while she was anesthetized and when the lethal injection was given and was comforted by the fact that Mitzi felt no pain (finally) and is now in a better place. I'll be ever grateful to Dr. Carver-Raffa and the staff at Town & Cuntry for helping us both get through this heartbreaking event. Read Less
